I Am Realizing That There Is No One More Arrogant Than Governor John Kasich/The Republican Elites....

I have pride myself of being well read, especially in the area of politics, but I really did not know that the road to the Republican Presidential nominee was paved with such corruption… steeped in Republican elitism/arrogance. This arrogance has been on splendid display when you hear the Conservative mouthpieces and see the poster boy, Governor John Kasich, representing the Republican elites, strutting and trying to deny the peoples’ choice for the Republican Presidential contender. I must thank Donald Trump for exposing the seedy underbelly of the Republican nominating process, whereby the votes of the common folks, apparently, do not count - only what the elites decide in smoky backrooms, akin to the venal days of Tammany Hall... with the Republicans elites being the modern day Boss Tweeds.

Years ago, the great French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville, wrote glowingly about the potential of America’s Democracy, which was then a sapling. I cannot say for certain that, if Tocqueville were witnessing the corrupt efforts to deny Trump the nomination by the Republican establishment elites, would feel the same way, especially in an epoch when America should have worked out the kinks, and, in essence, overcome the Democratic, political growing pains. And to think that we used to hold our proverbial noses high, so as to avoid the supposed stench of the voting process in the then Soviet Union and its satellites in Cuba and Venezuela?

It is tellingly ironic that men and women - George Will, Bill Crystal, and Peggy Noonan, etc - whose political prose have defined the dangers of Socialism for decades are now espousing those ideas… by wanting to deny the votes of the common folks cast for Donald Trump. As a Traditional Christian, I know something is terribly wrong when Hollywood or the world is supporting someone or an issue… I get the opposite feeling when I see and hear the piling on unto Mr. Trump by the Republican elites, the Media, and the rest of much of the polity, notwithstanding the fact that I have written a blog criticizing Mr. Trump. Just yesterday alone, one of the infamous Koch brothers, who is like a Republican, political, donor boogieman to Democrats, said that Secretary of State Clinton would be a better President than Trump. I am of the humble belief that because Trump cannot be bought, and will not be beholden to the Republican elites like the Koch brothers, is the salient reason for the angst among the Republican Establishment's elites.

With that historical backdrop and a smattering of current events, does John Kasich, the supposed sage of the Republican elites, really thinks that he deserves the nomination? For God sakes, Senator Marco Rubio has been out of the race for some time now, yet the Florida Senator has more Delegates than Governor Kasich - nothing underscores Kasich’s arrogance than that fact. Now, think of the arrogance of this man, Governor Kasich, that, at the present time, he has less than fifteen percent of the delegates needed for the Republican nomination, yet, he believes that he can ride in and save the day - what malignant arrogance! I must remember to genuflect the next time I see the messianic Ohio governor on the Tele. Looking at this situation is why many in our society are cynical and give credence to the existence of secret cabals like the Bilderberg Group and the Illuminati.

I wonder if when Governor Kasich won the Ohio governorship that the runner up in the Buckeye State could have come in and usurp the votes of the people in Ohio? The fact that people are supporting Governor Kasich to thwart the Trump nomination is beyond belief - do they expect Trump and his supporters are going to bend over and say, Ole? You may say, well, Verily Prime that the nominating process has been like that for a long time now and ‘them’ the rules; and moreover, that the Poles show that only the messianic Kasich can beat Secretary of State Clinton - for me that is of no import, even if the 2016 Presidential race has to be forfeited to the Democrats, because preventing Trump from the nomination will utterly destroy the Republican Party. Incidentally, as bad as the nominating process is for the Republican Party, it is even worse for the Democrats - but that is another blog for another day.
