Make America Sane Again and Dump Trump the Narcisscistic Bully
Make America Sane Again, A New Logo for a Proud People
Here's the Real Deplorable in a Basket
America's Case Against Trump
There are problems we need to solve in America. Our politicians keep telling us they have the answers, but election cycle after election cycle, nothing seems to change.
This fact is no more Trump's fault than it was the fault of those who went before him. Fortunately, the powers of each branch of America’s government are separate and limited. When government is working as it should, the president has to convince a majority of 535 people in Congress that his idea it is a good one.
Corporate lobbying and special interest groups do make dealing with Congress more challenging for all of us. Corporations spend a lot of money on lobbying to make sure their interests are protected. Politicians know they will be rewarded with hefty campaign contributions if they play their cards right.
The president has some executive powers. He can act to provide aid in an emergency, or veto legislation that he does not think is wise. However, there is very little change he can affect without congress's approval.
The president can cause a lot of damage by misusing his executive powers. His orders can be overturned by federal courts. Of course, this safe guard does cost a lot of time and money, and until the courts have ruled, the issue remains in limbo.
Thus, politicians can't keep all of their campaign pledges because they can't speak for the others who have to approve ideas before they come to fruition. This fact protects all of us. However, when the president has a cooperative Congress to legalize his agenda, he can get a lot done. He can also cause a lot of damage by taking ill-advised actions or refusing to do anything at all.
Congress should be able to tackle America’s real problems. Instead, Trump and his side kick, Mitch McConnell are fighting tooth and nail to ignore America’s needs. They don't have to agree with the Democrats to make progress. Still, they should be able to discuss issues rationally, without characterizing those who disagree with them as socialists or unpatriotic idiots.
Whether you call it global warming or not, pollution is causing real damage to the earth. Our formerly rich top soil is being destroyed by harsh agricultural methods and erosion. Our wild life is being damaged to the point of extinction.
Our water ways and air are becoming less and less potable. Our roads and bridges are crumbling to the point of being unsafe, our big cities still have the highest murder rates in the industrial world.
innocent men, women and children are being detained in conditions at the border that only a sadist would countenance. Trump’s minimizing and denying these facts doesn’t make them less real
Yet, Trump has plenty of time to brag about himself and put other Americans down on twitter. In addition, he has used that forum and other media outlets to antagonize the leaders of other countries. He doesn't discuss policy or ideas with anyone, just hurls invective and insults at the intelligence of and physical appearance of anyone who says anything with which he disagrees.
Trump frequently announces major policy decisions using the same social platform as thirteen-year-old kids who use Twitter to chat with and about each other. Like those kids, he would be better off doing his homework, rather than spending his energies trolling about everybody else.
Instead , he either makes problems worse, or denies that they exist at all. In short, he is the cyber bully in chief, and is proud of it.
Any president has to travel to maintain America's place in the world. However, Trump has spent so much time in the air for personal travel at tax payer expense, that it is little wonder he hasn’t done much to “drain the swamp”. He behaves as if America is just another part of Trump, Inc., and seems to think no one has the right to question his thoughts or actions.
His narcissism and stupidity have cost us all a lot, and he has put our national reputation and security in the world at grave risk. A bully is not helpful in serious discussions, whether he is just the mean kid on the block, or on the world stage.
Trump has spent the entire summer goofing around on Twitter and the golf course. He seems to think the presidency is his own personal reward for winning a popularity contest. He either doesn't care or can't understand the complicated, nuanced job he campaigned to obtain.
I'm not saying the Democrats would do better. The problem is that they, and their reasonable Republican counterparts can't do anything constructive as long as Trump and McConnell stand in the way. It is like trying to pass clear, clean water through a rusted, clogged pipe.
Letting Trump occupy the highest office in the land is like handing a monkey a Stradivarius and expecting it to make beautiful music. A monkey can't appreciate a rare violin, any more than our president appreciates the wonderful and diverse population of this great country.
Trump's hostile words make American citizens into fearful warring factions, and only deepens the divide among us. This is terribly sad because the president is in a unique position to encourage us to work together. Instead of using his bully pulpit to unite us, he has replaced calm reasoning with hysterics.
He doesn't want to live in the world, he wants to own it. Hopefully, January 21, 2021 will be a day of liberation for all of us, including the MAGA crowd.
In Trump's Racist World, Whiteness is the Best Qualification for Citizenship, or Anything Else for that Matter
Trump says he is not a racist, but he is. In addition to viciously smearing former President Obama, he insults members of Congress and anyone else who displeases him. He obviously is not aware that the 4 women he designates the “squad” are all citizens of the United States.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that he is talking about the states that elected them. He would be angry and disappointed that New York, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Michigan were sick enough of his shenanigans to elect Democrats. Maybe he was criticizing these state's as “totally broken and crime infested places”.
Trump started his campaign against Obama with the "birther" movement. For reasons known only to him, he promoted the idea that Obama was born in Kenya, and that his first loyalty was to Moslems. Even the former president's long form Hawaiian birth certificate didn't convince "The Real Donald Trump" that Obama met the constitutional requirements to hold office.
If Obama had been white, it is doubtful that Trump would have pursued this conspiracy theory. However, he had to find some reason to make it seem that a black man didn't deserve to become president, despite winning the election. He even made the unfounded statement that Obama was a bad student who couldn't have earned degrees from Harvard and Columbia.
Trump's vendetta against 4 freshman congress women proves that he either doesn’t understand naturalization, or he doesn’t think it applies to people of color. He seems to have forgotten that the children of naturalized parents have the same claim to American citizenship as he does. His comments are not only an insult to the “squad”, but to the people in the states who elected them to Congress.
He has cruelly detained Central American migrants in concentration camps. Even children have died in the custody of his ICE thugs. He has never missed an opportunity to denigrate Moslems. He has accused Mexico of sending rapists to this country. He has slandered Native Americans to promote his own business interests. He had such hatred for 5 falsely accused minority teen-agers that he even said they should be put to death after they were exonorated.
In addition to being a narcissist and a bully, Trump is a self-serving hypocrite. His wife, Melania is an immigrant who was admitted to this country under the Einstein exemption. In addition, Melania Trump’s parents obtained their place in this country by chain migration. This is when family members of immigrants are given visas to live here to reunite with previously admitted relatives.
The Einstein rule was initially passed to permit people with "extraordinary ability" and "sustained national and international acclaim" to take up residence in the United States. Melania Trump was a model in Slovenia. Since there is no shortage of pretty people in this country, one must assume that her main credential for admittance was that she was dating Trump when she made her application. It is apparent that he wants to protect our borders from desperate Central American refugees, but young women who meet his sexual qualifications are welcome to skip the proper immigration process.
Trump has made it clear that he feels justified in his racism. His tweets and interviews are rife with his proclamations of white superiority. From the old days when he was just a vicious real estate predator in New York until now, Trump has paid political lip service to a belief in equality. But, he has said what he really thinks too often to believe he is anything but a white supremacist:
Our great African American President hasn't exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!
According to Trump, Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and he demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”
Black people are too stupid to vote for me.
“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe,
the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they
go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....
*(Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts)
"What I won't do is take in two hundred thousand Syrians who could be ISIS... I have been watching this migration. And I see the people. I mean, they're men. They're mostly men, and they're strong men. These are physically young, strong men. They look like prime-time soldiers. Now it's probably not true, but where are the women?... So, you ask two things. Number one, why aren't they fighting for their country? And number two, I don't want these people coming over here."
I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.
It was on television. I saw it. It was well covered at the time, George. Now, I know they don't like to talk about it, but it was well covered at the time. There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it, a heavy Arab population, that were cheering as the buildings came down. Not good.
We should have a lot of systems... They have to be. They have to be... It's all about management. As quoted in "Donald Trump Says He Supports a Database and ID Cards to Track Muslims in the U.S.: "We're Going to Have to Look at the Mosques"." (
In congressional testimony, Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.” 2000: In opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, so Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”
Of course I hate these people and let's all hate these people because maybe hate is what we need if we're gonna get something done. In 1989 interview with Larry King, about the Central Park Five (who had, as was later discovered, been wrongfully convicted)
"They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." (immigrants from Central America)
“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries coming here?”
“I’m a negotiator, like you folks.”

I know the Chinese. I've made a lot of money with the Chinese. I understand the Chinese mind.
I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.

No Conceit In Donald Trump's Family; He Got It All!
There should be a picture of Donald J. Trump in the dictionary next to the words "narcissist" and "bully". Trump is full of himself. He actually believes that he can do anything he wants, and that he is not capable of making mistakes.
He styles himself a genius, and has exhibited a conceit that would do Adolf Hitler proud. From the day of his inoguration and through his many "MAGA" rallies, he has shown an obsession with crowd size. He just can't understand anyone who doesn't adore him.
Perhaps his supporters have helped him delude himself. If you try to discuss Trump's faults with a member of his "MAGA" cault you won't get any give and take on the subject. In fact, you'll be lucky if they don't call you a socialist or a traiter.
Still, the best gage of Trump's self agrandizement are displayed in the things he has said about himself: He has never tried to hide who he is. Like narcissists before him, he can't see anything beyond his bright orange nose.
He is not a patriot. He is a self agrandizing criminal with no conscience. Hopefully, his supporters are beginning to recognize him for the crack pot grand stander that he is.
I'm not big on compromise. I understand compromise. Sometimes compromise is the right answer, but oftentimes compromise is the equivalent of defeat, and I don't like being defeated.
When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength.
You know, it doesn't really matter what the media writes as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass.
You have to treat 'em [women] like shit [
He's a good guy, and he's not going to hurt anybody. . . . He treated his wife well and . . . he will treat Marla well. Actresses, people that you write about just call to see if they can go out with him and things. I mean, he's living with Marla and he's got three other girlfriends. He does things for himself. When he makes a decision, that will be a very lucky woman" (Donald trump on himself)
People want me to [run for president] all the time … I don't like it. Can you imagine how controversial I'd be? You think about [Bill Clinton] and the women. How about me with the women? Can you imagine?
On Hardball with Chris Matthews, as quoted in the New York Post.
It's very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.
Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart... I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!
I sort of hope [a housing crash] happens because then people like me would go in and buy.
We are losing a lot of people to the Internet. We have to do something. We have to go see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what's happening. We have to talk to them [about], maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way. Some people will say, ‘Freedom of speech, Freedom of speech'. These are foolish people.
I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.
One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people—I categorize them as life's losers—who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I'm concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn't be fighting me, they'd be doing something constructive themselves.
There is a way of beating ISIS so easily, so quickly, so effectively, and it would be so nice...I know a way that would absolutely give us guaranteed victory...the problem is then everybody will take the idea, run with it and then people will forget where it came from...I ran it past two or three people. [It's] so simple. It's like the paper clip.
As usual, the Fed did NOTHING! It is incredible that they can “speak” without knowing or asking what I am doing, which will be announced shortly. We have a very strong dollar and a very weak Fed. I will work “brilliantly” with both, and the U.S. will do great...
“My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.” “All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.” “I’m so good looking.” “I feel like a supermodel except, like, times 10, OK? It’s true. I’m a supermodel.” “Do I look a president? How handsome am I, right? How handsome?”
I may be wrong, I mean, I may stand before you in six months and say, ‘Hey I was wrong.’ I don’t know that I’ll ever admit that, but I’ll find some kind of an excuse."

I Know I Said I Would Drain The Swamp, But Now That I'm Here, I Kinda Like It
A Light At The End of the Dark Trump Tunnel
Being a conservative doesn't necessarily mean you have lost your humanity. It doesn't mean you are intolerant and angry at everyone who doesn't wear a little red hat that proclaims that America has lost its greatness. Unfortunately, conservatism will be redefined if Trump and his thugs are allowed to continue dictating our culture and our national dialog.
Whether you are a staunch conservative or a knee jerk liberal, we all have to share this country. We all have different ideas and wishes. Trump has reduced our differences to black and white. There is no room for compromise in his world. It is all personal, and in his mind, you are not a patriotic American if you are not in lock step with him. This is why he is so dangerous.
He has hired people and assured us that they were great, wonderful or whatever superlative strikes his changing fancy. Then, they don't say or do something the king thinks they should, and they turn "low IQ", "stupid" or "Not too smart", and they get the pink slip. His administration is very unstable and disorganized. That is what happens when you can't settle on policies and even your allies can't trust you to be consistent and honest.
Even those who used to think Trump's neo-conservative pronouncements are right are beginning to understand the man. Members of his own party are stepping forward to take his 2020 presidential nomination away because they realize how damaging his presidency has been.
Most of us, no matter what our views of government and its function, want leaders who have America's interest first. Trump says he does, but he seems to think his own interests are more important.
Bill Weld, a Libertarian turned Republican who plans to run against Trump in the primaries summarized "The Real Donald Trump" succinctly: "I do think it’s not a stretch to say that, at some level, Mr. Trump is a sick man. And I don’t mean physically, I mean in his head. There’s lots of furies there. I wouldn’t want his demons. You know, I think that, like all bullies—and it’s clear beyond peradventure that he’s a bully—he is insecure.”
Mark Sanford and Joe Walsh have also weighed in on Trump's dangerous presidency. Walsh, who has skeletons of his own in his political closet apologizes for his past racist comments. If his regret is sincere, we may be able to trust him. However, like his supporters, we'll have to wait and see.
Mark Sanford has earned the rare privilege of contributing the term "hiking the Appalachian Trail" as a euphemism for having an affair. He used his fictitious hike as cover for his trip to Argentina to meet his lover. However, no one is perfect, and our concern should be whether he can govern fairly and effectively in the highest office in the land.
Whether Sanford and Walsh have engaged in indiscretions that would negatively affect their candidacies remains to be seen. Still, they do recognize that Trump has hijacked the Republican party and has excluded thoughtful men and women from its ranks.
Even Fox news has begun to understand that Trump has gone way too far. There was a time when all Trump had to do is whistle, and they would come to do his bidding. Now, that he has chastised them for "loading up with Democrats" and announced that he would "have to find another news outlet because they "were no longer working for him", they apparently realized that to give them their undying support was only going to damage their credibility.
We are all going to be so sick of politics by November 2, 2020 that finally having the election over will be a great relief. Still, this is the most important choice we will have to make so far in this century. Both parties have the opportunity to field capable applicants for the job of president. The Democrats have plenty of competent people to choose from. So do the Republicans.
If we are lucky, the Republicans will wrench their party back from the crazies who have taken it over. Hopefully, the Democrats will nominate the best of the many choices they have to date. Then America will have a well-deserved opportunity to jettison the worst president of its entire history, and can look forward to a safe, productive future.
Stable? Genius? Yeah, Right!

Fox News Says Not Working For You Know Who
America Is Great, It's Just A Little Crazy Now
Trump childishly insults anyone who does not worship the ground he walks on. Members of Congress, celebrities and countries who have been our allies, or at least not our enemies. have all come in for a share of Trump's venom.
Trump has had one scandal after another. He has something to hide, or, unlike his presidential predecessors, he wouldn't be ashamed or afraid to turn over his tax returns.
Not only has Trump failed to drain the swamp, but he became the biggest alligator in it. He has hired his children as his top advisers, instead of vetting qualified, objective people to give him good information. This is because he wants to surround himself with people who are trained to say "yes" to him, no matter what.
Many of the people who worked for him have quit or been fired. Even those who support his neo-conservative policies are deserting him in droves. In short, he is a vicious little man who is unstable, mentally ill and morally bankrupt.
Our country can do much better than Trump. There are competent people on both sides of the aisle. There are men and women who would genuinely put America first, not in the way of a two-year-old who wants all of the toys for himself, but in a manner composed of deep thought and state craft. It isn't too late. However, it will be if we accept another four years of a tantrum throwing narcissist.
Both political parties let us down in 2016. As a result, we didn't have any good choices. Both candidates got their nominations for the wrong reasons.
Both Trump and Clinton would have come to the presidency equipped with plenty of scandal and distraction to interfere with an ability to govern effectively. Neither would have been the first choice in less divisive times. But, Donald J. Trump won the office, and has proven to be dangerous to democracy. He has already caused a lot of damage, and if we don't stop him, he will break the Stradivarius that is our United States, and we may not be able to repair it.
