Never Blame God

It’s come to my attention that people have the wrong idea of who God is.

I got born again a few years back and within the first year of my new life with Christ I wrote an article on this exact topic and looking back and reading that, I am just reminded of how I have changed and grown as a Christian. Then I also see just how warped people’s minds are, their ideas of who God is.

I got into a conversation with a childhood friend of mine. He lives in London so I have not seen him in many years but now and again we still just hook up for a little chat and see how things are going. I have gotten to the point in my life where my friends salvation has become important to me. Where they go when they leave this earth matters to me so I subtly brought up the topic of God because I wanted to see exactly where God stood in his life. It was quite apparent that God was not even someone that existed to him. It’s very sad but not quite a shock to me. Too many people believe there is a higher power existing but certainly is not called God. They also don’t believe in Heaven and Hell. It’s all made up in our Christian minds supposedly.

Being aware of the darkness that he and so many are in, I thought let me dig a little deeper into why he felt this way. Its turns out it’s the same with everyone. They are always asking the same question. Why is there so much heartache, Poverty, Orphaned Children and Natural Disasters? Of cause I laugh inside, not because of their lack of knowledge and understanding but out of gratefulness as that’s a place I had come from many years ago. I must say when you have a revelation of who God really is. Everything just falls into place, questions are answered. There is no better place to be in your life than knowing there is a God. He exists everyday and that He is a good God!

For those of you who don’t believe in God I can only say this. God is REAL and He is Love as stated in 1 John 4:16. Everything about God is good. He doesn’t have an ounce of vengeful and hatefulness in Him. He is love which means that what love is made up of is what God is made up of. He isn’t this wrathful God everyone thinks He is. He doesn’t do anything evil or bad or hurtful. He doesn’t test us by putting us in bad difficult situations. He doesn’t have the heart for that. He is love, He loves us and He created us to love. God is soft and gentle and caring, compassionate, forgiving, understanding and the list goes on.

People always ask why all the bad in the world and my answer to you is this. Why blame God? There is an evil force in this world and it’s controlled by Satan. Satan is the King of Evil and everything evil that happens he is the one pulling those strings.

You see the thing that people always overlook is the fact that God gave us free will. It means that we can decide what we want to do. There is a wrong way and a right way. The right way of cause is led by God and the wrong way is led by the devil. We make choices in life and you have to understand that every decision and choice made will alter the way of your world. How we have taken care of this earth is a problem of cause. The food we eat for instance is affecting our health. Today’s food is so full of chemicals and artificial ingredients it’s almost impossible to stay healthy. There are drugs and alcohol and smoking. The world is so full of death and destruction and it’s all rooted from bad decisions made by someone and then others following suit.

What about Poverty? Let’s see, it’s the lack of understand of how money works and people throwing themselves into debt. Then living beyond their means and then comes the time when all this catches up with them and they are caught so deep in debt they cannot get out leading to losing their belongings. People want what they want when they want it and they don’t care how they get it. Point is the moment you decide to get into debt you are already adding to your life story. What about Orphans? This is another sad topic. Parents making the choice to abandon a child they made out of being irresponsible. People are always walking away from their responsibilities. It is too easy to make a mistake and walk away. What about Divorce? Sadly people marry and divorce like changing underwear. It’s shocking how people have taken such a sacred union and destroyed it.

You see my point here is. You make a choice and every time you do, it sends you in a different direction. Either deeper in darkness or towards the light.

The problem with everything is that hardly anyone ever turns to God.

So what do you think would happen if people actually started to turn to God? Actually surrender their lives to Him, announcing they haven’t a clue what they doing and that they know God knows best. I can guarantee you things will change. There will be less children abandoned, health will improve because God will show you where you have gone wrong and help you get healed. He will teach you how to work with money and how you have no need to be in debt as that’s not the life He had planned for you. There will be less diseases, less divorce because we trust God with our health and our marriages. Even children will become more disciplined and respectful as they will be raised by God fearing parents who will instil all these Biblical Principles and morals in their children.

All I am saying is this. If you feel like your life is all over the place, you have health issues, money issues, marriage issues and children issues then your way isn’t working for you. Consider trying it Gods way. His way is the best. He can and will guide you if you let him in.

God will never just swoop in and interfere. He isn’t that type of God. Since we have free will He is like a gentleman waiting to be invited. He isn’t like the devil that sneaks in the back door and turns everything upside down. So when you look at the world and consider that God might be to blame or better yet why hasn’t He swooped in to fix it all, remember what I just said. No gentleman does that. If you call out to Him I promise you He will be there before you are even finished crying out. He knows what you need in order to turn a situation around. You just need to be willing to listen and to act on the instructions because Gods plans cannot fail.

When you know and believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth then created you for Him to love and then receive revelation of how deep Gods love is for you it will also hit you like it did me. God is ONLY good. He is ONLY love. With all the problems in the world He has a solution and to every question He has an answer.

People always ask me how it is that I can believe in Heaven and Hell if I have seen neither but the truth is I have Faith in God and what He says. So therefore I know its truth. I don’t doubt what God says. There is nothing that God says and does that cannot be proved.

Do yourself a favour. . . if all else fails try Gods way. You will be so glad you did. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts “Isaiah 55:9 He knows everything since He created everything. He created you for a specific purpose so know that He has a plan for you. No matter who you are or what you have done He wants to use you to make this world a better place. He wants to BLESS you while you are doing what He needs you to do. He wants to bring Heaven on earth and He needs you to work with Him.

Don’t confuse God with the devil. It is the devil who comes only to kill steal and destroy. So next time you see things falling apart around you or in the world know that it’s not an absence of God but the presence of the devil so strong because people are absent from God.
