How to Become rich on the Internet

Updated on February 7, 2012

Money Motivated

The first thing that you notice about blogs, personal websites and other sites, where the general internet population gather, including Hubpages, is that almost 75% of the users are money motivated.

Everyone wants to make a quick buck with as little work as possible, some people have the knack and make some good money from the internet but others struggle to make a few cents in a month,

I myself am doing quite well with Google adsense, last month I made just under $30 from the Google ads in my hubpages.

As for my Ebay and Amazon commissions I have yet to make a single cent ever, but hey someone is bound to click and buy one of these days and start the ball rolling,it doesn't get me down though because I use hubpages for fun not profit and any money I do make is a bonus and I will use it to give the kids a treat.

Can you make money on the internet?,i am sure that you can,but it isn't easy money you need to work hard at it,producing quality content that will interest other people and promotion for your work is essential.

hubpages make promoting your work easier than most other sites because they give direct links to reddit, digg and, sites which push readers to your pages.

By joining a few money making sites blogs, q and a sites like mylot, email reading sites, hubpages and other writing sites and combining the revenue of them all you might just be able to make some good money,

but that can be hard work so if you aren't able or willing to put in the hours then you will have to make do with your few cents every month.

In short the Internet my seem like a good place to make an easy buck but to make any real money you have to work very hard at it.

If you want to make a full time wage you have to treat it like a full time job and take it just as serious as you would any job.

If you have joined 10 money making sites, spend time every day on every one of them producing quality content, that people will read promote each site, and respond when people comment on your site, it ensures that they will come back to see what your answer to them is. put a link on each site to all of your sites.after a while you will get a regular readership and ofcourse your ads will be clicked.

You may not get rich but If you have 10 sites with each of them averaging $50.00 a month that is $500.00 a month on top of your normal earnings which isnt too bad after all $6000 extra income a year makes a big difference.

lets make lots of money (the petshop boys)

Excellent post! Finding a niche market is, indeed, the key...but SO hard to accomplish! Good luck

thanks harry i hope to find a way for everyone to share,Pauls comment led me to Webbers page, which is really interesting and if alot of the people in hubpages join in and we link the pages together there could be some real money there, but we could do the same thing with other topics too that way hubpages could become a major competitor in many markets, you should take a look too i am working on a hub to link to webbers it should be ready to publish tomorrow or Sunday.....jimmy

Jimmy, This is a good post. We spend a lot of time thinking about this with our goal of providing a platform where people with valuable information can can earn the best return on their work. If someone really wanted to make money and was willing to put in the work, it's really not too difficult. Write one good post a day. That takes time, but with each post your earnings will grow. The key is to write on a commercial topic. Our top earning authors make over $100 per month now and it continues to grow since we drive so much traffic from search. This Hub explains a lot of the business. I was watching the Las Vegas Hotel posts closely. With just a few posts the traffic started to grow quickly, but then the posts stopped.

I would be very interested to see how this experiment turned out if tons of Las Vegas reviews were written. My bet is authors would make decent adsense revenues from the work.

You're doing better than I am, Jimmy. But I'm having a lot of fun with HubPages. Happy New Year!

The best book on investing I've found is "Unconventional Success--A Fundamental Approach to Personal Investing" by David F.Swensen. A bit dull but worth reading. (A get rich slowly not quickly book)
