Name That Crazy

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, January 7, 2018. Tevya was hoping that the new year would bring sanity and common sense back from the dead. Sad to say our nation has more than its fair share of wackos, but President Trump is not one of them. Tevya has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. Thanks so much for joining me this morning. I tried a short vacation away from the insanity that we call politics, only to return to an even crazier scenario than Russian collusion. The left has now decided to try a different approach to unseat our president. They collectively decided that the "soup of the day" was mental illness. Actually, most of them should know a thing or two about the subject from first hand experience, namely their own. The Resistors are spreading the word that psychiatrists have examined President Trump from afar and decided that he isn't all there. CNN, the station that makes most of us insane has come forth with the news that about twelve Congress people have consulted with Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee and proclaimed President Trump to be mentally unbalanced. Not only is he mentally challenged, but he is hopeless. Oh my, oh dear, what shall we do? If he keeps up changing our nation for the better, he may have to be institutionalized. After all, it just isn't proper for a non-politician to bring down joblessness for blacks, recent vets and the rest of the population. If that isn't crazy, than I don't know what is!

Then there is the "crazy" soaring stock market. There must be tons of people out there suffering from "a good outlook", and that is not to be tolerated. The left likes misery. The left likes joblessness. The last thing they want to see is tax reform, but they'll have to learn to love with it. What if their constituents actually find they have more money to save or spend? That's such a "crazy " idea, that it must not be tolerated. Tax reform was a huge win for the president. Apparently, he was able to pull it off despite his infirmity. In fact, to the utter dismay of the left, this president is doing a remarkably fine job. His decisions make sense. He is forthright and honest. He is beyond clever at getting things done, unlike the usual lackluster job we see coming out of Washington. His support of the wall and the border patrol has curtailed illegal immigration. He has freed the country and its economy by getting rid of stifling regulations. Only a crazy man would do that. The left likes to see people struggle. That way they can run on the false promise of making things better. How dare this "crazy president" keep his promises. That is insane. That is not the way Washington works.

It's time to talk about the real "crazies" out there. Is it sane for Elizabeth Warren to say she is an American Indian when clearly she is not? It is sane for Nancy Pelosi to say that a bill must be passed in order to know what's in it? Is it logical for a San Francisco jury to acquit Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, a homeless undocumented immigrant, of the shooting death of Kate Steinle? Is it sane to turn the state of California into a sanctuary for all manner of undocumented dangerous people? Is it sane to oppose voter I.D.? Is it sane to oppose the construction of a border wall in these dangerous and critical times? Is it normal to reject tax cuts for the middle class? Is it sane to insist that ObamaCare is working? Is it sane not to expect to see our Justice Department mete out justice? Why is the left so afraid of justice? Is it okay to accept that the F.B.I may not be working in the best interests of the American people. What is going on here? Who is running the show? Is it sane to forgive Huma Abedin for allowing confidential e-mails to be sent to her perverted husband Anthony Weiner? Is it sane to let Hillary and Bill Clinton get away with everything? No, none of this is sane. None of this is acceptable.

President Donald Trump may be the sanest man in Washington. He ran on a platform that most Americans embraced. He succeeded far beyond most expectations, and the future looks bright. That's what I call sane leadership. Anything else is sour grapes.

I have a suggestion for all the sore losers, politicians, babies and media. Mount your unicorns and go away.
