Chiquita is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, July 6, 2015. Our noisy friend, Chiquita Cicada, is at the breakfast table this morning. She cannot believe the heat Donald Trump is taking because he dared to voice an opinion. Chiquita has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. She wishes to discuss the current atmosphere of intolerance that is sweeping the nation. Chiquita has prepared a crustless quiche for your enjoyment. I will add some spice to the meal by mixing up a batch of Bloody Marys. We hope to see you soon. On the way over here, try to keep a low profile. America is not quite as free as it once was.

The Facts

Thank you all for joining me this morning. Donald Trump pointed out that Mexican illegal immigrants are bringing all sorts of problems to our shores. He dared to voice his opinion about what, if we are to be honest, is an out of control and dangerous invasion of our nation. We can thank President Obama for that. How ironic that the lead up to the Fourth of July week-end warned all Americans to be vigilant. The threat of a terror attack was very real and very high. In the same space in time, every liberal and some conservatives took the time to skewer Donald Trump for pointing out that some of the people entering our country were nothing but trouble. The fact that our porous borders also allow terrorists to enter our country didn't get any play in the news. It has been reported that ISIS has set up training camps in Mexico and that entry into our nation is made easy with the help of the Mexican drug cartels. The media also failed to mention that numbers provided by Immigration and Customs Enforcement state that nearly 87,000 illegals were captured committing criminal acts in the United States. Bear in mind that this number only reflects those that were apprehended. How many of them are still out there committing crimes? Trump wasn't exaggerating when he made his remarks. He was speaking up about an invasion of our country, and whether people like it or not, he had every right to do so. It is clear that free speech only applies when what is being said is PC and on the acceptable list as set forth by the completely intolerant left. The absurd thing is that the media is blasting away at Trump's statement, but has thus has failed to come up with any facts to refute the truth of his remarks.

The Left Strikes Back

NBC has severed its relationship with Donald Trump. I cut NBC out of my life a long time ago. I do not appreciate being lied to and manipulated on a daily basis. I find it so hypocritical that NBC finds Trump so distasteful but keeps the home fires burning for Al Sharpton. Univision has cut ties with Trump and will no longer be hosting the Miss Universe pageant. Trump has filed a $500 million lawsuit against them. They deserve to be sued. The Mayor of New York, Bill DeBlasio has jumped into the attack. He made the totally inane and illegal promise to have his henchmen review all the contracts Trump has with the city. Somebody ought to tell DeBlasio that he doesn't have the right to cancel a thing just because he doesn't agree with a person's opinion. I don't know what planet the mayor is on, but it isn't planet Earth. Donald Trump can easily withstand the economic costs of the Left's attempts to harm him. I pity the ordinary citizen who comes under fire for similar remarks. We are fast becoming a nation of suppression and intolerance. American's who love our country and want it to return to a nation that cherishes freedom ought to stand behind Trump and anyone else who dares to tell it like it is. I have no doubt that Chris Christie will be next in line to be attacked.

Sane Minds Must Prevail

Political correctness is the end product of a nation that has far too many ignorant people walking around. Remember the good old days when comedians could tell a joke and not be attacked because it offended somebody somewhere. I am surprised we still have comedians. College campuses used to invite comedians to perform all the time. The atmosphere in America is so weird right now that most top comics won't set foot on a campus. Students and faculty have become stupid, overly sensitive and humorless, and things appear to be getting worse. Let's get real. Our nation is being invaded. This administration has tied the hands of the border patrol and by doing so compromised the safety of all of us. A beautiful young woman was murdered in broad daylight by an illegal alien who had been deported many times for the commission of felonies. San Francisco, a sanctuary city, turned him loose and because of their insane decision a family is grieving. What we need right now is a strong dose of the truth, Trump style.

Chiquita's Song

I'm Chiquita Cicada and I'm here to say

I wish the Left would just go away!
