Not So Fast, Hillary

Antoine Chokes at Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, October 26, 2015. Our dear friend, Antoine the Ant, is at the breakfast table. He brought over buttered rolls and lattes, but he is having trouble eating. Antoine had the misfortune of watching Hillary Clinton testify at the Benghazi hearing. He hasn't felt like himself in days. Please join Antoine and me for breakfast. He wants to share a few of his observations about the hearings. We hope to see you soon.

It's Not a Game

Thank you all for joining me this morning. I watched Queen Hillary at the hearings and grew very tired of her insulting behavior. Four people died at Benghazi and others were injured. Hillary should not be smiling and she certainly shouldn't be lying about that tragic terror attack. It is abundantly clear that Clinton deliberately lied about the events of that day. She knew quite well it was a terror attack and not the result of a video. She told certain people the truth about the nature of the event, but kept the American people in the dark. It has become widely known that the Obama administration was involved in gun-running programs for jihadists in Libya and Syria. Of course, when questioned by the committee, Clinton emphatically denied the allegations. Personally, the questions didn't go quite far enough. Clinton was also asked if she was aware that Ambassador Stevens held a meeting with al-Qaeda in Benghazi hours before the attack. Clinton declared she knew nothing about that meeting. Either Clinton was lying or she was admitting to being grossly negligent about events in Benghazi. I may be a mere insect, but I'll go with lying and grossly negligent.

Get to the Truth

The Benghazi committee has been on this case for 17 long months. Hillary will be in the Oval Office before they get it done. The State Department has been stonewalling the committee from day one. They are taking their sweet time releasing documents pertinent to this case. Clinton herself has been dragging her feet answering requests form the committee. I don't know who is running the show, but the committee seems to be losing the battle. Ambassador Stevens made over 600 urgent pleas for added security. Clinton testified that she was unaware of the requests. If that statement had an ounce of truth in it, members of her staff who never apprised their boss of the requests should have been disciplined and fired. Of course, none of that happened. In fact, the employees received back pay and were kept on the payroll. That alone should be grounds for indictment. Either she is the world's greatest liar or she is incompetent. I may be just an insect, but I'll go for both.

Laughing it Off

When the testimony was over, Hillary greeted her supporters by shaking hands and making jokes about the experience. She high-fived Rep. Alcee Hastings. Her behavior was insulting, crass and insensitive. She must have forgotten all about the four men who were slaughtered and the others who suffered injuries during that terror attack. Apparently, her Democrat allies on the committee forgot about the victims as well. They have done everything possible to screw up and impede this investigation. Truth means nothing to these people. The mainstream media could care less about the truth. Voters should ask themselves why in the world they would want an accomplished liar to sit in the Oval Office. They should look deep into themselves, but they won't. For the politicians, it is all about power and winning. Let the truth be damned. For the voters, it is all about wanting something for nothing. Let the truth be damned. I grew up in a different America, and I desperately want it back. I hope it's not too late.

Antoine's Song

Let's go children of the homeland

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly head is raised.
