Although the Iranian assassination plot against the Saudi ambassador in Washington, DC, failed, the US was actually rather shocked once it had found out the details, which led to the a Mexican drug cartel.

When Iran and Venezuela became buddies they exchanged much more than smiles and handshakes. Iran imports much of its uranium for nuclear bombs from there, and then there is Hezbollah, the proxy of Iranian terrorist attacks in the Middle East and infiltrating in Mexico and Latin America. In 2006, Hezbollah America was formed in Venezuela and its first act was to bomb the US Embassy in Caracas. Iran now has 11 embassies in Latin America.

Hezbollah is growing in Latin America and Mexico and have solid ties to local drug traffickers and this is a main source of some of their income. There are over 5 million Muslims in Latin America and for Hezbollah it provides fodder for their terrorist activities if cultivated carefully.

In 2010, the US authorities in Arizona caught what seemed to be a member of a Mexican drug cartel, yet his tattoo, was clearly Hezbollah insignia. He was and conducting drug activities with members of a Mexican drug cartel. Some of the cartels are using IEDs and VBIEDS (bombs in vehicles) which clearly are Hezbollah signature and expertise. Luckily, they are only in Mexico.

Then, there was a Syrian officer trying to sell weapons to the Colombian terrorists in exhange for a ton of cocaine. In July , 2010, a Mexican, was caught attempting to set up logistics for a Shiite Lebanese group that would be a base for operations against the US. Luckily, the Mexican police were watching his movements to and from Colombia. Upon questioning, the man divulged that he was trying set up a base camp in Mexico for Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. That was a shock to the system.

America is providing Mexico with much support and training and for good reason, it is in everyone's interest because the infiltration is coming from Iran and there target is the America's.

In December 201, an indictment of Lebanese drug lord Ayman Juma occurred. The indictment revealed Juma was a go-between for Hezbollah and the Mexican Los Zetas cartel. Juma’s indictment showed that 85 tons of cocaine had been delivered into the US for the Los Zetas cartel. Juma had laundered $850 million for the cartel, of which he received approximately 12% in commissions. The commissions were then given to Hezbollah to fund terrorism.

It is all about terrorism. Hezbollah is often used by Iran as its proxy so they are not blamed directly, yet their direction, weapons and training is from Iran. If they want to conduct a terrorist attack, it is better for them to find locals as in the recent plot to kill the Saudi.

      Hi Perrya,

Is Hezbollah the "army of God" protecting Lebannon's sovereignty form all outisde influences including and especially all the other midle eastern countries?

Are you aware that many American Corporations are operating inside the boarders of Iran right now? This is not a secret. If you own the stock of any of the countries it is well publicized in the prospectus.

Syria is mre worried about Iran then we are. As we are in Iran.

Please just help me out because I don't understand. Is it the contention of your article that Hezbollah is no longer the militia of Lebannon and running the opium market? How can that be proven it is Hezbollah. Everyone is related to each other over in the middle east. Are they doing DNA tests on Drug dealers in Mexico? It may very well be the Mouhajadine conducitngt he drug war as they would have much great access to the weapons, and drugs. Lebannon really doesn't have an axe to grind with the USA. By most standards they are a peaceful people. Could you have three bd people in Lebannon? Yes. But how is this a natioal Security issue and not a criminal justice issue. I can and have successful argued terrorism is mass murder and are the easiest killers ot find in our society. The question is why can't we?

I like you writing and I love you style. I just don't know if this makes sense given everything we know about Lebannon and the middle east.

I agree there is a drug war I just think it could be the moujadine or the Taliiban before it would be Hezbollah. And i still think it is a law enforcement issue and no longer and intelligence on.

It is a lot ot think about so excellent hub.

I fail to understand why we are fighting rag tag insurgents seven thousand miles away in Afghanistan and Iraq, all the while doing absolutely NOTHING about the border next door. Dang! I guess that maybe the simpletons in Washington think that Hezbollah, Al Quaida, Hamas and other Islamofascist groups haven't yet found a way to sneak across the border? (sarcasm)

Don't get me started on Iran. Is yet ANOTHER pointless quagmire right around the corner???

Yet ANOTHER reason why our Country has reached the point of no return.

Excellent hub, although scary - and depressing.

Hezbollah has turned into a radical forced largely supplied and under the hand of Iran in many of its chosen actions. They are also under heavy influence from Syria.

      Hi Perrya,

Can you help me out? I am under the impression Hezbollah is the "Army of God". Atleast in the 1980 the were only a peace keeping militia in Lebannon. They had no operations outside of Lebannon. Their mission was they wanted Lebannon to be a sovereign state? And soveriegnty excludes Iranian influence as well as Israeli influence. I also live in Florida and next to cubans and Venezuelans. I can assure you the the USA relations with CUBA and Venezuela is far better then what is spoke about openly because we own the oil in Venezuela and we have many corporations in Cuba.

Is it possible it is a militant group inpersonating Hezbollah in Mexico? If anything it might me the moujhadine (sp?) selling opium since they have more access to it.

      Thanks for responding in advance,
