Make Money Writing Articles

Updated on January 14, 2010

Make at least $50 daily

The Internet has opened up wide vistas of opportunities, everybody knows that but only few perhaps know how to make these opportunities into personal gains. In this article, we shall see how to make money writing just about anything ffrom “how to boil water” to  “how to fly”.

Many sites offer  free membership to individuals and get their works published and  in addition, earn money for them. These site sinclude AssociatedContent, Hubpages, Triond, ConstantContent, among others. These particular sites and their peculiarities will be reviewed in this article.

This site isn’t a very good money-making tool for individuals outside the US of A and Canada. This is so because US citizens qualify for Upfront and Performance payments whereas international members qualify only for Performance payments which are determined by the number of page views your pages get. AC can be linked to a PayPal account so that payments are safer and PayPal is free.  AC can be tagged to your FaceBook, Twitter accounts so that your friends know when you publish new articles and help you generate traffic.  There are rumors anyway that AC shares your content with other content  sites but these are all included under the Terms of Agreement. If you ask me, it’s a very merciful mercy to “Agree” to those plenty pages of laws and regulations!

This site operates in a rather unique way. You write an article, put a price tag on it and display it with the guys at CC, then they help you sell your original content with its rights depending on the terms of agreement to a willing buyer. But the site has s lot of protocol from submitting your article and waiting some days for the review and then you may be informed ever so politely that your article did not meet their standards. But, of course, there’s no harm in trying!

Triond is basically like AC and pays you based on the Pageviews your articles receive. You also retain the right to display your content elsewhere just like in AC.

This is perhaps the most flexible content provider with a very user-friendly interface and awesome color schemes. HubPages does not pay you anyway, but lets you link to an Adsense or Kontera  or eBay or other account and therefore generate money for you. Hubpages is rated high by Google and their articles come high in searches as well.

Other sites operate by some combination of these features and include:

·         Suite101

·         Ezinearticles etc.
