MY SEAL OF APPROVAL - ONE DOWN TWO TO GO

Updated on June 19, 2010

HIP, HIP, HOOHA

Today April 22,2010 the first of three Navy seals to go on trial for allegedly beating up an Islamic terrorist, Ahmed Hashim Abed in Iraq was acquitted in his trial. It’s a victory for all Americans to celebrate with thanks to God and Country. This great patriot, 1stPetty Officer Julio Huertas was cleared of all charges and he’s free as a bird again.

This man and his associates should never have been charged in the first place!!! They were only doing their duty. That’s what we pay them for, and they carried it out well. Who cares even if they punched a Muslim terrorist they should be given a medal anyway!!!!!!! That’s one down and two to go!!!!

The court-martial of Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe, of Yorktown, Virginia, who is also charged with dereliction of duty on allegations he failed to safeguard the prisoner, is scheduled to begin Friday also at Camp Victory. It’s obvious to an idiot he also shoud be found not guilty just as was his buddy Julio. It’s a mis-carriage of justice if any other outcome is even considered!!!!!!!!!!

Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe, of Perrysburg, Ohio, the SEAL charged with assaulting Abed, is scheduled to be court-martialed May 3 in Virginia, where the three men are based. Is there a shadow of a doubt that he also should be acquitted? These men were doIng their sworn duty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Let’s give them the support they have coming for keeping us safe in our homes and throw a victory parade once they are all three freed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      msorensson,

I understand and respect your position in this matter. My point in the hub was these men were innocent as AQ manual tells terrorist to claim they were abused if captured!!!!!!

I wish I could have said it as eloquently as you have. I have limited verbal capabilities, and your exposition is dear to my heart!!!!!!!!!

Tom, I read it when you first published it, but I could not leave a comment because deep within I am not in favor of violence of any kind, so I will leave it at that.

      Tom,

This entire idiocy has my blood boiling. As you may remember from the hub I wrote when these charges were filed against these fine men, due only to the pressure of traitorous, politically correct driven liberals, I charged them as cowards. That these proceedings continue is proof enough courage is lost in Washington, but it stands strong and proud in the men and women that hold within them the fortitude to volunteer their service and their lives for our liberty and safety.

      Tony,

I also agree with your sentiments. I wish we could chock it up to insanity and not to a plan to fundamentily transform America into something none of us would recognize!!!!!!!!

      eovery,

I agree with your statements. The fact that he let this trial go on shows his hostility towards our military heroes!!!!

Tom that is such good news. The fact that they are even on trial chaps my ass !How Insane is that. I would say our Government should be ashamed of themselves , but we know how that one goes.

I can't believe they are sending this to trial. What is this world coming to when you believe on terrorist over 3 navy seals. BO is putting America trial not the terrorist.

      Keep on hubbing!

Once it's all over for these SEALS, will they be allowed to go back to work? I doubt it.

      Pamela,

It is truly a miscarriage of justice that they were ever charged in the first place. Obama is the apologizer in chief not the commander in chief!!!!!!!!!!

Tom, I'm glad you wrote this hub. I heard about the acquittal of the first soldier on the news. This sadistic terrorist committed crimes that if they would have skinned him alive and it would have been alright by me after reading what he did to those contractors. Charging them is a miscarriage of justice. Bill Gates could have stopped this and should have. Obama, you know he's useless and would never intervene.

Absolutely 100% true!!!!!!!!! It's a travesty that they were charged in the first place!!!!!!!!!

      Tom,

You know I am with you on this one. If they wanted to do the right thing, they would dismiss the charges against the other 2. Does the leadership of our forces NOT realize how ridiculously stupid this crap makes us look? Those terrorists CHOP people's heads off, and we get upset if a soldier SLAPS one of them!? How does that make any kind of snese?

      Pop,

I agree wholeheartedly, these men are heros. We must throw them a victory parade once they are all freed!!!!!!

The president is busy hoarding his Goldman Sachs campaign cash!!!!!!!!!!

Great hub Tom. Where is the President in all of this? These men should never have been charged with anything. The terrorists are instructed to punch themselves in the mouth should they be captured. We should have thrown these men a ticker tape parade for their bravery. And frankly, I wouldn't have cared if these animals were beaten to a pulp.
