HubPages Overdrive: Maximizing my time to make money online

HUBPAGES OVERDRIVE!!! This is gonna be my mantra this year 2011 to maximize my time making money online through a decent and legal way of writing rich-text and meaningful hubs on Hubpages.

HP, as everyone shortened it, was born when I was a busy seafarer in 2006. The merchant ship I was working at has been stationed to Texas and Venezuela and other Latin American countries. Opening my account was not that easy due to time constraint. I had to answer some e-mails in a jiffy and never opened interesting Web sites, aside from my Yahoo mail.

It was in 2009 that I came across with the word HubPages. There's a sign-up invitation that prompted me to make my own profile and started writing hub and the monetization through its affiliates like Google AdSense, eBay, Amazon, and Kontera.

I've been drawn to this pool of prolific writers from around the world, influencing me to make word and text- enriched hubs that will attract readers more. Sharing ideas and learning something new from other hubbers allow me to be resilient on topics that with catch the attention of readers around the world.

No other alternative but HubPages

I've tried other alternatives to make a passive income on the internet. These scammers are so demanding that they flooded my e-mails with notices of this and that. I was tempted by one Web site to buy a domain, but was cautioned by one of the victims to refrain from joining the site. Many complaints summed up to one deafening truth, that scammers abound on the net!

I had to settle on HubPages. GoogleAdSense is so strict on hubber-applicants, requiring us ro make hubs adhering to their rules so that approval will not be too difficult. I was turned down the first time I applied, but got the nod the second time I submitted my application.

My sister cautioned me that my dedication on HubPages will do more harm than good. My health is failing and my astigmatism worsen. I had to renew my reading glasses and lessen hours working late at night just to complete my hubs.

She also said that HP can be another scam-in-the-making because the monetization takes a long time, a year or two, before you can receive your first payout. I got angry with what she said.

I reasoned out that Google Adwords will help me choose words that can optimize my hubs. I was given by Google management to utilize my free advertisement that they've sent through Google Adwords. That I did, although, I still owed them some balance when I chose those appropriate words that will be associated with my hubs through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Soon enough, revelations poured in as I received my first payout last November 2010(read my other hub). I spent it wisely (LOL!). My sister who always opposes me was tongue-tied, no further coment was heard.

This gave me a new energy to continue my pursuit on virtual writing. I became magnetized by the bright future I've seen on HubPages.

There's no denying that HP will influence writers around the world for a long, long time. I'll be one of those who'll cling to that bright side of the future as I continue to hone my writing skills and be part of the productive force that continue to bind others to stick on HP.

I'll observe the Ethics of a Journalist, as much as possible. That's the only way to co-exist with HubPages while earning my efforts online.

Hubpages Overdrive on 2011

It's not only a banner year for me, but for everyone else who want to be more active on HubPages this year.

Activities like HubCamp, HubMob Weekly Topic, New HubNuggets, Contests and more entice me to give my best, although there are better hubbers, than me, that I freely acknowledge.

At this stage of my hubbing life, it is more a commitment than the payout as reward for my published articles. There's a responsibility embodied to  every idea or knowledge that I shared. I've grown into a more serious individual who's not afraid to accept criticisms from readers.

I'll strictly observe the ethics on journalism, that whatever I may write; it is i, who'll be accountable fro my published works.

That will be a creed that I'll follow, as long as HubPages believe in my existence.
