Are Syrian people human being?

Updated on January 22, 2013

Syrian Kid asks for Freedom

I know it is a strange question, but I really need an answer.

Every day, I am shocked by hearing many scenarios of killing, punishing, imprisoning & torturing Syrian people when I watch news.

For About three months, this increases gradually.

I ask myself, is it really a matter of terrorism as some media express or it is a people revolution?

Is Hamza Ali al-Khateeb, 13 years kid was killed & tortured by Syrian security forces, a terrorist?
Are terrorists going in street (freehanded) & ask for Democracy?

Does Syria have all these terrorists suddenly?

Is asking, for freedom & justice, a crime in this world?

Is it right to ask for freedom?

Is it fair to keep silent & enjoy while others are being killed day & night?

Do we really live in 21st Century?

Do we have UN?

Do Syrian people worth this bloody reaction?

Who governs Syria now?

How many people should die until someone shouting firmly (Stop, no more blood) ?

Do you think Syrian people are human being?

If yes, what is happening?

They are suffering for just saying “Freedom”.

They miss the food for their kids.

They are being hunted like birds.

They are crying blood not tears.

Their kids are ding instead of playing.

Their crops are burned instead of reaped.

Their souls are searching for peace between the dead.

I still believe they are human being.

Their kids have the right to find their parents beside them.

No more blood, no more blood, we are all worth to survive.

No more tears & pain.

No more ignorance, no more silence.

We all are human being.

What do you think?

Do you think what is happening in Syria is:

      @ Paul

Thank you for your kind intention to follow the events in Syria, this show how we as human being could feel the pain of each other.

I think, nowadays, many dictators use the word "Terrorists" to satisfy their unlimited greed. Anyway at last people win & they lose.

By the way, mostly hundred thousand Syrian have been killed as of today, & my young cousin is one of them, my father home has half destroyed .. etc. But we still have Strong BELIEVE that will get the real terrorist out of our very peaceful country.

Thanks for commenting, voting & sharing.

Hope All the best for you & All USA people who think twice before give judgment about anything.

Taleb......The terror and bloodshed, torture and killing of human beings is truly egregious and unbearable for any other human to witness, or to simply be aware of.

I have deep feelings and serious concerns for what is occurring, daily...for far too long now...and I repeatedly ask myself.....Why? What is this really all about? How does so much evil and hatred live in the hearts of cruel leaders and terrorists? I cannot understand and I am certainly not of the power to stop it.

WHO do you believe should step in...what forces do you think will end these atrocities, once and for all? It is maddening to see nothing being one knowing what to do or having the degree of power to simply cease these insane cold-blooded murders.

So, Taleb...because YOU are Syrian, your family....your country is being destroyed....I want to know what YOU think....what would you wish to happen? To me....this is beyond tragic and I feel your pain. I feel helpless, just as most ordinary people do. Is it power? greed? Politics? religion? Ignorance? Yes, Taleb, Syrians are human beings and ALL life is precious and all humans have the right and need for freedom and peaceful existence....the walls of cruelty and oppression must be torn down, where ever they exist.

This is a very interesting hub and I'm glad to have read it. The Syrian people are of course human beings which everyone should recognize. I haven't been really following the events in Syria that closely, but I will from now on after having read this hub. Anyone demanding freedom is not a terrorist, but it's easy for a dictator to call them terrorists to put down their cry for freedom. Voted up and sharing with followers.

Actually, it is getting worse, today itself I heard that half of my father home has destroyed by the random shouting of Syrian regime.

By the way, I am a Syrian who his family has spread out in 7 different countries because of this situation.

Thanks for stopping by & comment.

Great Hub. It's unfortunate that you wrote this Hub 8 months ago and the situation in Syria is still going strong, if not getting worse.

This must be stopped at once. How can we as Human Beings just sit there and do nothing? While people are being murdered in the 10,000s? It is time for people to wake up because it really is a sick sick sick world that we live in.

I was appalled to hear what is happening in Syria - there are basic human rights we should all feel we have - freedom of speech, freedom of assembly (to protest) freedom to do what a person wishes if it does not harm others (even if other people think it is bad).

I sorry to say every day I miss the hope more & more.

When I see that huge funds & efforts are given to save some kinds of animals (It is good), while millions of people are being killed because of wars or dying because of starvations & diseases and most of us keep silent & focus on our own needs more & more.

      Sorry for making you sad.

I thank you for stopping by, comment and your kind feelings.

Hope all the best for you.

Very sad, but I'm glad you wrote this.

I don't understand the world we live in anymore.

My question is: will peace ever reign?

      God Bless you.

tunisia.. egypt... syria and libya all have the same problems and are facing the same atrocities... my prayers are equally with the people of syria as they are with my brothers and sisters in Libya... this is all caused by a handful of totalitarian dictators that have had complete control of these people for decades.. Time to stand and fight against these tyrants is come, Revolution is never clean nor easy... May Allah grant them peace and safety quickly.. Ameen.

The killing of a 13 year old child is wrong no matter what the reasoning. That is a sad day for mankind!
