It Takes A Carter To Get A Reagan

Thank goodness we didn't give Jimmie Carter a chance to do what the present occupant of the White House is doing. What's that? Not much besides destroying this nation both internally and in the eyes of our many allies, not to mention our enemies, around the world. At this point I'm sure Ronald Reagan has been flipping over like a hotcake in his grave. Obama might want to stop riding side saddle and wake up to the fact that the world is still a dangerous place.

Bill Clinton woke up to that fact but not until after he had decimated the strength of our armed forces. There is much to be said about "strength through deterrence." It isn't about being a bully, which I think Obama has equated this nation to during mental midget life, but about keeping the peace. Having spent my 23 years of my early adult life being a warrior I understand exactly what Carter did and what Reagan had to undo. I served during the tenures of both men. One was weak and one projected strength and backed it up when he had to.

Lets revisit an open mike clip once more before moving forward.

I'm not a fan of Valdimir Putin by any means but he is absolutely playing the President of the United States like a chump. Maybe he is a chump by all appearances. One of the first accolades Obama received was being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing and I mean nada thing. Putin was just among the nominees for this year's prize and it won't surprise me in the least if he wins it. That's how much that Cracker Jack prize means anymore.

So this past Monday the EU foreign ministers met in Brussels and wagged their limp fingers in Obama's face while imposing the same limped wristed sanctions Obama decided he's implementing. That had the folks in the Kremlin laughing in their vodka right in the face of the supposed leader of the free world. I use the term "leader" rather loosely when dealing with Obama.

Oh boy! They suspended the privileges of 21 Russian elites to match, and maybe outdo, the 11 that Obama decided he was going to spank. They instituted an asset freeze and travel ban. Whoopie! Like those people aren't smart enough to have moved their assets and could care less about their next casino visits.

With a real leader like Putin you don't send flexibility messages. Obama showed his hand and Putin is a much better gambler than Obama will ever be. We're sitting here with the Ukraine on the verge of war with Russia, the black flags of Al Qaeda flying all over the country of Libya after having four American diplomats killed there and Syria not complying with a supposed brokered peace between Russia and this country to give up all chemical weapons and we have Obama riding side saddle. North Korea continues its nuclear saber rattling and Iran is about to have nuclear weapons. That must be driving John Wayne bonkers in heaven right now too.

So here we are with a complete novice occupying the Whine House acting like he knows what he is doing. He doesn't. Is there any doubt that a guy like Putin decided long ago that the west is weak and getting weaker as Obama displays his "flexibility"?

A study of history, actual history which most liberal minds like to ignore, should make one thing perfectly clear about one Vladimir Putin. There are historic arguments being used concerning Crimean succession. That's a fact and those very same arguments were used by Adolf Hitler used to invade and justify his annexation of Czechoslovakia and Poland back in the late 1930's. Annexation at the end of a gun is what it really is. Nobody stopped Hitler and now who is going to stop Putin? Rhetorical question with an obvious answer.

While Obama is out on the links with how many clubs in his golf bag, Putin is out there with only his lone club in his hand. It's called sheer, brute force and he knows exactly how to use it. He has an "energy need" weapon he is using like the master he is to force Europe to comply. What is Obama doing about that? Not a thing because he has to appease his environmental pantie waste supporters in his base. Enough politics already Obama! Your whole shtick is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place so don't try to blame it on someone else. You WERE NOT paying attention Barack Hussein Obama! PERIOD! While you've been fiddling with your political agenda the world has been burning.

There hasn't been anything done yet since Putin rolled his tanks and troops into Crimea that is going to cause Vladimir Putin the least bit of discomfort - NOTHING. There isn't much our NATO allies can do other than wag their finger in Obama's face for "not seeing it coming." Don't they realize that Obama is still too busy campaigning for an office he won't ever hold again? The EU is in dire economic straits because of their socialistic bent and has largely dismantled its own armed forces and relied upon ours as much as possible.

Now Obama and that jerk who they allowed to be appointed as our Secretary of Defense want to yield the ax to our own forces. Couple that with having an anti-war protesting traitor as the Secretary of State and shake well. Someone better wake the heck up and fast. So instead we send our Crazy Uncle Joe Biden to Poland to stand in front of that Baltic government making another monumental gaffe. Is it any wonder a thug like Putin thumbs his nose at this administration?.

Well we elected someone far worse than Carter, not once but twice, and we see the see the result of letting people who have no business voting in the first place going to the polls for a popularity contest. Being a patriotic American has never been a popular thing. But it will always be a necessary thing if this nation is to survive people like Barack Hussein Obama and his breed of liars and misfits.

HARSH? You bet it is and the truth right to its core.
