MySpace Surveys
MySpace continues to be one of the largest social networking websites on the internet, especially among the teenage crowd. One of the latest trends in myspace is the addition of myspace surveys. These young folks seem almost obsessed with asking their friends to take random surveys about topics such as "my love life" and "what would you do if..."
It's great that teens are interested in what their friends have to say about various topics - myspace surveys seems like a trend that is here to stay.
Whether these teens realize it or not, they are conducting an informal form of market research - they have surveys available for their friends to take, and based on their responses, they come up with a conclusion. Even if this process is only done in their heads, the purpose of having a myspace survey on their website is to gather data about friends.
A lot of teenagers may be unaware that there are actually real online market research websites out there willing to pay them for their opinions. It's great to take a myspace survey, but what about a real online survey that will pay you rewards?
There are many online survey resources for young people - two of my favs are: http://www.onlineteensurveys.com/teensurveys.html and http://www.surveybounty.com/usa-teens.html
Registration to all of the online survey websites listed is always free, and it provides the opportunity for cash-strapped teens to make a bit of extra money on the side.
Myspace surveys are great - but give real online surveys a chance and you'll see which ones really pay off.
