There are now so many assortment of gift cards that they sometimes make a good gift for someone you may not know what to buy them. And they can be giving for any occasion has well. And every major store now has a whole line of gift cards to please everyone on that special occasion.

But sometimes a person getting a gift card may not want a gift from that store or may not shop at that store for one reason or another. And ends up putting that gift card in a drawer and forgetting about it till it becomes worthless. Making the person who bought it spend money for nothing and the person who received the gift card ends up getting nothing.

Thankfully, we now have ways to guarantee that all gift cards don’t go to waste, and people buying them are not wasting money for nothing. If someone thought of you enough to give you a gift card than you should get something for it if you are not going to use it at that store.

Today, Web sites such as giftcardrescue.com and plasticjungle.com will buy gift cards from you, the more popular the store, the more cash you'll receive for the card. Could be up to 90 percent of the available balance.

Or if you don’t want to sell it for a percent of what it is worth you can swap it for another gift card of the same value if you find one on these two sites that you like. To sign up on these sites is free and it is such a great way to get something for that gift card and also keep it from just going unused and wasting the money of the person who bought the gift card for you.

Check out plasticjungle here and giftcardrescue here

It is estimated that $2.5 billion will be lost through unused gift cards in 2010. Whether уου  like  it or not, уου probably received a gift card  sometime in your life, and  it  is very  wasteful if уου don’t put  it to good υѕе and get something for it. But many people do continue to let gift cards go unused in large amounts еνеrу  year. Thіѕ doesn’t hаνе to happen. You now can go to these two sites and sell or swap that gift card you do not want and in return get something for it. And in the end everyone comes out a winner. Or what you could do if you don’t want to sell your gift card or swap for another one, you could donate it to the Salvation Army and let them get some good use from your gift cards it’s much better that just putting in a drawer and forgetting about it.
