Obama Wins
Obama Runs a Good and Decent Campaign
As I wrote on my hub "Condi Any Day" I had hoped Ms. Rice would have run for Presidency at the elections later this year. That didn't happen as Sen. McCain seems to have quite a succesful campaign that will no doubt result in him being chosen as the Republican candidate. America lost a unique opportunity when Condi couldn't be convinced to run for President. A female President would have been a unique chance - even though I am not a Republican.
On the democratic scene, Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were in a very close race. So close that Hillary fired her campaign manager a while back to get another. She no doubt KNOWS she will loose, but she's doing a good job at keeping her enthusiasm alive.
I am updating a blog on the subject at http://hillary-thirdterm-president.blogspot.com/ which deals with updated information in the race for the Presidency.
Update, May 2009: Senator Clinton became State Secretary under Barack Obama, a role she does handle rather well. The President can anticipate her running after his second term is won in 2012. So Clinton is no doubt running in 2016...
