Judge for yourself if prophetic words of the past ring alarmingly true in the present day

The world is full of doubters - skeptics and the like. But to anyone who accepts freewill, this is rarely a problem. By no means am I saying to be so gullible, so trusting as to not do any do- diligence to find the truth. For most people it is an absolute must to have proof and evidence of events not physically witnessed; after all seeing is believing right? But in the case of prophetic utterances and the nature of them being a foretelling of future events not yet observable in the physical world, the skeptics and optimists have no choice but to wait on the materialization of those prophetic words. To deliver a prophecy it takes a spiritual eye or faith to see future events.

I would like to examine one particular prophecy from the Holy Bible and give photo accounts from a highly reputable source of some current events taking place in China and give you, the reader of this hub an opportunity to analyze the event against the prophetic word. Please remember to examine the pictures given after reading these prophecies.

Revelation 8:8-9 states: "And the second angel sounded and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea and a third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed."

I realize that this passage refers to a possible volcanic eruption taking place and the red waters in the pictures are most likely from industrial pollution but could this event be a reminder to prepare ourselves of worse events to come? On the other hand, there have been recent earthquakes in China which coincide with land shifts. There also has recently been found a dead- zone or de-oxygenated area of water the size of Connecticut in the Gulf of Mexico where no sea life can live that is miles deep!

Revelation 16:3-4 states: "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea and it became as the blood of a dead man and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and the fountains of waters and they became blood.

Christians are commanded to be vigil for prophetic signs pertaining to the end of this age so that we will not be taken by them unaware. There are fish dying by the droves in the sea and water ways turning the color of bright-red blood.

There are wars and rumors of wars(Matthew 24:6). Disease or pestilences are on the rise in the land; famines and earthquakes(Matthew 24:7) are increasing! If the blood-red waters of China are not a prophetic sign to you, maybe the famines are enough to convince you of the signs of the times. Just looking at the pollution problem there in China is a sign of the brutality this planet has suffered at the hands of humanity. Does anyone care?

2Peter 3:3-4 states: Knowing first, that there will come in the last days, scoffers, walking after their own lusts and saying, where is the promise of his(Christ) coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.

You will have to decide and choose for yourself when it comes to believing in prophetic signs of the times but don't wait too long to make your decision on whether they are infallible or not - one's very soul or seat of affections hang in the balance.
