Seems like you have some great financial advice. I love reading your posts.I have a question.
Discovered your page on Google while I was looking for a personal loan. I'm certainly in over my head at the moment financially and definitely flirting with the idea of Bankruptcy. I work maybe two days out of the week (this recession is taking it's toll). I'm a father of 2 trying to climb out of debt. I have 30,000 in debt, 20 of that is from School. With current car troubles taking a toll on me as well, i'm thinking of getting a loan to help fix the car, or get something more reliable and keep my kids clothed while using the rest of the money to file for bankruptcy. Your thoughts?
It will be hard for you to get a personal loan when you are having financial difficulty, and I personally would have ethical issues with borrowing money that I know that I cannot pay back. You need to concentrate your focus on finding a job first - use public transportation if your car won't get you there. You can let the kids keep wearing the clothes they have, or if they are changing sizes, maybe trade clothes with other people with children who are older..
