Botham Jean Shem a 26-year-old Unarmed Black man was killed in his apartment by Amber Guyger a 30 year-old-police officer of Dallas Texas. Amber Guyger was not on duty when she said mistook Botham Jean Shem's apartment for her apartment. Guyger said she got to the door it was slightly open, she put her key in the door pushing it open. There was no light in the apartment, she saw a figure walking toward her. I thought it was intruder, that's when I took my left hand and draw my gun, yelling for him to show his hands. Amber Guyger was found guilty of murder in a trail in Dallas Texas for fatally shooting Botham Jean Shem, in his apartment. Amber Guyger was sentenced to 10 years for the murder of Botham jean Shem and will be out in five years for taking the life of an innocent unarmed black man in his own apartment.
