Money Saving How To
In today's economy everyone is trying to find new ways to save a dollar or two by either staying at home on the weekends, Couponing while shopping, adjusting the thermostat, ect... But does it really work? From a personal stand point, YES!! However it doesn't happen over night and results may take a month before really showing up. It's something you have to Commit to and it's not easy but it's worth trying. Right?
So here's a few things to try first. Nothing hard and really simple.
First, adjust your Thermostat to 3 degrees less than what it is outside. I know some of you are thinking I'm crazy as all get out but trust me. Yes it will seem a little unbearable until you adjust. Now if you really feel brave turn off your A/C and open the windows and turn on the fans. This is a good thing for a few reasons. 1. Saves on the electricity. 2. Your home should be opened up and aired out atleast once a month anyways especially if you or your family have been sick. 3. Fresh air never hurt anyone...
Second, Try spending the next month at home working on those projects or reading the books you been wanting to read insteading of going out on the weekends. There is always something to be done around the house.
Third and final challenge instead of eating out. Go home and cook. You will spend less money on a home cooked meal than eating out all the time.
