Always Remember
I am not going to lie
I want to cry
I wasn’t physically there
But I still really care
Many people lost fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, children, cousins, or a friend
What started off as any other day in busy America turned into a nightmare in the end
On the day, September 11, 2001, a little piece of all Americans died.
The hours of searching for survivors turned into days, turned into months, turned into years.
As the time goes on, the pain does not lessen, it nearly intensifies all of our fears.
To the police, the firefighters, the doctors, the nurses, the volunteers,
We cannot thank you enough for never giving up until all of the debris was cleared.
On the day, September 11, 2001, a little piece of all Americans died.
Take a moment out of your busy day to have a moment of silence for all Americans that never got to say “Good Bye.”
Whether in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, Pennsylvania, or the War on Terror; there is a sadness we can’t deny
We will rebuild
We will come back even stronger though the void is never filled
We will NEVER forget
We will NEVER forgive the humongous debt
We will ALWAYS remember the innocent lives lost by a truly EVIL machination because
