How to Check Your TDS & TCS?

Checking your TDS & TCS is a very easy task to do. Just Follow these Simple Steps-

1- Firstly, you need to know your Income Tax username & password which you or your CA uses to file your return. Your Username would always be your PAN & password could be anything.

2- Then go on the Income Tax E filing Website

3- Login with your username or password. Then on left side you will get an option saying "View Form 26AS". This is the form which contains all details about your TDS & TCS. Click on that link.

4- This Link will take you directly to TRACES website which manages this. There you need to select The A.Y. or which you need to check your TDS or TCS. If you want to save it & want printout then select the PF option with the relevant A.Y & click on view.

5- Form 26AS will be downloaded. You will need password to open 26AS form. Password for this for is always Date of Birth in cases of Individual & Date of Incorporation in other cases. Eg- If your Date of Birth is 11/06/1990, then your password will be 11061990. This will open the form.

6- In form You can see the amount of TDS & TCS deucted by others on your PAN. Party name & also relevant section. You can also see details of Advance Tax of Form 26AS.
