END TIMES REPORT -- World Mourns & Sharia Laws _ 7 Minutes to Midnight - The Prophetic World Clock

OUR CLOCK represents the last seven years of the "Common Era" (C.E. or A.D. Anno Domini) traditionally reckoned as the era following the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth, with C.E. counting the years since the start of this epoch.

THE TIME on the "Prophetic Clock", is shown as "7 minutes 'till Midnight", reflecting the last seven years of this age, which is the point in time that we are rapidly approaching now.

"And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [ Christ the Lord ] is coming; go out to meet him!’" (Matthew 25: NKJ)

This of course referring to the seven years of the "Great Tribulation Period", the final end of this age and the start of the next, the coming Kingdom of Christ on Earth for the next 1000 years. The time on the clock will ONLY change when that day finally arrives; until the final minutes start counting down it will remain at (11:53 C.E.).

This IS NOT the "Doomsday Clock" either (at least not for the "saved" believers), but reflects a time for great rejoicing in the next age that is coming and a message of hope and salvation for the rest of the world; all those who have not found the love and grace of the Lord God yet.

After effects of MAJOR EARTHQUAKE - Huge Blast at Japan Nuclear Power Plant

A powerful explosion has hit a nuclear power station in north-eastern Japan which was badly damaged in Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami. The government sought to play down fears of a meltdown at the Fukushima 1 plant but officials later announced the cooling system of a second reactor at the plant had failed. The news sparked fears of a the risk of a further explosion or leak of radioactive material.

An estimated 200,000 people have been evacuated from the area, the International Atomic Energy Agency says.

9,500 people Missing in Tsunami-stricken Japan Town

Haaretz reports: "Some 9,500 people are unaccounted for in one of the worst-hit areas by the 8.9-magnitude earthquake in north-eastern Japan, officials said. About 300,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and that number is likely to rise with the government increasing the size of an evacuation area around two nuclear power plants in Fukushima in northern Japan, Kyodo said.

Yemen Police Storm Protest Site

At least two people have been killed and more than 300 injured after Yemen security forces stormed a protest site where thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators have been camped out for weeks, demanding the ouster of the country's leader.

Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra, reporting from the capital Sanaa, said that the situation remains tense, and that the opposition is accusing the government of committing crimes against the protesters.

Protests, however, turned violent in the southern port city of Aden, where three people were wounded by gunfire and six overcome by tear gas as police tried to disperse the crowd. Unidentified armed men on Friday killed four soldiers on patrol east of Mukalla city in Hadhramaut province, in southeast Yemen.

Yemen is a crucial partner of the United States in the fight against al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which has plotted attacks against US targets from its bases in the country's tribal regions. It is also battling sectarian and secessionist violence, which have undermined stability and development in one of the poorest countries in the region.

Saudi Police in Show of Force to Prevent Protests

Saudi Arabia launched a massive security operation Friday in a menacing show of force to deter protesters from a planned "Day of Rage" to press for democratic reform in the kingdom, a day after police shot and wounded three protesters in an eastern province where minority Shiites live.

Online activists using Facebook and Twitter have called for a "Day of Rage" and a "Saudi March 11 revolution" demanding a fully elected parliament and ruler in this conservative Islamic monarchy.

So far it has been spared the political tumult that has gripped neighboring countries like Yemen and swept the autocratic leaders of Egypt and Tunisia from power.

Libyan Forces Sock Oil Port as Global Pressure Against Gadhafi Grows

The military forces of Moammar Gadhafi on Friday pounded Ras Lanuf, the key oil port once in the hands of rebel forces, with its leadership confidently vowing to retake all territory from the opposition despite growing international pressure.

Even as it targeted its domestic enemies, the Tripoli government continued to parry with leaders around the globe. In Ras Lanuf, pro-Gadhafi forces cranked up an intense and steady bombardment of the city, believed to be by rocket, artillery and tank fire. A storage tank at an oil refinery was on fire after an air raid there.

This reflects the turn in fortunes for Gadhafi's well-equipped military, which has gained an upper hand after rebel fighters seized ground across Libya. Along with its offensive in Ras Lanuf, government soldiers beat back rebels Thursday in Zawiya east of the capital, Tripoli.

U.S. President Barack Obama reiterated Friday that he wants the Libyan leader to "step down." He added that he "won't take (the) decision lightly" to decide whether to use military force, including helping enforce a no-fly zone, saying it is critical to "balance costs versus benefits."

In Brussels, Belgium, the European Council, a body of the European Union, issued a declaration saying Gadhafi "must relinquish power immediately."

ETHIOPIA: Police arrests 130 Muslims over Church burnings

March 9, 2011 (ADDIS ABABA) – Police in Ethiopia have arrested at least 130 people who are suspected of involvement in burning down dozens of churches near Jimma town in Ethiopia’s western Oromia region, where Muslims are the majority.

Sources from the area said that at least one person was killed and thousands of Christians have reportedly fled since the attacks erupted few days ago. Over one thousand people are are said to have been engaged in the attacks, which according to sources, also has led to the burring down of 59 churches and at least 28 homes of Christians.

Obama Accepts Prospect of Nuclear-armed Iran

During the four days between Thursday March 4 and Monday March 7, the Obama administration switched its Iran policy. As rocketing oil prices triggered by the Arab Revolt wiped out the damage caused the Iranian economy by sanctions, Washington confirmed the worst Saudi and Israeli suspicions that America had no intention of acting to stop the Islamic Republic attaining nuclear weapons, although it held Israel back from doing so when it was more feasible.

This discovery has dealt America's allies in Riyadh and Jerusalem their second letdown in three months, on the heels of White House encouragement of the uprisings againsta select number of Arab rulers.

The closer the Iranian nuclear menace comes to reality, the further it recedes from Israeli political and media rhetoric. Obama's fundamental policy shift on the subject is bad news for Israel in general and at this time in particular, because his support for the Arab Revolt is seen by Israeli and moderate Arab rulers as further evidence of a White House decision to strengthen Iran, which profits hugely from their losses.

Wednesday, March 9, the chief US envoy Glyn Davies reported to the nuclear watchdog's board in Vienna that Iran may be continuing secret work on developing nuclear weapons. In the course of an argument with the Iranian delegate Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Davies warned of "increasingly apparently military dimensions to Iran's nuclear program, including efforts by Iran to develop a nuclear warhead."

Ahmadinejad: Era of Hegemony Over

The Fars News Agency reports: "Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday underlined that the era of hegemony and hegemonic powers is over and the world nations will no more allow others to interfere in their internal affairs. ‘The human society is moving rapidly forward and today's hegemonic powers, which are unrivaled in corruption, pillage, massacre and crimes, are already collapsing,’ President Ahmadinejad said during a visit to the central Iranian city of Qom.

Inspired by the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, people in Libya, Yemen, Bahrain and now Saudi Arabia have been staging massive street protests to press the dictatorial regimes in their countries to step down.

Iranian President: World People Tired of Western World Order

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reiterated on Monday that the recent uprisings and revolutions in the Middle-East and North Africa indicate that nations are tired of the present world order and intend to change the entire system of the management of world affairs.

Ahmadinejad pointed out that the arrogant powers (global imperialism) are against dignity, independence and progress of other countries.

"Hence, the world needs a new order based on justice and those who feel being brothers and close to each other have a greater burden on their shoulders for setting the new world order," he added.

China will Pursue 'Powerful' Military

"Premier Wen Jiabao vowed on Saturday that China would continue building a ‘powerful’ military, one day after Beijing announced a return to double-digit percentage hikes in defence spending.

China has upgraded the People's Liberation Army's capabilities over the past three decades, developing advanced weaponry like its first stealth fighter jet, revealed in January. Besides conventional weaponry upgrades, the push also has led to China's fast-growing space programme and the test of a satellite-killing weapon in 2007.

The PLA -- the world's largest military force - is hugely secretive about its defence programmes, but insists its modernisation is aimed purely at defence of China's vast land and sea borders.

Jordan Valley is New Peace Process Sticking Point

The Jordan Valley has, at least temporarily, replaced control of Jerusalem and the "right" of millions of so-called "Palestinian refugees" to flood Israel as the main sticking point of the Middle East peace process.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on Tuesday warned that if any world leaders back Netanyahu on that issue, they will be killing any chances of peace. "There is no Palestinian state without the Jordan Valley," insisted Fayyad.

The revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and elsewhere, explained Netanyahu, means there is no guarantee a stable Jordanian government will always be there to prevent arms smuggling into a future Palestinian state. Without an Israeli army presence in the Jordan Valley, Netanyahu said Islamists could easily transport all types of weapons from Iran all the way to the hills overlooking Israel’s densely-populated coastal region with little or no opposition.

Fears that Netanyahu is planning to Surrender Judea-Samaria

The Israeli media has been abuzz about a secret initiative Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly planning to unveil in May should the Palestinians continue to refuse to negotiate a bilateral peace. Israelis have heard this sort of thing before, and are justifiably concerned.

Netanyahu himself has not spoken directly about a new diplomatic plan, but has indicated that if the Palestinians continue to make excuses to not negotiate, Israel must be ready to initiate a unilateral plan of its own, in order to avoid an internationally-imposed resolution to the conflict.

Members of Netanyahu’s Likud Party are hoping he is not foolish enough to try the same thing in Judea and Samaria, and that Gaza has proven to him that merely "disengaging" from the Palestinians will not satisfy the Arabs or the international community.

Pakistan Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti Shot Dead for Defending his Faith

Shahbaz Bhatti predicted his death as he defended his faith four months ago. Pakistani Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti has been shot dead by gunmen who ambushed his car in broad daylight in the capital, Islamabad. He was travelling to work through a residential district when his vehicle was sprayed with bullets, police said.

Mr Bhatti, the cabinet's only Christian minister, had received death threats for urging reform to blasphemy laws. In January, Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, who had also opposed the law, was shot dead by one of his bodyguards. The blasphemy law carries a death sentence for anyone who insults Islam. Critics say it has been used to persecute minority faiths.

Pamphlets by al-Qaeda and Tehrik-i-Taliban Punjab, a branch of the Taliban in Pakistan's most populous province, were found at the scene. Tehrik-i-Taliban told BBC Urdu they carried out the attack. "This man was a known blasphemer of the Prophet [Muhammad]," said the group's deputy spokesman, Ahsanullah Ahsan. "We will continue to target all those who speak against the law which punishes those who insult the prophet. Their fate will be the same."

IRAQ: Beheadings Up, as Constitution accepts Sharia

Per AlterNet's Terri Judd, beheading of Muslim females is up in Iraq. Genocide is increasing in the name of Allah. So much for the religion of peace.

The 19-year-old Shawbo Ali Rauf was slain by her clan because of disgracing their "honor." They found a number on her cell phone that was unidentified. "The Iraqi was, according to her father, murdered by her own in-laws, who took her to a picnic area in Dokan and shot her seven times."

Rand Abdel-Qader, l7, was stabbed to death by her father. She was accused of having "become infatuated with a British solder serving in southern Iraq."

Basra police report 15 women slain for breaking Koran dictates. They broke the Muslim "dress code." Others say the statistics are much higher. "Beheadings, rapes, beatings, suicides through self-immolation, genital mutilation, trafficking and child abuse masquerading as marriage of girls as young as nine are all on the increase."

Nineveh's 17-year-old Du'a Khalil Aswad was stoned to death in front of 2000 cheering men. She "fell in love with a boy outside her Hazidi tribe." No one has been prosecuted. Her father informs media that her family has been ostracized by the entire tribe. They can no longer live in their home. They are "outcasts."

"'Honor killings are not actually a crime in the eyes of the government,' said Houzan Mahmoud, who has had a fatwa on her head since raising a petition against the introduction of Sharia law in Kurdistan. 'If before there was one dictator persecuting people, now almost everyone is persecuting women.

Radicals Bringing Campaign for Shariah to White House

WASHINGTON – Three British Islamic activists are planning a pro-Shariah law rally in front of the White House next week, arguing that it is the solution for all of America's problems.

Sayful Islam says the message is clear: The American dream is a farce.

"The message we're going to present is two-fold. The first is the fallacy of the American dream. The American dream has become a nightmare. The message of freedom and democracy has failed the people it's trying to help," Islam remarked.

Islam says the second part of the message is Shariah law.

"Shariah is the solution for all of the problems that mankind is facing today, economically, socially, judicially and politically. Islam is the solution and Shariah is the perfect system that needs to be implemented," Islam claimed.

"We want to invite the Muslims and non-Muslims in America to think about Islam as an alternative way of life. What took place in Egypt and Tunisia and what we're seeing now in Libya is people fighting against oppression," the cleric Choudary claimed.

"It's about time the Muslims stand up and raise their call for Islam and the Shariah. What we're trying to show the people is that the tyranny they're facing is man-made. The head of this serpent is the United States of America. They're the ones promoting this all across the world," Islam said.

UK 'honour killing' - Banaz Mahmod - cousins jailed for life

Banaz Mahmod, 20, an Iraqi Kurd from Mitcham, south London, was strangled in January 2006 and her body buried in a suitcase in Handsworth, Birmingham. Miss Mahmod was seen by her father and uncle to have brought shame on her family after she left her violent husband and later began a relationship with a man her family did not want her to marry.

On New Year's Eve 2006 her father took her to her grandmother's house and tried to make her drink a bottle of brandy but, realising he was going to try to kill her, she smashed a window and escaped.

In hospital, she recorded her fears on video - later used to convict her murderers. The police officer who originally interviewed Miss Mahmod about what happened, dismissed her account as fantasy and wanted to charge her with criminal damage for breaking the window.

Four Arrested in Iraq 'honor killing'

The case highlights the tragedy and brutality of honor killings - where family members kill relatives, almost always female, because they feel the relatives' actions have shamed the family. In this case, Dua Khalil, a 17-year-old Kurdish girl whose religion is Yazidi, was dragged into a crowd in a headlock with police looking on and kicked, beaten and stoned to death last month.

"The climate, the religious and social climate is such that people can do that in daylight and that authorities do not intervene," said the spokeswoman for the Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq, Houzan Mahmoud.

Each year, dozens of honor killings are reported in Iraq and thousands are being reported worldwide, said the United Nations. DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR UNREPORTED INCIDENTS.

Is it a sign? Two images of Jesus show up on a Tree and a Pizza Tray

And now two more images of Jesus have emerged in the U.S, six weeks before Easter.

Visions: An image of Jesus and Mary was spotted on a pizza tray in Massachusetts, left, while another was seen carved into a tree in Virginia. While the Norton family, of Mclean, Virginia, say they noticed an image of Jesus carved into a tree in their front yard, right where a branch once was. Mr Mather was sorting through some kitchen equipment in his garage when he noticed the distinctive markings burnt onto the tray.

He says the vision has changed his life and inspired him to go to church for the first time in 20 years. 'I don't know how to say it happened or if it will ever be explained,' he added.

This is not the first time that images of religious icons have shown up on trees and, oddly enough, pizza pans. In 2003 thousands of people made their way to a tree stump in Passaic, New Jersey, after some thought it had taken the form of the Virgin Mary. Tsunami hits Japan after Massive Quake

BBC News reports: "The most powerful earthquake to hit Japan since records began has hit the country's north-east and triggered a devastating tsunami. Japanese TV showed cars, ships and buildings swept away by a vast wall of water after the 8.9-magnitude quake.

At least 40 people have been killed by the quake, which struck about 400km (250 miles) north-east of Tokyo. The region has been rocked by a number of powerful aftershocks. The tremor, measured at 8.9 by the US Geological Survey, hit at 1446 local time (0546 GMT) at a depth of about 24km.

A tsunami warning was extended across the Pacific to North and South America.

Magnitude 6.6 Quake Hits Papua New Guinea

A strong earthquake has hit northeastern Papua New Guinea, but there are no immediate reports of damage. The U.S. Geological Survey says the preliminary magnitude of the Thursday morning quake was 6.6.

There is a Message of HOPE for the WORLD!

Even though everything we have discussed and shown thus far seems to depict a tragic and fateful end for our world, that is actually NOT THE CASE! The state of humanity's existence does not end in chaos or complete destruction at this time. Nor will these events leave the whole world in a panicked state of confusion, always to be frustrated in futile attempts trying to achieve a Utopian existence. The "Great Tribulation" period is only for a few short years and is merely a transitional period at end of an age. A NEW AGE IS COMING immediately thereafter!

"...SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT TROUBLED; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6 NKJ)

"All these are the beginning of birth pains [sorrows]." (Matthew 24:8 NIV-KJV)

This is probably the most accurate representation of the entire "Great Tribulation" event. "Birth pains" are very discomforting and often quite painful. A new birth involves "labor" which is an extremely strenuous and exhausting process (ask any woman who has endured this). The end result however, is "relief" from this labor and suffering because a "new life" is then born!

That is exactly what will transpire in this world. We are in the final chapter of an old and worn out age of civilization. A grand and glorious new age lies directly ahead for those of us that endure and have accepted the Lord God.

"These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
(Revelation 7:14-17 NIV)

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF ALL THESE PROPHECIES

Therefore, these sometimes frightening words of prophecy are really a harbinger of hope to those who are searching for God today. It is through the belief that Christ died for our sins (John 3:16) and faith in His second coming (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18), that we are all "saved" and will enter into the coming Kingdom of Heaven along with Him.

"For the grace of God has appeared that offers SALVATION TO ALL PEOPLE. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:11–13 NIV)

"He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (Revelation 22:20-21)
