Antoine is at the Stove

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, April 15, 2018. Our dear friend, Ant Antoine, is busy in the kitchen preparing basic French toast. He feels the need to keep things simple, whether it comes to cooking breakfast or cooking up trouble in the nation. Antoine is most anxious to see all of the Poppers this morning. Won't you join hm in the kitchen as quickly as possible? If you see any black SUV's tailing you, run like hell. You could be next on Mueller's hit lit.

Justice is Dead

Thanks so much for joining me this morning. I need to get right to the matter at hand. Justice or the semblance of justice is dead. The burial began in earnest when the Clintons entered the political arena. Its demise was accelerated by the election of Barack Obama. The former president managed to weaken our nation, ruin our stance in the world, cozy up to our enemies, divide our nation racially, fuel the hatred of the men in blue, erode our military, weaken our borders and trash our economy. He did it all without criticism from the media. He did it all without a peep from Congress. He did it all right in front of our eyes and hardly a word was said. It would have been unthinkable to go after the first black president.

Under Obama's poor leadership, the Justice Department became politicized along with the FBI, the IRS, the State Department , the EPA and the VA. The change we need has yet to occur to the degree that is necessary. The swamp is way too deep and murky, and the players are everywhere. The good news is that it took the election of an outsider, non-politician to expose the existence of the swamp. That is why "the resistance" is so scared and so vicious.

Gestapo Tactics

Shame on Robert Mueller for unleashing the FBI on Michael Cohen, President Trump's personal attorney. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein personally approved of the early morning raid of Cohen's home and offices. They behaved like storm troopers attacking a Mexican drug cartel. They could have knocked on the door. I am sure he would have let them in, but that wouldn't have the drama that was part and parcel of this raid. Where was the FBI raid on Hillary Clinton's bathroom? State secrets were stored there, but nobody stormed in and seized the documents. The President's lawyer may have used a loan to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels. Tell me, does this sort of thing seem worthy of a stealth raid in the wee hours? Frankly, I can't understand why the FBI would be involved in this at all. The FBI certainly isn't what it used to be. Now it is an arm of the government that plays it fast and loose with the truth. It is hard to look around the landscape of the agency without bumping into a liar and a member of the "deep state."

A human friend of mine attended a wedding in Washington, D.C. recently. Seated at her table were a couple of FBI agents. Without saying anything they shouldn't, it became extremely clear to my friend that the rank and file of the FBI are disgusted with the behavior at the top. I found that little snippet of information to be very reassuring. Perhaps, all is not lost. The American people would like to see the bull's eye removed from the back of our president. If our president can keep up the pressure, I have a strong feeling that more and more of the "resistance" will reveal themselves. It's easier to clean up when you know where the dirt is.

Taming the Tiger

The FBI and the Justice Department are trashing our Constitution. The investigation into the Russian connection to President Trump has gone off the rails. There was no collusion. The investigation should have ended there. What's happening now is a travesty. Stalin's sidekick, Beria, is quoted as saying, "Show me the man and I'll find you a crime." Is that where we are now? Shame on all involved.

Antoine's Song

Let's go children of the homeland

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly flag is raised!

TSAD...Shining the light of freedom on cockroaches and watching them run and squirm is fun, invigorating, and most satisfying...Freedom to these

history-deprived idiots is being able to light up a joint in front of your children...Liberals are unable to accept the fact that freedom is not free, it is paid for by sacrifices made throughout history by folks Hillary Clinton called "Deplorables", our Greatest Generation...

Yep, not one democrat voted for the tax bill which has given 90% of workers a tangible tax break not to mention the broad and real effects of lowering the corporate tax which is directly reflected in lower utility bills for households because that reduction in taxes the utilities get is passed directly to our utility bills. Not to mention the jobs it will create, the increase in pay and benefits for corporate employees we are already seeing.

Yep the Democrats are against all of that and they think they have a chance in hell of winning elections? Not in the real world of voters who are happy with lower taxes and less government interference in our lives. If these are the results of a president who is morally unfit for the office I guess "morally unfit" is FBI code for "this guy is going to destroy the democrats and fake media"

Maven, I bet you are the liberals' worst nightmare on forums.

      Dear maven,

Your insightful comment says it all. Under the circumstances, it really is amazing that Trump, an outsider, won the election. I have never seen so many people try so hard to get rid of anybody. The more he accomplishes, the crazier and more careless they get. It would be amusing to watch if it weren't so aggravating. See you at the Inn. I may move In to the Inn.

The "Swamp" is much more than mere corruption...It is an inbred culture throughout government that encourages the status quo and self-preservation...Outrageous pension allowances, preferential commercial perks, filial graft (Obama's grandmother, Biden's children, Clinton's brother), availability of impressionable young women (and in some cases young men as with Barney Frank), and the rush of self-importance encouraged by staff, media, and orchestrated town halls loaded with supporters, all contribute to this never-ending cycle of morally and mentally incompetents that will continue to follow the hidden code of obscuration presented to the voting public...

Interestingly, we, the American people, created this monster...A monster that continues to grow, eating our freedoms, eroding our legal system, imposing an unacceptable imperative of relative morality through political correctness, compliant Teachers unions, the Media (which has become another branch of government), and, bizarrely, the social engineering of the military...

I believe most thinking Americans are fed up with the constant onslaught of stupidity, incompetence, and a morally corrupt political class we have created...It's gonna take a lot more than pounding one's chest and writing comments like this...

See you at the Inn, Pop, where thinking Americans gather to drown our disgust and dream of an America that's as pure as the driven snow outside the door...

      Good Morning Lori,

This Daniels thing is a distraction that happened long before Trump was president. She is looking to make money out of this situation and she is inconsistent in her recollection of what happened. In any case, I am tired of hearing about her. I am also completely disgusted with all the Trump haters. The View is on that list big time. The show has no value, and frankly it is insulting that such fools get air time. As far as the media carrying on about Trump and his character. Where were they when Clinton was accused of rape? The hypocrisy is despicable. I'll meet you at the Inn.

"A human friend of mine" couldn't help chuckling at that. I don't keep up with things quite as much as you do but the whole stormy Daniels thing, isn't that supposed to have happened years ago? If so, it's unfortunate, but what it has to do with today I'm not sure, other than Trump has a character issue, like so many in our fair legislature and beyond. But Clinton has playing hanky panky in the oval office on our dime. That's a bit different. I think Trump's trying to get things done. I'm not crazy about his brashness, but I think he's looking to accomplish important things but there is so much pressure and distraction with all this other stuff it's no wonder he can tie his shoes in the morning.

I've noticed a shift from some of the left regarding Hillary. Many libs are now saying she ran a poor campaign, she had too many illegal things going on etc. Even on The View the other day I heard ol' whoopy, and might have been Behar too, can't remember but they were conceding somewhat but their heinous hateful words about Trump and pence are still going strong. I wish they'd take the show off the air. I digress. I pray for Trump and all the crazy bunch of washington elites and federal agencies. Who knows, maybe God will get ahold of them. I just hope trump will not buckle under pressure and that his own party can get behind him more.

I'm thinking the stormy Daniels thing happened years ago. Am I right? If so, what is it they think they can do about it? They can't impeach him. Clinton was with lewinski in the oval office on our dime. Big difference. You know, I'm sure many.of the people that go after others for these seedy activities are doing the same thing in their own private lives.

What a waste of time and money. While they are going after Trump from a dallience in his private life years ago, important issues are being neglected. The Stormy Daniels thing, if true, it indicates Trump has a bit of a character problem or at one time he did, that's s unfortunate, but hes doing a lot of good work now and if our legislators could all focus on working for the people, we might solve a few problems.

      Dear Kris,

Trump can tell Mueller to wrap things up, but I doubt his suggestion would be taken seriously. Mueller has exceeded the parameters of what he was tasked with. Now, he is up to no good. Frankly, I hate all the advice Trump is getting as to whether he should fire Mueller. Mueller is out of control, and I think he has to go for the good of the country. See you at the Inn. I told them to get rid of all their bananas!

      POP and Antoine:

Robert Mueller and his sidekicks are out of control. I wish Mueller would wrap this up, but he cannot help himself. I also hope that our president does not fire him; he should tell Mueller to finish this soon and then he can pardon everyone that Mueller indicted. After all, his success rate at imprisoning the innocent is astounding! I believe that he will do something outrageous just before the mid-term election in November. He needs to do anything to get the Democrats back in power. I am off to the Inn for some plain French Toast without any bananas! WooHoo! I am going to eat them all up. They are great with my favorite wine. ......

Here's me agreeing with you on one point: The Clintons were not worthy of the Presidency, and in my opinion should be locked up.

See, a Liberal can agree with some of your points. Sorry to disappoint those who are a bit too myopic.

      Pop and Antoine,

The state of the FBI (along with most government bureaucracies is disgusting). I find some hope in your report of the disgust of many front line agents along with the I. G. report on Insurance Man Andy (McCabe) which has been released. Let's try to keep some faith and hope alive.
