Manuella is in the Kitchen

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, July 9, 2018. Our lovely friend, Mantis Manuella, is in the kitchen preparing a French Toast Casserole for our enjoyment. Manuella is perplexed by the left's desire to abolish ICE and open up our borders. Their rhetoric is insane and their behavior is despicable. Manuella has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. I'll be there, as well, serving Irish coffees to keep the mood elevated. This issue deserves some exploration, so hurry over and take a seat at the table. We hope to see you soon.

Come One, Come All

Thanks so much for coming to the table this morning. The issue of open borders is heating up, and the fact that it is even considered an issue is disturbing. The left has decided that anyone who wants to enter our country should just come right in, no questions asked. Their latest battle cry calls for the elimination of ICE. Most of the protestors probably haven't a clue what ICE does, but "protesting" is now a paid position, and work is work. ICE is the agency responsible for enforcing our immigration laws. Believe it or not, we actually do have immigration laws on the books, but past presidents decided not to enforce them properly, so our borders have become a free for all. President Trump is different from those that came before him. He cares about our nation, and he cares about our future, He is trying to settle immigration problems, something past administrations were loathe to do. After all, winning is the real issue for the left and nobody wants to tackle sticky issues that may cost votes. Well nobody did until a real person came into the Oval Office. Not being a politician gives President Trump the freedom to tackle tough problems and actually solve them. How different and unique is that endeavor? If the left had even a small semblance of common sense they would admit that unfettered entry into the country is dangerous. Lax enforcement of border security coupled with the elimination of ICE paves the way for drug smugglers, child traffickers, child molestors, gang members and terrorists to take over our cities and towns and ruin our nation. Of course the left has no vision, and those they whip into frenzy have no brains, so the perfect storm is created. That's what we have now, the perfect storm.

Life Without ICE

The left has embraced a new cause to stir up the rhetoric prior to the mid-term elections. Apparently, they haven't a clue about the important role ICE serves. If ICE ceased to exist, our communities would be inundated with criminal aliens. The threat of deportation would be eliminated. MS-13 gang members would be celebrating in the streets. Those on the left would be hiding behind their gated properties, rubbing their hands in delight at the chaos the rest of the nation would be facing.

The sick part about all of this is the fact that the lefties haven't an iota of concern for citizens in this country who need help. The city of San Francisco is now a cesspool. Nancy Pelosi probably has to step over the bodies sleeping in the street to travel to her vineyards. The homeless are not her concern. They don't vote. She needs illegal aliens to enter our nation. Their presence will ensure that the Dems are the only party in power. Say good-bye to America.

Billions Wasted

Illegal immigration is expensive. A report released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform states that the cost of illegal immigration is about $113 billion. This figure represents the total cost incurred at the federal, state and local levels. Federal expenses include money for education, medical treatment, public assistance and law enforcement. Those in favor of illegal immigration, open borders and the end of ICE dispute these figures, but the burden of illegal immigration is crippling. Those that choose to enter our nation illegally use a mountain of social services, but contribute very little if anything in taxes. We simply cannot allow this situation to escalate any further. Our safety is on the line.

We have laws on the books governing immigration. It's time to obey them. It's time to enforce them. It's time to do the right thing. The clock is ticking.

Manuella's Song

When I speak they call me Manuella

And the politicos call me names.

They close their eyes

They hold their ears

Why are they so afraid?
