Props To Donald Trump For Supporting Water-Boarding Terrorists....

Props To Donald Trump For Supporting Water-Boarding In Light Of The Brussels Terrorists Attacks….

Since the death of Bin Laden, the pundits on the Left and Right have rekindled the protracted debate on the efficacy of Water-Boarding or what is deemed as Enhanced Interrogation. I have written about this topic before in other forums, but it seems warranted again to do so due to, yet, another terrorist attack in Brussels and Donald Trump’s subsequent support for Water-Boarding. Like the discussion before, I see nothing wrong with so called “Enhanced Interrogation” or Water-Boarding; I, for one, do not have the time to luxuriate in theories because, to me, such musings are akin to poetry… where idealism is only appropriate on the pages. It is true that Arizona’s Senator John McCain is adamantly opposed to Enhanced Interrogation and we give his opinion much credence because of the torture the Arizona Senator suffered, while being a prisoner of war in Vietnam… but with all that due respect we give to Senator McCain’s opinion on the subject matter… his opinion is not dispositive….

The problem with Senator McCain and many on the Left (dad, I left you out… because you agree with me on this) is that they speak in absolutes on Enhanced Interrogation/Water-Boarding. Yes, it is true that “torture’ may not work on you, but it might work on others. And what is the objective in using Water-Boarding – is it not to save lives, including those of my Liberal brothers and sisters? I find it ironic that the travails I went through down in Alabama when I went through Army Basic Training… many on the Left would deem as torture were the Muslim Jihadists forced to go through that same training… even if it were to glean important information that could save tens of thousands of lives. Who on the Liberal Left or Senator McCain, including our current Commander-in-Chief, President Obama, would not ‘torture’ someone to get information on weapons of mass destruction or to secure the lives of their respective love-ones?

For those of you who read this blog and are privy to the inner workings of our Intelligence field operatives – why is it that some supposedly carry cyanide pills or would prefer to give their lives if captured… if they thought that they might compromise secrets? Isn't it because these operatives are afraid that they might break under extreme torture? Why is it that I can say that I myself might break under such intense interrogation methods… am I so different from many of my Liberal friends? This debate is like the Pacifist who bemoans the taking of a life under Capital Punishment, but cannot answer the question what if a killer came in the night to do grave harm to his person or his wife and children.... If I recalled correctly, it was the late Christopher Hitchens who opined that when some Liberals are confronted with a predatory, dangerous animal in their homes, they would call the authorities and place themselves and family in dire straits in the interim. I will add that even when the folks from the authorities come to the rescue that these bleeding-heart-liberals would insist that the predator is not harmed in anyway.

This morning, after the Muslim terrorist attacks in Brussels, Secretary of State Clinton, now running for President, chastised Donald Trump for his support for Enhanced Interrogation/Water-Boarding. The sick irony is that Secretary of State Clinton rabidly supports the murders of babies (Abortion) in any Trimester - so she, apparently, has empathy for Muslim terrorist being tortured, via Water-Boarding, but not for the unborn children whose brains are viciously sucked out every day in Abortion clinics located around this country? Could it be that Donald Trump is right that, perhaps, if the animal mastermind that was responsible for the terror in France, who was apprehended last week, were subjected to Enhanced Interrogation/Water-Boarding… he might have gave up his Jihadist buds and prevent the dozens of souls that died this morning in Brussels. Alas, apparently, such common sense escapes the bleeding-heart-Liberals, even those who are gifted in superior mental faculties like Secretary of State Clinton.

I, for one, equate the killer in my bedroom, who came in to harm my family, to that of the would-be terrorist (s), who has information that could potentially slaughter many. Just how I would feel no guilt in taking the killer’s life who had violated the sanctity of my home; likewise, to procure the pertinent, life-saving information, I would undertake ‘torture’ against those terrorists whose sole aim is to murder the innocents. With all the bloviating done in the previous paragraphs, one gentleman on the evening news put it succinctly and better when he asked rhetorically: why is it that most Far-Left-Liberals find no fault in shooting an unarmed Usama Bin Laden in the chest and face - said shooting of Bin Laden took place under President Obama’s Administration - but waste their time waxing poetic about so called “torture” of terrorists. Those of us who find no fault with enhanced interrogation/Water-Boarding realized why the character in Jack Bauer’s ’24,’ superbly played by Keither Sutherland on TV, was so popular.

Thanks for the Glenn Beck site, and, as for what I wrote, you know brother that there are times when the Holy Spirit imparts His wisdom on us... no matter how smart we think we are.

VP you've out done yourself on this one! The points you make are so valid. Why have I never heard anyone who argues that waterboarding isn't an effective tool say, and I quote you:

"why is it that some supposedly carry cyanide pills or would prefer to give their lives if captured" as you just did.

Guess the media chooses not to broadcast that clip, as I'm sure someone must have made that point, but I've never seen it made in the media coverage of the torture debate, even on Fox. Why? Because it is plain common sense and they can't let reason cloud the issue, stick to emotions.

But of course, Obama's State Department is right as he (believes) he always is, if the terrorists could just find good jobs they'd stop this nonsense.
