Obama Years in the White House
Republicans never Wanted A Black President
In 2008-Barack H. Obama a Black United States Senator made history by being America's first black president. Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States defeating John McCain.
The Night Of The Obama Inauguration
Instead of attending the inauguration to welcome the new President a group of GOP Republicans sat at a steakhouse in Washington DC, making plans for the new president in his administration. One of their plans were to attack Obama on every issue, Obama didn't have a clue what he was in -stored for. The senator Gop made plans to block democratic Legislations unrelated to tax cuts.
Mitch McConnell's top priority was to make Obama a one-term president. Republicans disliked Obama because he was an African-American, sitting in the Oval Office always reserved for whites only.
In 2012 Obama reelected For a Second Term
The Idea of a one-term president was gone, Obama had defeated Governor Romney. Some of the same people who were against Obama had to swallow their pride and work with Obama for four more years, even though they didn't want to. Obama was accused of not being an American citizen, not forcing immigration and covering up Benghazi.
Why Was Obama A Target
From the first day, Obama was a target by Republicans who never wanted him to be the leader and chief of America. Obama saw a lot of racism but believed things would be changed for the good of America. Obama was the first Afro-America to enter the White House as president of the United States, and that resented a problem, for some who never thought it was possible. Obama saw a lot of racism in the White House but believed in change.
