Fantasy Island: Conservatives Gone Wild
America The Writing Is On The Wall
Who's got serious credibility Issues
It is fairly safe to that at present, democratic officials tend to be more trustworthy and truthful than their counterparts within the GOP. But by no means am I saying that democrats or liberals are infallible to being deceitful and treacherous, they are after all only human.
I merely mentioned this as a precursor to the point I'm about to make. It seems to be an acceptable practice within the GOP / Tea Party that when one person says something outlandish to the media that is baseless and blatantly misleading, others within the GOP / Tea Party adopt it as a talking point for the party's platform.
My guess is that in their minds that if they all keep telling the same old blatantly misleading falsehoods long enough, that the American people are stupid or gullible enough to believe it's as a truthful fact. Case in point is this ridiculous notion that keeps popping up in the minds of some GOP Leaders, of impeaching President Obama for violating his oath of office as it pertains to the US Constitution.
Now any rational person would think that a guy who taught Constitutional Law to countless masses of law students, who would later became the 44th President of the United States would have a better than average grasp of the contents and provisions of law defined within the US Constitution.
For those of who have yet to be convinced that the trend I'm talking about is not just an allegation that I myself have made up, allow me to dig a little deeper. The US Senate passed a bipartisan Immigration Bill a little over a year ago, but House Republicans, specifically John Boehner refuses to even bring it to the floor of the House for an up or down vote. Yet the Tea Party / GOP wants to complain about the President's handling of the current immigration / humanitarian issue now happening at our border. Here's the cherry on top for the Tea Party / GOP, the law that President Obama is following was a unanimously bipartisan bill signed into law by George W. Bush.
I can continue to elaborate further on this double standard of hypocrisy being demonstrated by the GOP / Tea Party, but this latest stunt of theirs is by far the most over reaching to date. Threatening to sue President Obama for using his Executive Privilege to often, but the President said it best. The best remedy for that is not a frivolous lawsuit, instead for Congress to get to work and pass some bills or legislation that addresses the issues and that he'd be more than willing to work with them to get the job done or problems solved. In plain English he's asking them to do their JOBS!
