People better take him seriously when he says he's going to stay a little longer. If you don't, shame on you.

Is Trump planning on staying longer?

Trump had staying in office as long as possible on his mind this morning, tweeting that his supporters might demand he stay longer. Could this be because yesterday it was released that his poll number were not very good and that he is losing to Biden and Sanders as well as other candidates of the Democratic Party.

This is not the first time Trump has mentioned not leaving the White House should his term come to an end. After accepting an award, he told the crowd that he might remain for 10-14 years, then joked that he'd call it 6 years.

Another time, he hinted that he needed a do-over of two years that were stolen from him with Mueller Investigation. The one he calls a "witch hunt" or a coup attempt depending on the crowd or his mood.

He has even made comment about doing away with term limits and praised Chinese President (dictator in chief) because he did it. "Maybe we will have to try that someday", he says.

This type of thinking should put every American on alert. Trump has already shown that he believes he's above the law and the constitution is something he can try to get over, under or around.

Trump will definitely not go "gentley into that good night", he will rage against it. It's his mob mentality that shines through whenever he wants something.

Joking about 10 -14 years "we'll just say 6"

The 22nd Amendment

The 2 term rule was ratified in 1952. A president cannot run for a third term. If for some reason, the President only served one term, they could run again at a later time for another term.

In order to change the constitution, it would take three - fourths of the states to vote for the change and it could not exceed seven years from the time it was filed.

Making it impossible for Trump to remain past the 2 year term limit if he were re-elected.
