When it comes to the issue of federalism, federal setup of government might be advantageous to the country if we have political maturity. By political maturity for me means that there is no vote buying during election. If ever there are expenses during elections, these must in ads and other political paraphernalia rather than vote buying. Vote buying signifies the subservience of a people, if the people are the backbone of democracy then they are the government because in a democratic system of government the power lies in the people. If we have no political maturity whatever form of government will always fail because the concern of those elected is to get back what they spent during election.
