Full Circle Discrimination
The LGBT+ community is not a minority in the traditional sense in respect to a race--being LGBT+ is not a race, but a sexual preference. The LGBT platform is not a culture but a political movement masquerading as a culture. Regardless of that distinction, the LGBT+ political position should be respected, however.
No group should endure discrimination because of sexual preference when it comes to equal protection of the law. No group!
However, same-gender marriage and its forced legalization through the Judiciary against the legislative directive of the people our family of America experienced should NOT have been legalized by a judge.
By natural design, men and women complement each other sexually and it will always be. We evolved according to some to include two genders. Coupling is to progress the human species' continuance.
Awkward as it may seem, why can a marriage between two men or two women legally accepted but a man cannot marry more than one woman legally! What? This is a paradox to me.
That makes no sense to me since polygamy is a natural evolutionary thing to produce more offspring. As long as the parties involved are not coerced into marrying, maybe polygamy should be allowed now. At least that marital union could produce natural offspring.
Assuredly, supporting the possibility of polygamy or polyandry or the ilk is not my goal; however, why not have those things when same-gender marriage is allowed? The absurdity of same-gender marriage is that there is no societal benefit to it in any way. Supporting something that is wrong naturally and morally is one thing since unmarried coupling is now socially accepted and even encouraged. The citizens opposed any laws passed to have same-gender. Judges, however, have determined that American citizens cannot vote to deny LGBT+ people the privilege of marriage so that they can enjoy the same status as traditional married people.
In the Civil Rights Era, the Legislature, Congress did that for Blacks, not judges per se. Legislation was passed with the support of the people to free everyone from discrimination.
Now, judges tell us, the people who voted against same-gender marriage, that we cannot decide whether or not we want to keep or change the institution of marriage. We are not even given a generation to acclimate to the idea of it that we have no choice.
We fear being called bigots, so we refuse to share our opinion publicly. We fear retribution. We fear protests and physical harm. Now the discrimination has come full circle.

Put yourself out there!
Should People of Faith Have Protection Against Discrimination?
If the media, the law and our elite institutions succeed in lumping Christian sexual morals in with white racism, how long will it be before believing Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox (and many religious minorities) find themselves labelled as members of “extremist sects,” no more to be trusted with the care of their own children than the Branch Davidians were? [1]
Already are voting citizens disenfranchised by the lower courts who overturned votes to deny same-gender marriage equal status to natural marriage. The Supreme Court has sanctioned the spread of unlegislated laws to the hurt of many. Businesses are being targeted and radio stations are being silenced.
God has commanded marriage between a man and a woman, but society has now decided to divert from that law and it wants EVERYONE to condone the change--damn the laws of God.
Little by little, atheistic forces are etching away at the face of God in America. The direct attack to remove God from the coinage and institutions of the nation have mostly failed, so indirect assaults will eventually succeed.
Any person who disagrees and speaks against same-gender marriage will be socially and politically burned and branded, including writers of articles online such as myself. I thought of the consequences of defending my faith in this article and fear gripped me for a moment.
Why should I be afraid in the USA? I support equal protection for all people, but I do not support laws that legalize sin and offer support for it. I do not support unwedded sex or government-endorsed sodomy.
I will never purposely discriminate against any person's rights, but I will always raise my voice against things that are morally wrong. I thought that was my right in the USA until recently.
Where does your view of marriage fit?
What is Marriage?
The Catholic Archbishop Cardinal Francis George made a prophetic statement whether he himself thinks of it as such when he stated:
"I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square. His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the church has done so often in human history." [1]
Times ahead may be troubling, but in the end, God will deliver His followers. It has been prophesied by Isaiah that in the last days wickedness will be taught as good and good taught as wickedness.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 5:20, 21, 23, and 24
Is that not the case in this period of human history? Do not the people, the media shovel filth and evil in our eyes and ears and we eat it up--having our righteousness taken from us? Do we not assume that we know all things and diminish God in our understanding?
After we have become completely rebellious, God will preach sermons of hurricanes and earthquakes. He has already began in my opinion. SInce I am not a prophet an opinion is all I have in that matter.
- It is Good that LGBT are treated fairly in society
- It is Good that LGBT can live life with less fear
- It is Bad that Christians (and the like-minded) cannot experience the same now
