The Conspiracy

Quick Look at Incompetence or Deception

Let's take a quick look at some of these other discrepancies . . .

• Limited use of Radar recently installed in Hawaii.

• Important intercepts not relayed to the Commanders of the Fleet in Hawaii.

• No air patrols of the island in the days leading up to the attack.

• Airplanes conveniently parked in a tight circle in the middle of runways, ostensible to prevent sabotage, but severely limiting their use in an attack and assuring that one bomb would destroy many.

• All of the ships parked in such a manner as to allow maximum damage if attacked from the air.

• Anti-aircraft guns unmanned with ammunition stored in secure lockers away from the guns themselves.

• No torpedo nets or baffles installed.

• Central location of entire fleet within striking distance of enemy, while a more defensible position was the West Coast of America.

A Day That Would Live In Infamy

When Was Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, A Day That Will Live in Infamy! is dedicated to keeping an open mind and accepting the truth of a painful subject? Learning to keep an open mind on sometimes disturbing and painful subjects has served me well on my road to seeking the truth as well as exploring our past. Once I developed the principles of keeping an open mind and using critical thinking and began to practice them, I stopped believing in coincidence or luck. Coincidence is just God's way of remaining anonymous.

Today on A Date that will Live in Infamy, I reflect back on that day that many in my culture no longer perceive as being significant. Not one person today mentioned the significance of this day to me and yet I find it to be one of the most important in US history.

No matter what one believes to be true of that infamous day (December 7, 1941) in US history, one fact remains clear it propelled America into the bloodiest War our Nation has ever been involved in. That day affected more lives than any other day in our history and the Pearl Harbor Conspiracy deserves to be understood.

I have always believed deep in my gut that The Powers That Be in this Country allowed December 7, 1941, the Surprise Attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese Imperial Fleet to unfold and that they even conspired to create it. The parallels of that day to another in recent history (9/11) are to coincidental for me to believe anything else.

A Surprise Attack Indeed!

From Prescott Bush's secret funneling of money to the Nazi party to the bold statements of FDR's own cabinet, the truth to me is self evident and only requires an open mind and the ability to deride coincidence as nothing more than a cover up of the truth.

FDR's own inner circle knew the truth as is evident by this remark from Vice Admiral Frank M. Beatty aide to Secretary of the Navy Frank Knox

"Prior to December 7, it was evident even to me... that we were pushing Japan into a corner. I believed that it was the desire of President Roosevelt, and Prime Minister Churchill that we get into the war, as they felt the Allies could not win without us and all our efforts to cause the Germans to declare war on us failed; the conditions we imposed upon Japan—to get out of China, for example—were so severe that we knew that nation could not accept them. We were forcing her so severely that we could have known that she would react toward the United States. All her preparations in a military way—and we knew their over-all import—pointed that way."

To say that TPTB knew nothing and to claim ignorance is to insult our intelligence and make a mockery of what the common man is willing to believe. The Isolationist Movement in America at the time of the attack was popular among the working class and recent AP polls in November of 1941 had 75 to 80 percent of America against going to War with Germany. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the AP conducted polls among the same population centers and found that 60 percent of America believed Hitler and Germany were behind the attack on Hawaii even though Japan had carried it out.

This information alone fueled the Pearl Harbor Conspiracy from the beginning, a Day of Infamy Indeed!

We may never know for sure who knew what and when they knew it, but one thing is for sure there was absolutely no defense for allowing the attack to happen the way it did and many are negligent from the top down. This pattern of negligence and ignorance is eerily familiar to recent events in 2001 and in my opinion Not a Coincidence.

Claiming ignorance for negligence and incompetence is not an excuse for committing crimes, at least not in a US Court of Law. The amount of disinformation related to that day is appalling, even Wikipedia, usually a fairly objective source of information goes to great lengths to dispel what was known.

In their article Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy theory the author spends as much time disproving the theory as they do acknowledging it, perhaps they should have used the term Debunked at the end of the title. Since most of the important information that could either confirm or deny what was known remains classified only conjecture and theory rule the day seventy years later, this makes me wonder what they are hiding, When Was Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, A Day That Will Live in Infamy!, will explore the evidence regarding the vents that unfolded that day.

The most important fact that is often dismissed by debunkers is that the US fleet had been stationed on the West coast of America in the months leading up to the attack. Why did TPTB knowing full well of an impending attack or hostile actions by Japan, did they move the entire fleet thousands (3,500) of miles closer to Japan? The assertion is, of course that Naval Intelligence believed that Pearl Harbor was too shallow to allow for a successful torpedo attack.

This assertion is absurd and a clear indication of disinformation as their own ally Britain had shown that shallow water torpedo attacks could be successful at Regia Marina at Taranto on November 11, 1940.

Admiral James O. Richardson, who was fired by FDR earlier in the year for refusing to station the US Fleet at Hawaii early that year, proves that at least some high ranking officers had ominous misgivings about the decision. Even Admiral Knox mention above had serious concerns about such an attack and even wrote a paper describing such an event as very possible before taking office as Secretary of the Navy.

Another assertion that cast serious doubt on the whole scenario is the fact that not one Aircraft Carrier was in Pearl Harbor at the time. While many excuses are used for why this occurred, none are sufficiently explained to this author. The commonly held theory is that US Naval Intelligence simple did not consider Aircraft Carriers an important asset is to defy reason and again cast doubt on their credibility.

To imply that officers did not realize the importance of ship based attack planes is beyond absurd and almost laughable.

The greatest Battleship of the time the (Bismark) had been effectively disabled in May of that year by British (Swordfish) airplanes based from Destroyers. The Enterprise was due to arrive in Pearl Harbor, after conducting extensive training of its dive bombers, on December 6, 1941, but according to the US Navies own sources was delayed by weather (what weather)?, however that weather is not described. Again the Navy contends that it was to return to Pearl Harbor no later than the early morning (7:00 a.m.) of December 7, 1941, but was delayed again, no explanation is given for the delay.

This information only further clouds the issue on what was known, by whom and when did they know it created more doubt concerning the Pearl Harbor Conspiracy.

The other two Carriers were auspiciously in other parts of the Pacific and so unable to defend the Fleet. Also lending incredibility to Naval Intelligence is the fact that almost the entire US Naval fleet of submarines had been re-stationed from Pearl Harbor to the Orient in the months leading up to the attack, making the Fleet even more vulnerable to attack.

All of these coincidences show a deliberate attempt to make the US Fleet parked in Pearl Harbor, like ducks on a pond, a tempting target for aggressors. This and other failures cast serious doubt on those that would defend the gross incompetence as a reason that the US Fleet was surprised on the morning of December 7, 1941, and add doubt to the credibility of the these assertions.

Gross incompetence or a deliberate attempt to allow the greatest surprise attack in US History to be easily carried out, we may never know. However I have found that when one is attempting to discover the truth, one concept that remains true is that . . .

If there is any Doubt, There is No Doubt!

I have found that often humans are simple unaware of how their own instincts work. Remember instincts are feelings that are God given to help allow humans to survive often life threatening situations. Because we are not certain how these work or where our feelings are originating from, does not mean they are less credible.

Lies and deception are often revealed by these instincts and reason alone is not the all determining factor when attempting to discern the truth of the Pearl Harbor Conspiracy.

What I find to be eerily coincidental is that almost the same amount of people were killed in the World Trade Center attacks that were killed at Pearl Harbor.

Just as Bush recently was inclined to War, so also was FDR's disposition and both received exactly what was needed to guarantee public support. Hopefully this article When Was Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, A Day That Will Live in Infamy!, has shown that this surprise attack was exactly what the public needed to propel America into War.
