    Bitcoins have become a serious currency recently with millions of dollars being made for a few individuals on their meteoric rise. You can do your bricks and mortar based shopping with bitcoins in some parts of the world already.

    Seems to me Amazon have a long term objective of controlling a real world currency. We will all be saluting the corporate flags, soon.

    I stick to actual money.  Boutique currencies always seem to be more trouble than they are worth.

    I am reasonably certain that the US government is going to fall on Bitcoins like a ton of bricks in the not too distant future. Same with Amazon if Amazon continues its endeavors along these lines. Not saying whether it is right or wrong. Just saying it's going to happen.
