I say out loud, what others only think. I take great pleasure in expressing hardcore truth about awkward situations at Misscue's Hubpages.

Money on the Internet

What constitutes a need and at what point do we actually seek a solution from the internet when we are falling short? Some of us may be procrastinators, or in a heavy denial about our situations, and we keep delaying the inevitable.

Many of us search for grants or free money. I have definitely done my share of research and thought I'd post some links to websites on the internet that produce real results for creating income or 'free money'.

Government Grants

This page lists Government Grants that are available to the public. They also offer two downloadable software programs that help you to search for grants as well as filling out grant applications.

Everyone's in' Want', but do they really 'Need'?

What is considered a need versus a want? And at what point do those who are finding themselves falling short, actually seek a solution from the internet?

Many of us have already done the Google search for grants or free money. We search the web endlessly for a quick fix or 'easy street', but I must let you know that as with anything in life, perseverance is key when looking for financial assistance. Has anyone been successful in getting assistance? Check out the following two websites for mini grants that can help you with rent, or your car, or other small bills. You need to apply as soon as you think you may need help in order to get the assistance within the time frame necessary to avoid the initial need from escalating into a problem.

Greedy or Needy

The first site is called Greedy or Needy: http://www.greedyorneedy.com.

Make a wish , anybody can wish for anything they want or need.

The Community votes and decides who wins, then Wishes are granted and make your dreams come true.

Promote your wish!

Get out there and advertise! Bring in your friends and neighbours! Post your wish in your blog. Pop into the forums, and make a thread to show us that you are trying for something.

Remember, creativity goes a long way towards getting the attention you'll need.

  1. Participants submit a wish. It doesn’t cost a penny.

  2. Each wish competes against other wishes for views in either Greedy or Needy categories.

  3. Users directly support wishes simply through viewing them. However, they can also rate a wish while viewing it, to let others know which ones are compelling, and which can be avoided.

  4. Wishes are granted per category, according to the highest number of votes in the specific category.

  5. Participants with top wishes are contacted to collect their funds.

Many of us turn to the world wide web for the solution to our financial shortcomings. These websites truly do offer actual success stories!

Modest Needs

Modest Needs

The next grantor organization is called - Modest Needs. - It is an online charity that offers small grants to individuals and families struggling to remain self-sufficient. I'm proud to be a registered member of the Modest Needs community, and though Modest Needs can't help everyone who asks, I've seen the good this organization has been able to do for others. I think they might be able to help you as well.

If you're still having a difficult time, please visit Modest Needs at http://www.modestneeds.org/ so that you can learn about Modest Needs.

Their services are completely free of charge, and if you end up posting a request for help, I know they'll do the best they can to find a way to help you make ends meet.

The really great thing about Modest needs is that they have hundreds of resource referrals to other agencies that can help with dozens of emergency situations. Check it out, you never can tell until you apply.

Free Charity Cars

Free Charity Car Donations

This next one takes a lot of work, but if you need a free car then this is the website to sign up with. Struggling families nationwide apply for a free charity car at the organization’s car distribution website www.FreeCharityCars.org.

The website was designed to make the process of choosing who receives a free vehicle as fair as possible by providing a forum where individuals can engage the public and pro-actively pursue their dream of car-ownership.

FCC members invest “sweat equity” by voting for others and promoting the charity. The website also provides the charity with the ability to quickly identify qualified recipients in communities nationwide and to match each donated vehicle with each prospective applicant’s specific need. Surprisingly, the unique website has organically morphed into an ever expanding, caring online community offering compassion and hope to struggling Americans.

Please take a moment to post links to websites on the internet that have produced real results for getting money online, or tell me your success stories, so we can pass on the information to others.
