The new norm of Republicans has sold their soul and their honor to the devil "Donald Trump".

Trump is abusing his powers

In 2016, Donald J. Trump, a billionaire businessman with np president in politics, ran for president of the United States. Trump made promises during his campaigning if he was elected he would make America great again. One of the slogans he ran on was if elected he would go to Washington, DC, and drain the swamp of government corruption. I will bring in the very best and the smartest people in my administration, instead, he brought inexperienced people including family members.

On January20/2017 Donald Trump, took the Presidental oath, by placing his left hand on a bible, repeating the presidential oath, I solemnly swear to faithfully execute the office of the president of the United States, to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution to the best of his ability. After winning the election, Trump took matters in his own hands believing that as president he could do whatever he wanted. Trump came into the White House determined to destroy the legacy of the former president Obama. Trump was determined to take away Obama's Health care, not caring about Americans who depended on it.

Abuse of Power

The Constitution was violated when President Trump decided to ask a foreign president to investigate, a political rival the Former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Ukraine

President Trump held back military aid from Ukraine asking Zelenskiy the Ukrainian president to do him a favor. July 25/2019 Trump made phone calls to Zelenskiy asking him to investigate the former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Trump wanted Zelenskiy to dig up dirt on the Biden family. When Trump got caught he said there was talk about Hunter Biden's activities in Ukraine.

Colonel Alexander Vindman

On July 25 Vindman and others heard the phone call between President Trump and President Zelenskiy. Vindham couldn't believe what he was hearing, he thought it was not right for a president to ask a foreign government to investigate a U.S citizen. Vindham reported it immediately. Vindman a Purple Heart recipient was accused of being disloyal to the United States and "espionage" against president Trump by Republicans. Vindman character and patriotism was attacked by Republicans

Republicans tried to defame the character of an American officer who was wounded in Iraq to protect president Trump. They tried to intimidate Vindman, but he let them know he was an American.

Trump Committed a Crime Against Our Democracy

Donald Trump committed a crime when he attempted to put pressure on Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine to investigate the former vice president Joe Biden and his son for corruption. According to history, no other president has ever asked, another country to investigate a United States political rival, except Donald Trump.

Republicans

Republicans are willing to lose their pride, dignity, integrity to protect president Trump, knowing what Trump did was wrong. They have defended every action Trump has taken and will never abandon him, they are ashamed of Trump's behavior, but will never cross him. Republicans have chosen the president over there country and the good of the American people, by not holding Trump accountable. Republicans are as guilty as President Trump and need to be voted out of office.
