A Few Things That President Barack Obama Has Never Done to Me

Looking back

Then-Presidential candidate ran his campaign with class, dignity and with an humble demeanor about him when he was overwhelmingly-elected to replace George W. Bush as our nation’s leader. Prior to the Presidential Election, there had been subtle rumblings of discontent in certain regions of the nation that blamed Bush for the high unemployment rate among other national problems.

I do not claim to be knowledgeable about politics, but personally, these who complained about Bush and other voters viewed Barack Obama as (a) “savior” to cause a fast turn-around in America’s economics as well as the rising unemployment figures and the war in Afghanistan that was only supposed to last a few months. And we all know how that went.

President Obama tried his very best to face the nation’s looming problems beginning with the jobless rate. His “Put America Back to Work” program was good for a while and yes, the program did put many jobless Americans back to work repairing bridges and our infrastructure that had been deteriorating for some time. But as quickly as the program started, it stopped. And some groups started to mildly-complaining about Obama not solving “all” of our problems overnight.

I may be asking for trouble with my “maverick” opinion, but I think he has done the best he could do under the circumstances, Speaker of The House, John Bohner, who looks like he hates Obama, and has fought every program and decision he has made or tried to make. How do I feel about Bohner? I do not have anything for him, and by the same token, I have nothing for him either.

Right now I want to do my part to give our President a much-needed pat on the back for doing his best now going on two years. And I am sharing with you . . .

You might want to copy these 10 things down for a future

reference, so you can call me up and remind me of them

when a new President is elected in 2016.

"Thank you, my fellow Americans, for reading my friend, Kenneth Avery's hub."

10 Things That President Obama has Never Done to Me

10.) President Obama has never given me a prank phone call that would have upset me a lot.

9.) He has never visited my home and over-stayed his welcome.

8.) The President has never called me to curse me out.

7.) Obama has never put “me” in a bad light in any of his speeches.

6.) President Obama, an animal-lover himself, has never sneaked onto my property at night and abused my cats.

5.) The President has never sent his lovely wife, Michelle, our First Lady, to my house to borrow a cup of sugar.

4.) Our President has never used my personal information to get himself a credit card to buy expensive things for himself.

3.) President Obama has never “rolled my yard,” with his political cronies.

2.) Barack has never summoned me to the White House to hang-out with him.

1.) President Obama has never in his two-years in office, invited me to go on vacation with him and the family.

  • Personally speaking, Obama has never claimed to be “a” perfect President, but by him not doing any of these 10 things says to me that he cannot be all bad.
