Free Market for the Children: The Much Needed Establishment of Capitalism in China
Wave the Flag for Capitalism
The Possibility of Capitalist China
Any government which forces couples to have one or any amount of children is corrupt and immoral. That China has lifted the one-child policy only to implement a two-child way of life is still unacceptable. Horrific forced abortions and sterilizations still haunt the individuals who experienced such methods. Central planners exhibit some of the worst actions of any statist. By forcing people to not have births repudiates any notion of liberty within a country. To tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body illustrates the constrictive nature of that nation. The collectivist nightmare which the Chinese government has propagated for decades extends itself into the lives of men, women, and children.
All of the propaganda promoting the single-child rule negates the freedoms which the Chinese ought to enjoy. Infanticide and the sale of children plague the streets of Chinese cities. For instituting such slavery like conditions to the people of China, officials ought to be condemned. The two-child rule is still outrageous.
Any limitation put on the lives of individuals is a sure sign that the government is evil. In a country where the government should have been established to protect rights, it is instead throttling them. Whether it’s to drive more young people into the workforce or to take care of the elderly population, it still does not give government officials the right to intrude into the bedroom of couples and demand that they have a certain amount of children. Fines for failing to comply with the mandate further serve as rights violations. The rights in this case still pertain to property; that property is the body of the female person and how she sees fit to have as many children as she wants. With the introduction and thorough application of capitalism in China, policies which restrict human beings from reproducing will be a thing of the past. The future is still in the hands of those who seek to initiate and maintain freedom.
