Education is equal to Success?

Updated on July 24, 2015
Study pressure.
Study pressure.

So, for some days, I've been thinking about something. Does education necessarily bring success? Well, that depends. The meaning of 'success' is different for different people.

Well, firstly, lets be honest, 'NO ONE EVER LIKED STUDYING!' There may be some people, but I'm talking about majority. Many still say that studying ruined their childhood. BUT, the question now arises, is education NECESSARY? Yes, it is! Why? Because, we wouldn't be here without education. Education bombards our brain with knowledge. In fact, education is so important that, a country's literacy rate effects the development of the whole country!

If you are anxious about what to do, I recommend you this book.

Road to success.
Road to success.

Do you think a child should be educated, no matter what?

Is success related to education?

Well, as I said earlier, "the meaning of success is different for different people."

But, for most people, success means, affording what you need, living in a good safe home or house, being respected by the society and having a 'special person' beside you.

That's most of it. But, Is education related with success? We, all know the answer for that. NO! It is not! There are so many people with no degree out there who are enjoying success. But, if education is not required for having a successful life, why do our parents always prefered education? Well because, it is safe! Our parents knew or know that if we get a good degree with a good college or university, we will have success!

Well this ends the discussion here, if you think you a talent with which you can pay your bills and live happily, then go for it. Of course education is very important, but not everyone can do it. If you think you can't study anymore, try again and again, but if you still fail, leave it. You Only Live Once, do whatever you are good at. With enough hardwork and determination, success is for sure!

A motivational video, if you feel down!

Successful
Successful

The six keys to success are:

  1. Mental toughness
  2. Hunger to achieve
  3. People skills
  4. Sports and life knowledge
  5. Breaking barriers
  6. Planning for success

The six keys to success are designed to help young people develop valuable life skills that will help them in and outside of school, now and into the future.

What most people do today is ''Go with the crowd''! If your friend is going to study in an university, doesn't mean you too have to do it. If your job is what you love to do, you will thank your decision for the rest of your life. The main thing is, you will enjoy your life! You don't want to regret what you did in your final moments.

"Do something today, that your future self will thank you for."

There are tons of people, "who started from the bottom" and are now at the top. It basically means that, they weren't as fortunate as you and me here! Yes, we can afford to access the internet and have a device to do that!

How did they succeed? They did what they loved to do!

7 Billionaires Who Started from the Bottom

Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz

Net worth: $2 billion

Schultz acquired his CEO position in 1987 and grew this coffee shop into 16,000 outlets world wide.

The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah Winfrey

Net worth: $2.9 billion

Born in Mississippi to a very financially burdened family, Winfrey still managed to win a scholarship to Tennessee State University, becoming the first African American TV correspondent at the age of 19. Fast forward to 1983 and Winfrey moved to Chicago to work for an AM talk show, which of course, would later be called “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Patron Tequila CEO,John Paul DeJoria

Net worth: $4 billion

Before the age of 10, DeJoria actually sold Christmas cards and newspapers to help support his struggling family. Eventually, he was sent to live in a foster home and even spent time in a gang and the military. Today he is the CEO of Patron Tequila and successfully invests in other startup.

Ralph Lauren Founder, Ralph Lauren

Net worth: $7.7 billion

Lauren graduated from high school in the Bronx, New York, but managed to drop-out of college to join the Army later on. Though it all went down in Brooks Brothers, where Lauren worked as a clerk, and started asking himself if men were ready for wider and brighter designs in ties. In 1967 he decided he wanted to fulfill his dream and went all in, ending up making $500,000 worth of ties. The year after that, the birth of Polo arrived, worked as a clerk at a point of his life!

Oracle Founder, Larry Ellison

Net worth: $41 billion

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Ellison was raised by his aunt and uncle in Chicago. Though after his aunt passed away, he dropped out of college and moved to California where he would work a bunch of crazy jobs. In 1977, he developed a company called Oracle, which as we know, is one of the world’s greatest tech-companies in the world.

I'm stating some BILLIONAIRES just to show that how hardwork and dedication can change your life. There are millions of others who not basically started from the bottom, but did what they loved to do, and succeeded in their life! There is no age limit to become successful!

Anyone can fail. The public admires the man who has enough confidence in himself to take a chance. These chances are the main things after all.
