Butter Comes to Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, November 13, 2016. Our dear friend, Butter, has asked for the pleasure of our company at the breakfast table this morning She has some thoughts about the last eight years and the past few days that she would love to share with us. She is preparing buttery waffles and lattes for our pleasure. Let's join Butter as soon as possible. The lattes are hot and the door is open.

A Nation at Odds

Thank you all for coming to the table this morning. Our nation has experienced an epic turn of events. The Clintons fully expected to be back in the White House in January. After all, they were the anointed ones. They were above the law, above consequences and above accountability. Everyone was in their corner, or so it seemed. President Obama pushed for her election, not out of love for our country, but out of love for his legacy. I have never been sure what his legacy might look like, because the only thing I can see is that he managed to dismantle our nation and tear us apart. He and his people were pushing for a Civil War from the moment they stepped into Washington. He and Hillary kept pointing out how un-presidential Trump was. I wonder, is it presidential to return the bust of Winston Churchill to our English ally in order to please you father? Is it presidential to invite the Prime Minister of Israel to the White House and leave him floundering while you left to have dinner with your family? Is it presidential to invite the Dali Lama to the White House and make him enter by the rear door where the trash cans are stacked? None of these actions are presidential. All of them are unbelievably rude and low rent. Our nation has been divided for the last eight years because certain people like President Obama, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Valerie Jarrett, George Soros and the entire Democratic Party wanted it that way. Let's not forget the toxic role the MSM played in all of this. With chaos comes change. The change it brought encouraged violence, hatred for the police and contempt for the rule of law. I believe their efforts have been foiled by the American people. By electing Donald Trump president we have begun to drain the swamp. The American Revolution is in play. and it spells better times for our country and our people.

Fanning the Flames

It is time for President Obama to take responsibility for what he has unleashed in the streets. There is a major difference between peaceful protests and violence. His silence is inexcusable. He spent the last eight years speaking out when he shouldn't have. Now it is time to ask for calm. It is also time to start arresting these thugs who are being paid to tear up the streets. There are many forces at work here. Funding for these losers is coming from George Soros, Michael Moore, Al Sharpton and a left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money . The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt organization whose stated mission is to provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities. It might be a good idea to investigate this dubious group at the same time as the Clinton Foundation. The elements in our nation that feed off of division have to be marginalized in the Trump years. We don't have time for this garbage, we have lots of work to do.

Snap Out of It!

Those who have chosen to react to this election by having nervous breakdowns don't have my sympathy. Facebook is a flurry of activity with people de-friending each other by the millions. Take heart Facebook friends, none of these people were really interested in you, and you certainly weren't friends. As for the cry babies on campus, I have no pity for you either. You may have the academic ability to attend colleges and universities, but many of you have the emotional growth of infants in daycare. Schools that encourage students to hold cry-ins, skip midterms and walk around with service dogs are an embarrassment to this nation. Your candidate lost, now grow up and move on. A word to the wise as well, this kind of stupidity will never land you a job in the real world. It might be wise to avoid having your photograph taken while wailing like a baby. It may come back to haunt you in the future. You bear no resemblance to the thousands of young soldiers your age who stormed the beach at Normandy in order to keep the world free. That swamp President Elect Trump wants to clean out is much bigger than Washington. He will probably need more equipment!

Butter's Song

This land is your land

This land is my land

Now simmer down

And look forward to a new dawn!
