So Who Built It?

Updated on July 19, 2012

Offensive To Many...

What I am beginning to hear seems a bit surreal at times. The latest gaffe from the Teleprompter-In-Chief goes like this, “If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” I happen to have built my business since retiring from the US Army Obama. So if I didn't build it, just who the hell did? Who is "somebody else?" The federal government?

If that is your answer then my answer to you is that you need to do a rapid exit from the national scene. It is no wonder with an attitude like that our unemployment figure has remained above 8% for 42 months. There should be no doubt why 23 million Americans are without a job or underemployed.

So, as a small business owner, what options do we choose from? Was it the Easter Bunny who came hopping by with a special delivery? Or maybe the Tooth Fairy left us a gift under our pillow? Or Santa swooped down the chimney and left us a ready made business under the tree one year?

Just who does Obama think built this nation? It sure wasn't the federal government though he now wants you to believe that it will always be your saving grace. It also appears to me that someone (Obama) is intent on destroying the very thing that those in the past and present have toiled to build and establish in our nation. Over the past several decades the federal government has done more to hinder individual determination and self-reliance that the founding fathers must be doing back flips in the grave.

I now am convinced that this obviously academic, egghead socialist is completely out of touch with what America and our economy thrive on - the individual and not the state, If you don't have any idea of how this economy operates and the engine that powers it then what makes you think you can lead any form of economic recovery?

Yes Obama, small business owners are the backbone of the nation's economy. The federal government produces nothing and I mean not a thing. My next question is the most serious one I have at this point in the nation's history. Just "WHO" does Obama think the federal government, or any other government entity, is? Has the man read the Constitution and all the associated documents and papers at length?

Let me give you a clue Mr. President. The federal government is "We, the People..." I am hoping that you understand that because we put you there and we can take you out. Somehow I believe you somehow think otherwise Barack. There are many people who have silently sat by watching you try to "fundamentally change" our country. We're called the silent majority and whether you think we exist is your option. I can assure you that we do.

Next up is the question of who pays the taxes that builds the nation's infrastructure if that is Obama's fall back position. Or maybe who financed the space program that has allowed numerous scientific advances? I reckon according to Oblabber Mouth that it was the federal government and not the people who pay for all of this (read: tax payers). That's his line of thinking. Without the federal government we would be nothing. Hogwash! A subsidized village is the only possible village in a Democrat's mind? I'm just asking...

Small businesses are where the rubber meets the road Barack. Those are the people in this nation who are the risk takers, not just the takers who have their hands out for the government dole. We undertake that risk to better this nation, provide a firm foundation for our families and create jobs for our fellow Americans and you explain it how?

How Dare You Be Proud Of Your Success!

Obama is exactly what this nation no longer needs. He's never had a real job in his entire life. He's never started a business nor run a business. He wasn't experienced or qualified to be the President of this nation. Some of you decided to give him a chance based upon a complete crap shoot. The Great Uniter has flip flopped on you believers in hope and change. He failed as many knew he would based upon his past, what little we could see of it then.

He just said something yesterday that struck a chord about continuing to do things that haven't done what they were designed to do. He suggested that we stop doing that. We've endured going on 4 years of Obama's incompetence and empty rhetoric So lets not continue to do what was an obvious mistake in the first place. He promised the nation many things and look at what we have ended up with - a failed Presidency. It's time to fire Barack Hussein Obama. He should never have been hired in the first place.

Somebody Else Made That Happen? The Proper Response...

His statement about the internet was Al Goreish. Here I thought Al had invented the internet? Roads and bridges were paid for by whom? What happened to "government by the people, for the people?" Reagan had it right. More government isn't the solution to a problem. It is the problem.
