Biography of Shyam Saran Negi :- shyam Saran Negi is a retired school teacher from Kalpa,earlier known to Chini.He was a primary school teacher.He was retired in 1975.He had ten issues.Among those ten,nine are living.He has four sons and five daughters.He lost his one son.He has one son who works as bank-manager.Uma Devi,his daughter-in-law, is the president of Kalpa Panchayat.

Epic Details of Shyam Saran Negi :- Shyam Saran Negi ,the super hit hero lives at Kalpa,is a voter from Kalpa.He is if booth no 50-II.This is because the bifurcation of Kalpa polling station due to increase number of voters.Shyam Saran bears the serial no 123 or one two three at the station.His father is Konchok Chhering.The house no as recorded in the polling station is 38(1).

First casting in 1951 :- Shyam Saran Negi says that the first Loksabha election in independent India was held in February ,1952 .But eventually it was decided by the election commission that the in Himachal Pradesh was to be held earler than the elections in other parts of India as there was heavy snowfall,rain at the time of February.Thus October was fixed for election in 1951 .Mandi-Mahasu parliamentary constituency was a double seat constituency. Shyam Saran Negi was welcomed with great accommodation, arrangement .His arrival was welcomed like a king’s arrival. He is not a hero, he is not Narendra Modi,He is not Sonia Gandhi,He is not Pranab Mukherjee.He is Shyam Saran Negi,He is the first voter in independent India.This 97 year old strong man is yet young enough in mind to cast his opinion in voting process.He cast his vote for next generation.He has future in mind as he had when he cast his vote for first time.At that time he was 34 .Deputy commissioner of Kinnaur DD Sharma honored Negi and his wife,Hira Mani by giving them a garland and a shawl. He added to say Negi has never forgotten to cast his vote .Drums were being beat,all officials came to receive him outside the polling station.The place was decorated.It was like a fair was going on.

Google has released a 2.35 minutes video clip where Mr Shyam Saran Negi is remembering his experience in the election in 1951 when he cast hist vote at first to become the first Indian voter.When Shyam Negi is expressing his words and emotion passionbately it hurts our hearts emotionally.We find some great pleasure waching his experience in his own words.Really Google has made a tremendous job both for attributing the honour to the first man of Indian democracy to cast vote and campaigning a mass-awakening to cast vote in the mouth of the first Indian voter.His feelings,emotions as expressed in the video is really a great matter to move the heart.
