If you haven't - It has been slowly going on in the background of the world scene for some time now. Piece by piece, one little law here or there, along with a couple of unchallenged supreme court decisions over a period of time, whereas now the rights of the liberal extremists far outweigh the tolerance being shown for those few members of the masses that are left in the conservative minority. Instead, we are being ultimately controlled by private political agendas which support worldwide corporate conglomerates and the lust for power and domination that has been orchestrated by the few global elite, and thus "walla"...

There you have it - that is our reality today!

What is then left of the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Those inalienable doctrines and principles that our forefathers and country's founders fought so hard to ensure for all future generations. In the same simple stroke of a pen that chiseled these original freedoms and liberties into place (for what we thought would last forever), which are now being hacked away in the same manner; but with the opposite effect and on such a scale that it will now impact billions of lives (instead of only a few hundred thousands), since the populations concerned have grown to the insurmountable size that they have over the last couple of centuries.

If the people that originally drafted these rights could have seen what is going on today, would they have put in place a better system of checks and balances in order to guarantee the longevity of these principles?

NO - I think not... Because the problem is NOT the system that was put in place, being based on a belief in the God of righteousness and in striving to uphold the highest of moral standards. It is because of the condition of the world in which we now inhabit and fight for survival in, along with the deteriorating state of being that humanity itself in general has succumb to on a global scale.

Truly these factors are sure indicators of the times in which we live, especially when prophetically looking at what the "Word of God" can tell us and what it has predicted for thousands of years.

Before we continue, I would also like to address some recent issues of a more intimate nature that likewise affects us all.

I am also writing to inform everyone that we are having to remove some of our articles from the HubPages site as they have been deemed as "inappropriate." I do not know if anyone else has had any difficulty with the changes they've made in their software over the last several weeks, but we have had many of our works automatically "unpublished" citing various reasons - everything from "duplicate content" warnings (though the material was predominantly original) to "material is not relevant to the subject's topic", and after having edited and re-publishing these writings many times over (only to have them kicked back again with other "issues"), we have even had some articles "irrevocably removed" for deletion.

In particular, this has occurred with many of our articles in the ongoing "END TIMES REPORTS" series - "7 Minutes to Midnight - The Prophetic World Clock", that we have been publishing regularly on a weekly basis. It has finally been suggested to us that this material is not suitable for this venue and was recommended that we simply remove such and re-publish it elsewhere on a Blog or other location (which we have now done). *NOTE - We do not understand why the subject of Biblical Prophecy and attempting to lead people to salvation through Jesus Christ is "inappropriate" to a "Christian" category of topics? Especially when approaching these matters without intention of alienation or flagrant disagreement with other views, but by instead displaying the love of our Lord God and teachings of Jesus Christ the Messiah.

Since these particular articles seem to be under scrutiny of CENSORSHIP, we have been forced to move copies of this series and any upcoming successive publications of this nature to our newly revised website and BLOG:

"Lady Liberty" is represented by the statue of similar name that we are all familiar with as an icon for the United States of America. She has been proudly displayed for many decades and has become a symbol for freedom and liberty worldwide. In recent years however, the principles that she stands for have been eroded by the effects of various trends and a shift in the overall mindset of the world at large. She's been chastised over the years, slowly tainted and periodically beaten down, to where she now has apparently been kidnapped and without even a ransom being asked for her return.

And why should these perpretators even ask anything for their hostage? Her perceived value has diminished to such a degree, that it seems that she is not even worth the copper she is made of anymore. The kidnappers are more apt to merely melt her down and then sell off the remains as scrap metal on the open market.

Besides, her benefactors seem so distracted by their own dismal state of affairs and personal problems, that many have not even noticed that she is missing yet. Additionally, those that have realized the dilemma and crisis that we are actually in, have also come to the understanding and conclusion that we cannot afford to bail her out now if we wanted to.

But of course, even as bankrupt as we are - we could always print more money to save her! This would of course be readily done, if it were not for the fact that many of the ones in a position that could actually make a difference, are ethically and morally bankrupt as well.

"BIG BROTHER" IN PLACE WITH OUR NORTHERN NEIGHBOR

Alberta’s Dangerous Database

The province is quietly putting together a database for police that is every bit as dangerous to citizens’ liberties as giving police the unwarranted right to destroy private property. The project is called, rather ominously, TALON - as in The Alberta Law Officers’ Network - and it will, according to the solicitor general’s department, allow police quick access to information about ‘persons of interest.’

The trouble is, TALON is designed to keep track not just of Albertans’ criminal records, but also, according to the Calgary Herald, any ‘speculations, unproven allegations, investigation theories, details of 911 calls - virtually any record of a citizen’s contacts with the police’ anywhere in the province.

Their firearms registry goes much deeper, including not only what guns a person owns, but also his or her financial circumstances, personal romantic relationships and any history with mental illness. But databasing unproven allegations, 911 calls and ‘theories’ appears to be new territory. The average citizen stopped by an officer can be compelled to volunteer a lot of information that could, quite conceivably, find its way into the database.

TBN Censorship of Regular Program: "Jack Van Impe Presents"

Viewers were upset when they tuned into TBN on Wednesday June 11, expecting to see the regular ministry program dealing with biblical prophecy and churches that have lost their way, with recent mention of four well known religious leaders that are promoting "Chrislam" – a uniting of Christianity with the Islamic faith.

Matt Crouch of TBN informed (JVIM) Jack Van Impe Ministries that they would not run the program. The reason he gave was that JVIM specifically mentioned Rick Warren and Robert Schuller and that it is TBN’s policy that broadcasters are not allowed to rebuke other ministries. This is a rather hypocritical statement in light of the fact that they have never said anything in the past when JVIM had rebuked others such as Bishop Spong, Bishop Pike, and in the past few months Harold Camping and Rob Bell.

Jack Van Impe stated, he Will "Not Be Silenced!", and further said "I will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach. When I see heretical teaching leading to apostasy, I will speak out."

Dr. Van Impe points out that the Bible says (his emphasis):

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..." (II Timothy 3:16).

The Apostle Paul also gives the instruction (as Van Impe emphasizes):

"Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers... Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake... Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith". (Titus 1:9–11,13)

JVIM immediately called their Media Agents and told them that they no longer wanted to air their program on (TBN) the Trinity Broadcasting Network: "We will take the tremendous amount of money that we were spending there, to obtain new stations that will allow us to continue to reach every square mile of America with the truths of the Bible without this network."

China's Underground Christians Fear Increasing Crackdown

Beijing, China (CNN) - A woman named Shouwang (only her first name was given out of fear) has reported that Chinese authorities ordered the church she attended to cease all activity until further notice. The Chinese government has stated that it operates unlawfully. To be recognized, the church must register to be a state-sanctioned operation, which includes censoring of certain religious materials.

The government mandate has been more heavily enforced recently in the midst of a current crackdown on dissidents, activists and lawyers across China, as the government fears a revolt that mirrors the unrest across the Arab world.

China and U.S. Spar Over Internet Censorship

(Reuters) - China hit back at U.S. criticism of Internet censorship and hacking on Friday, warning that relations between the two global heavyweights were being hurt by a feud centered on web giant Google.

KEEPING RELATIONS STABLE

China's spokesman also indicated that his government did not want to see the dispute overwhelm cooperation with the Obama administration, which has sought Beijing's help in reviving the world economy and in diplomatic standoffs, such as the nuclear ambitions of Iran and North Korea.

China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu, said each side should "appropriately handle rifts and sensitive issues, protecting the healthy and stable development of China-U.S. relations."

U.S. House Passes Cybersecurity Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved a cybersecurity bill that calls for beefing up training, research, and coordination so the government can be better prepared to deal with cyberattacks.

It also creates cybersecurity scholarship programs for college students and research centers, and asks NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) to boost development of identity management systems ((National ID system and the "chip")) used to control access to buildings, computer networks, and data.

"This bill will help improve the security of cyberspace by ensuring federal investments in cybersecurity are better focused, more effective, and that research into innovative, transformative security technologies (TO CONTROL OVER THE MASSES AT LARGE) is fully supported," said Symantec CTO Mark Bregman.

WikiLeaks Shutdown Calls Spark Censorship Row

France joins calls for WikiLeaks to be taken offline as liberal activists raise comparisons with China's Google censorship.

WikiLeaks went offline for the third time in a week - The US opened new fronts in its fight against WikiLeaks today as civil rights groups accused the authorities of censorship. The whistleblower's website went offline for the third time in a week this morning – the biggest threat to its online presence so far. The site re-emerged later on a Swiss domain. Then France joined international calls for WikiLeaks to be closed down, warning that it was "unacceptable" for a "criminal" site to be hosted in their country.

The moves came only days after Amazon pulled the WikiLeaks site from its servers after political pressure from Joe Lieberman, chairman of the Senate homeland security committee. The issue is fast turning into a row over freedom of speech, as Democratic and Republican politicians joined calls for action against WikiLeaks, including emergency legislation for legal challenge.

Leslie Phillips, communications director for the Senate homeland security committee, disputed any parallel with China's censorship of the internet. "It is not at all the same," she said. " In China, there is a fiat from above." Lieberman and other senators are to introduce legislation that they have named the "SHILED ACT" (under the Dept. of Homeland Security's infinite powers) that would allow the administration to go after WikiLeaks (and ANY OTHERS that may pose a "threat" to them).

U.S. Internet Censorship Fight Falling Short

(AFP) - WASHINGTON — State Department efforts to combat Internet censorship in China and other countries have fallen short and funding for the drive should be shifted to another U.S. agency, a Senate committee report says. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee report sharply criticizes the State Department for being slow in spending money allocated by Congress for Internet Censorship Circumvention Technology (ICCT).

The report also called for the U.S. government to increase its public diplomacy efforts to counter China’s ‘vigorous’ moves on the outreach front.

Internet Filters Set Off Protests Around Turkey

ISTANBUL — Thousands of people in more than 30 cities around Turkey took to the streets on Sunday to protest a new system of filtering the Internet that opponents consider censorship.

The Information and Communications Technologies Authority, known by its Turkish initials as B.T.K., is going to require Internet service providers to offer consumers four choices for filtering the Internet that would limit access to many sites, beginning in August.

Thousands of protesters in Taksim Square, who were organized through a Facebook page, chanted, "Yes, we ban!" In Ankara, the capital, people cheered, "The Internet is ours and will remain ours!" For many people in Turkey, having to select a filtering option is just another form of censorship. Already thousands of Web sites are blocked by the state, mostly without any publicized reason.

The most controversial act of Internet censorship in Turkey, so far, was against YouTube, which was blocked in 2007 after the posting of a video that was deemed insulting to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. Insulting Ataturk is a criminal offense in Turkey.

U.S. Pentagon to Treat Cyber-attacks As 'Acts of War'

The U.S. is set to publish plans that will categorise cyber-attacks as ACTS OF WAR, the Pentagon says. The planning was given added urgency by a cyber-attack last month on the defence contractor, Lockheed Martin. A new report from the Pentagon is due out in a matter of weeks.

Cyber-attacks from foreign nations that threaten widespread U.S. civilian casualties, like cutting off power supplies or shutting down emergency-responder networks, could be treated as an act of aggression under the new policy.

But the plan does not mention how the U.S. may respond to cyber-attackers, such as terrorists, who are not acting for a nation state. The U.S. would "respond to hostile acts in cyberspace as we would to any other threat to our country", stated the White House in plain terms.

"We reserve the right to use ALL NECESSARY MEANS - diplomatic, informational, military, and economic - as appropriate and consistent with applicable international law, in order to defend our nation, our allies, our partners and our interests."

Anonymous: Wikileaks Censorship Will Trigger 'Operation Malaysia'

An attempt to censor Wikileaks, which was considered to be a crucial whistle-blower medium has now forced the Malaysian government to pay a hefty price. Hacker group, Anonymous, in a bid to ‘teach them a lesson’ have threatened the government that continuation of the censorship on Wikileaks would lead them to ravaging the Malaysian government’s official website, and begin ‘Operation Malaysia’.

In the wake of the threat, the Malaysian government has increased the security manifold, and has vowed to delve into the depth of the matter. Further elaborating on their intentions, Anonymous posted that off late the Malaysian government has been going down quite fiercely on the internet freedom given to its citizens. The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has been imposing censorship on films and television shows, and has also added several snips to the functioning of file-sharing websites, and has been prosecuting bloggers. These moves have supposedly invited the ire of the hacking group, as they believe it to be going against the very ideology of human rights.

Free Speech and the Internet

As the United Nations has said, access to the Internet is a human right. A report by the U.N.’s special rapporteur presented last month to the Human Rights Council in Geneva warns that this right is being threatened by governments around the world — democracies included.

The main concern is about oppressive regimes trying to squash political dissent — like China, which jails bloggers, blocks Web sites and filters the Internet to eradicate words, including "democracy," from the conversation.

The report also warned against overzealous attempts by democratic states to control or censor online communications. Brazil’s Congress is debating legislation that would require Internet service providers to keep a log of customers’ online activity for three years, which authorities could access without a court order to pursue crimes such as calumny (defamation of character, vilification, traducement or slander).

The French and British parliaments have passed draconian laws that would ban users from the Internet for illegally downloading copyrighted material. The United States Senate is considering an intellectual property bill that would allow the government or private businesses to take action against a potentially large array of Web sites for "facilitating" piracy, in an excessively broad definition of the term *(This opens the door for an extremely liberal interpretation of these regulations and ultimately can bypass the user's constitutional rights).

If you haven't read the "Terms and Conditions" policies from MOST internet providers and services, please do. You will get the idea of what can potentially snowball into an unmitigated wave of censorship at any given time. The language in these policies is written so vague and arbitrarily, that it basically gives the service that you subscribe to the right to temporarily exclude you from service, remove or delete your personal material, and even to restrict you from ever using their service again.

Recently this year, one of our own user accounts on Yahoo was "banned" for commenting (even in a politically correct manner) on the "Yahoo Answers" Forums under the "Christian" category, for answering the obvious response to someone that questioned: "Can you be a member of a Christian Church that does NOT acknowledge Christ?" How do you think most people answered? (CHRISTianity - "Christ" = What?)

My writings tend to be scripturally outspoken however, while perhaps even being a bit unconventional in their approach at times and this does tend to make some waves and "ruffle a few feathers". In this particular case, we also mentioned the "Church of Latter Day Saints" (Mormons) and the Watchtower Society's "Jehovah's Witnesses", as examples of "Christian" denominations (or splinter groups) that DO NOT view the more common beliefs about Jesus Christ, the Son of God and true Messiah, in the same manner as the rest of the "Christian" faith.

Therefore, the liberally written language and intentional lack of precise definition in the "Terms and Conditions" policy at Yahoo, resulted in that particular account ultimately being "banned" without any true cause other than "we felt like it", and without any real recourse for a dispute and possible reinstatement (fortunately that account was only an "alias" and we were able to get up and running again - however all material in the original account had been DELETED).

No other explanation was given except to refer back to their Terms of Service Agreement and the Community Guidelines Policy... mmmm (I guess that is subject to interpretation about what is "acceptable content" or not, BUT bottom line is - THEY get the final call on it all).

All that having been said...

Thank the good Lord God that we still, in spite of it all, are able to continue enjoying these freedoms and liberties on this day of rejoicing (at least in the United States for now). Many people think that we still have not gone past the "brink of no return", but the indicators are there in the world that seem to tell us otherwise (especially in accordance with what the Word of God can tell us in prophecy). None-the-less, many of us are still blessed by holding true to the correct values and will continue to be fortunately shielded by the "Hand of God" in our lives.

Other parts of the world however, are so much less fortunate and are being brutalized under systems that not only defy compassion, but lack any resemblance to human decency whatsoever. Still other places on the current "world scene", are likewise slipping into darkness under the disguise of "democratic revolution" and are soon to become their own victims of the very rights that they are dying for.

We must continue to fervently pray on a daily and regular basis, not only for our own protection, but for all those who are suffering, the victims of these atrocities in the world - as well as the salvation for the souls of the lost and confused, and for the "shortening of days" before our Lord's imminent return and "Surely He comes quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Revelation 22:20).

Celebrate YOUR FREEDOM in the Lord Jesus Christ with every breath that you take!
