Come Sit By Me A While : A Deep Set Anger For Low Lives !!!
Much as I love to write about the beauty of the world every now and again the dark side of man will raise its head and of course this side of life cannot be ignored.
Here is a status I posted to Facebook last night.
"I heard something today that made me so angry !!A certain person who lives locally (I wish I could name him) last weekend invited guests who were attending a nearby wedding to park on his property as long as they donated money which he was apparently going to pay into 'Help For Heroes' .He was afterwards known to brag... at how daft people were as he had had no intention of paying anything in and had just made a 'fast buck' of over £50 which went into his own pocket. When I think of how many of our soldiers have suffered fighting for their country and how many families have lost loved ones I am sickened by the lack of morals of some people ; disgusting vile scum is what I call him and any others like him."
He has been reported and investigations are on-going but whether anything will actually be proven I am not sure.
My partner Dai served in the forces for twelve years and this has really touched a nerve !!!!
Here is a passage from Prince Harry which signifies all that I feel.
"So many of our Servicemen and women have made the ultimate sacrifice; so many lives have been lost and so many changed forever by the wounds that they have suffered in the course of their duties. For these selfless people, it is after the guns have fallen silent, the din of battle quietened, that the real fight begins – a fight that may last for the rest of their lives."

Many brave souls
fight for their country
so gallant their deeds
so proud their kin.
Many brave soldiers
a life is lost
their bravery
remembered
but
at such a great cost.
Many are fatally injured;
Families hearts grieving
Sadness from losses incurred.
Our hearts swell
with united pride
a cross of love
by each side.
Each day they bravely
combat
forward they plough
each heart so proud
never a thought
so selfless
for their own safety
for others they
fight.
A Mother and father's loss
children grow up
never to know
never to see a parent;
a partner to mourn
a life cut short
a gallant heart
fighting for the love of their homelands.
Selfless their hearts
their fears cast aside;
on and on
their honour abide.
Bombs and guns
explode
in shattering precision
blood flows
our soldiers
surmounting bravery
a legend for
eternal creations
of gallant hearts.
Never ever forgotten;
In our hearts they stay
each one so honoured
each one so respected
each one a heart so true !!!
God Bless them all !!!
Then come the scavengers
the low lives
the scum
who like leeches feed from the bravery of others.
Spirits weak
cowards in abundance!!
Hearts so clod
characters so dark!!
To squirm through
the goodness laid by others
to lie
to steal
each cowardly heart
beating with a beat so feeble
lily livered
names to be stamped
into an oblivion
full of stagnant stench !!
The stench of
liars
cowards
with hearts and spirits
a mocking imitation of
of our brethren who give their lives
each day each month each year
for others!!
So we and our descendants
may have may have better lives .
These vile scum should all be named and shamed!!!
I end here now with a thought for us all.
If ever we hear of such wrongdoings ;if ever we suspect someone is making a fast buck off the backs of others ; if we now know of someone who has no morals at all ;no conscience ;no respect for the gallant deeds of others then do not hesitate to act ;stand up and make that call .Even if our findings come to nothing at least we will have tried.
This hub is different to my other ones but I'm afraid that there will always be scum to be shown up for what they are and myself and my partner feel strongly about this and sadly this will always be a part of life.
We have stood up and made that call as we have so much respect for those who have and are so selflessly fighting for their country.
