An Australian Student Is Murdered By Three Black Teens –So Far No Outrage From Reverend Al Sharpton Or The NAACP…
On a typical Oklahoman day, Chris Lane, an Australian student, who came to the Sooner State on a Baseball scholarship, was jogging to his girlfriend’s home when he was allegedly, brutally gunned down by three Black teenagers who were apparently bored. Let us supposed that this Australian was murdered for the very fact that he was White, albeit, rank conjecture on my part… are we to expect White folks to be up in arms rightly so like how we were for Trayvon Martin or should we all - included Blacks - be irate and disgusted for the senseless murder of this student? Incidentally, where are the race hustlers … you know those whose moral appellations always precede their respective names like Reverend Al Sharpton or the Reverend Jesse Jackson….
Once again, I thank Christ Jesus for enabling me to look at the issues that affect us all through the objective prism of Christianity… whereby the ‘truth’ is not relative nor does it walk in lockstep with the malignant cancerous, biased dogma currently holding sway and known as Political Correctness. Now, If most of us, including the Media, were not looking at issues, especially those that are deemed racial, through this lying prism of Political Correctness, we would feel the same way about Mr. Chris Lane’s murder like we did for Trayvon Martin and the reportage would reflect this objective take from all of us… but the racial tit-for-tat scenario is how we have degenerated in America… almost akin to the Balkanization we have seen in places like Serbia and the like that have seen a more formal, racial strife/bloodletting in the form of ethnic cleansings.
Let me underscore how silly Political Correctness… concerning race has become… a few years ago, right here in New York, there were local news stations that deliberately would not report what was the race of those suspected of committing crimes in the Big Apple, especially if they were Minorities. It is a truism that I do not want all Australians or Whites to look at all Blacks, in light of the killing of the Aussie student, and judge us all collectively for the acts of those three Black teenagers who allegedly perpetrated the murder of Mr. Lane.
One of the questions that is nagging me or anyone who is objective is where are the celebrities and their vainglorious tweets for Mr. Lane’s murder like we saw for Trayvon Martin? In the same objective, Christian vein, If our so called Civil Rights leaders and organizations like the NAACP would just for once genuinely reach out to both sides on the racial divide… the chasm would not be so wide. It is true that I do not know if the Reverends have opined on the death of Mr. Lane or if any of the Black organizations have reached out to the victim’s family - but knowing the players… I doubt it.
The racial hustlers, who now make a mint out of racial issues have liberally borrowed from David Bowie’s ‘Cat People’s song… where the Thin-White-Duke (Bowie) once sang,… “Putting out fire with Gasoline…” and this is what they do and are doing by exasperating the racial issues, which, most times, are legitimate… but not for the actual victims or the surviving loved ones - but only for themselves. I supposed the reason why many of our Civil Rights leaders do not want to resolve the racial divide… and could start to by reaching out to Mr. Lane’s parents, is akin to the Roman/Jewish undertakers, doctors, local bakers, and magicians hating on the Christ on account of the miracles the Lord was doing because it was bad for those respective businesses.
Years ago, one of my brothers and I had this spirited debate about the Pharmaceutical companies not wanting to find a cure for the common Cold or Aids because it was not as lucrative to find cures… unlike it would be or has been to provide an assortment of costly medicines to palliate what ails us. As long as there is money to be had - and a lot of it - we are not going to hear the outrage we heard when Trayvon Martin was gunned down… perhaps, among the three Black teenagers, we could find one of them that has White blood in him so that we could justify not saying that the killing was Black on White... you know like how we conveniently forget that George Zimmerman was Hispanic - I say Hispanic knowing that he is only one half of that heritage... again, see and note the dishonesty because we see President Obama, whose mother was White and father was Black, but yet we designate President Obama as our first African American President.
To Mr. Lane’s parents, and, on behalf of these United States… our condolences… hoping that you find justice for your beloved son’s murder outside the prism of racial animus, even though that your son just might have been killed simply for being White. I hope that your son, Chris Lane, is resting in Christ Jesus’ Peace.
