The 21st Century Rosie the Riveter

Updated on March 31, 2019

Edited by Derek Gutierrez

Cardi B had a year where she seemed holier than Dalai Lama, with an awful marriage to a battle to the death with Nicki Minaj, the pop star always had her fans on her side.

She did a verse in the worst song of 2017, “Girls Like You” and no hate was given to her.

Outside of her egotistical charisma, her music, for the most part, lacks luster. This is a close accurate representation of how it usually sounds:

To be fair Cardi did do a good homage to Pete Rodriguez in “I Like It”, who was a popular musician who introduced Latin music to the Bronx in the 1960s.

Though this is Cardi’s story, not his. The hotshot made headlines this week when she openly admitted to both drugging and robbing men.

Cardi, who is just not a smart human being, would spend her nights slut-dropping down the strip club and when she found a man who was dumber than a feeble-minded chameleon, she would seduce him, go to his apartment, and then begin to drug and rob him.

For some reason, this “Einstein” decided to post a video about it with her World War Two microphone.

Once she received backlash she responded that she needed to steal from men for survival. Really? The actual statistical salary for strippers is difficult to collect, but a 2010 UK study found strippers made on average about $70,000 a year. Just about equal, if not more to what your parents make, or what you make... if you're not a journalist like me who makes 40 cents for these articles.

Cardi you're not poor, you aren't like Aladdin where you are stealing loaves of bread just to make ends meet then marry a rich person to live off their wealth. You were fine for the most part, and even if you weren’t it is simply immoral to steal.

She also claimed the men were "conscious willing and aware." Yes because I know when I’m on a date with a woman and she takes me to her house then I’m definitely “conscious” and “willing” to let her steal and drug me, that makes sense.

In a Yahoo article it talks about Cardi’s “struggles” “...while she admits her first time was embarrassing, the checks helped her get over that feeling quickly. “After a while, I didn’t even care anymore,” she told the magazine. “I was seeing the money that I feel like I would’ve never seen ever.” That sounds like someone who needed to steal from men to survive.

Let's all be intellectually honest for a moment, the reason why Cardi is getting away with this is because she is a woman. If a man were to drug and steal from a woman he would be crucified by the mainstream media. People would go out on the streets claiming that he may have raped some people.

Please comment and tell me why I’m wrong, this unfortunately is too similar to people like Bill Cosby.

Cardi B is an example of the poisonous hookup culture. The idea that we have a culture that glorifies the one night stand, that glorifies having babies out of wedlock and casual sex is damaging, and it is what is leading to bad marriages. Just like the one Cardi had.

I wrote about this a lot in my weed article. Here is a link to that:

The idea of searching for short term benefits is what will lead to an America with more people searching for a purpose with no solution in sight.

The U.S. National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health has documented extensively about how there is a relationship between having multiple partners and the result of more anxiety, depression, and substance dependence to combat the drama.

There is also the idea of pair-bonding: the ability to form close relationships with people you love.

The Medical Institute for Sexual Health states how “...when an individual chooses to engage in casual sex, breaking bond after bond with each new sexual partner, the brain forms a new synaptic map of one-night –stands. This pattern becomes the ‘new normal’ for the individual.” Eventually this leads to partners having more difficulty forming meaningful marriages, and sex is a part of having a good marriage.

The quality of your life will be directly responded by the actions you take on a regular basis. If we were to change the culture it should begin with our celebrities, it begins with attacking Cardi B for her crime.
