ALL VOTERS! STOP! LOOK! AND LISTEN; THEN VOTE!

Political View from the Underclass

ALL VOTERS! STOP! LOOK! AND LISTEN; THEN VOTE!

I don’t know, maybe I didn’t see and hear what I think I saw and heard the last few years. I think I heard the Majority leader of the Senate say his #1 priority is to make President Obama a one term President. I didn’t hear all Republican law makers make such a statement. In fact I didn’t hear any other Republican law maker make a statement so profoundly revealing. I did see Republican law maker’s actions that spoke louder than words. I heard Tea Party Conservatives who now represents The Grand Old Party say,” We want our Country back”. I saw and heard the same Republican law makers who supported two unfunded military actions which caused the debt crisis they declared in 2010 say, “We cannot continue to spend more than we take in anymore”. I heard Tea Party members parrot the simple and unrealistic comparisons spoken on Radio and TV, comparing citizen’s personal economy to the economy of the United State Government. That comparison of government and citizen economics was and is ridiculous, but if you wish to mislead the uneducated you must keep it simple. I believe the majority of the voters never studied civics 101; I don’t think it is even taught in middle or high schools anymore. There are those who know the Governments biggest source of income is and has always been taxes. If taxes were collected during this decade of war, the national debt would be much less and the military conflicts would have not lasted this long. The debt crisis was created by the same people who wanted to make President Obama a one term President. The Republicans inherited an economic surplus from the last Democratic President. After two unfunded wars, an unfunded drug program that benefited the drug industry and a bailout of Wall Street, President Obama and the Democratic Party were accused of mismanagement of the economy in his second year in Office.

In the last Seven years the Republican Party has done all they could to erase from the minds of the voters how we got to where we are economically. Even though there is no doubt that they were at fault when they had control of the White House, somehow they have been able to convince voters that the problems now is the President fault. About 3 ½ years into President Obama’s Presidency, the Republicans were controlling the White House by control of Congress and the Senate. The uneducated and uninformed voters don’t understand how this Government works but many claim an understanding of the Constitution of the United States. In the last few years I saw and heard a lot of “First”. I saw and heard for the first time the President of the United States called a LIAR during a State of The Union Address. I saw and heard for the first time in America’s the history, the debt ceiling was not allowed to be raised against the will of a sitting President. I saw and heard for the first time in America’s history, America’s credit rating allowed to be down rated. I saw and heard for the first time in America’s history members of one of the two major political parties totally and without exception vote against what the President Propose, even if it was originally their proposals. Never before have I seen so much disrespect for a President and the Presidency of the United States. It is not like the President is not doing all he can do for the good of the Nation. It is not that the President caused the problems; it is just that the Conservatives don’t want him to solve the problems; they just want him to be blamed for the problems. The Conservatives have convinced the uneducated and ill-informed that Big Government is the problem and Big Business is the solution.

Tea Party Republicans, many who don’t understand how much their quality of life is depended on the Federal, State, and local Governments, (with the Federal Government being their biggest life line) support big business and the private sector tax cuts. They don’t know they are biting the hand that feeds them when they support decreased social spending and tax cuts for the rich and powerful. The payment of their healthcare and retirement depends on taxes collected. Big Business and the private sector could care less if you are Democrat or Republican, or if you are Conservative or Liberal. All that the private sector cares about is profit, not socialism.

I hope that after all I’ve seen and heard concerning the first President which had so many precedents (First Times) that he got a second term and the American people can really get their Country back from the Carpet Bagger Capitalists. If not, like it or not, America will be unrecognizable to the haves and have nots. Even if the Hillary is elected she will be faced with a dismantled scorched earth policy being acted on by Republican Governors Nationwide at this time. Stop, look, and listen, than vote in November 2016.
