Antoine is at the Stove

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, April 15, 2018. Our dear friend, Ant Antoine, is busy in the kitchen preparing basic French toast. He feels the need to keep things simple, whether it comes to cooking breakfast or cooking up trouble in the nation. Antoine is most anxious to see all of the Poppers this morning. Won't you join hm in the kitchen as quickly as possible? If you see any black SUV's tailing you, run like hell. You could be next on Mueller's hit lit.

Justice is Dead

Thanks so much for joining me this morning. I need to get right to the matter at hand. Justice or the semblance of justice is dead. The burial began in earnest when the Clintons entered the political arena. Its demise was accelerated by the election of Barack Obama. The former president managed to weaken our nation, ruin our stance in the world, cozy up to our enemies, divide our nation racially, fuel the hatred of the men in blue, erode our military, weaken our borders and trash our economy. He did it all without criticism from the media. He did it all without a peep from Congress. He did it all right in front of our eyes and hardly a word was said. It would have been unthinkable to go after the first black president.

Under Obama's poor leadership, the Justice Department became politicized along with the FBI, the IRS, the State Department , the EPA and the VA. The change we need has yet to occur to the degree that is necessary. The swamp is way too deep and murky, and the players are everywhere. The good news is that it took the election of an outsider, non-politician to expose the existence of the swamp. That is why "the resistance" is so scared and so vicious.

Gestapo Tactics

Shame on Robert Mueller for unleashing the FBI on Michael Cohen, President Trump's personal attorney. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein personally approved of the early morning raid of Cohen's home and offices. They behaved like storm troopers attacking a Mexican drug cartel. They could have knocked on the door. I am sure he would have let them in, but that wouldn't have the drama that was part and parcel of this raid. Where was the FBI raid on Hillary Clinton's bathroom? State secrets were stored there, but nobody stormed in and seized the documents. The President's lawyer may have used a loan to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels. Tell me, does this sort of thing seem worthy of a stealth raid in the wee hours? Frankly, I can't understand why the FBI would be involved in this at all. The FBI certainly isn't what it used to be. Now it is an arm of the government that plays it fast and loose with the truth. It is hard to look around the landscape of the agency without bumping into a liar and a member of the "deep state."

A human friend of mine attended a wedding in Washington, D.C. recently. Seated at her table were a couple of FBI agents. Without saying anything they shouldn't, it became extremely clear to my friend that the rank and file of the FBI are disgusted with the behavior at the top. I found that little snippet of information to be very reassuring. Perhaps, all is not lost. The American people would like to see the bull's eye removed from the back of our president. If our president can keep up the pressure, I have a strong feeling that more and more of the "resistance" will reveal themselves. It's easier to clean up when you know where the dirt is.

Taming the Tiger

The FBI and the Justice Department are trashing our Constitution. The investigation into the Russian connection to President Trump has gone off the rails. There was no collusion. The investigation should have ended there. What's happening now is a travesty. Stalin's sidekick, Beria, is quoted as saying, "Show me the man and I'll find you a crime." Is that where we are now? Shame on all involved.

Antoine's Song

Let's go children of the homeland

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly flag is raised!
