The Ugly UN

Updated on April 17, 2017

Harlotte Spins Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, April 17, 2017. Our creative friend, Spider Harlotte, is at the breakfast table this morning. She is here to talk about the latest UN disaster and to feed us while she weaves her tale. Harlotte will be preparing strawberry waffles and handmade cream. I will be serving piping hot French lattes. Please join us. We look forward to your arrival.

The UN and Our Children

Thank you all for joining POP and me this morning. I wanted to bring you up to date about the latest horror show being perpetrated by the United Nations. I am always struck by how wholesome the name sounds. "United Nations" suggests an alliance based upon good intentions and morals. The truth is, as we all know, quite a different matter. The nations are far from united and the members welcome everyone, tyrants and murderers included. Our country spends way too much money supporting this useless and dangerous organization. It really is a horror show. Sit back and enjoy your lattes and listen to the latest travesty being perpetrated by this inane organization. Our children are in the crosshairs.

Indoctrinating Kids

The United Nations has assumed a very activist position when it comes to the LGBT community. It isn't world peace they are pursuing, but rather social engineering and brainwashing. The new LGBT policy czar is using taxpayer funds to indoctrinate school children all over the world. His name is Vitit Muntarbhorn. He hails from Thailand, and he is a professor at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He travels around the world praising governments that promote extreme teaching about the LGBT community in schools. No one would argue that it is okay to ignore this segment of society, but is it really wise to promote the lifestyle? Furthermore, is it the place of the UN to push policy that interferes with the family unit, and toys with the minds of young children? His rhetoric is always the same. He uses the umbrella term 'sexual diversity" to explain every known perversion on earth, including bestiality and pedophila. The horrifying part is that he believes that young children must be exposed to all of this in order for them to empathize with the LGBT community. He marches across the globe telling all willing to listen that the younger the child the better the results will be. He is a proponent of conditioning children to accept a lifetime of confusion when it comes to sexual orientation, and that is probably the least of the danger.

Read the Texts

There of plenty of textbook writers out there willing to change history, omit events that rub people the wrong way, and dumb down American students even further. Now the UN is pushing the promotion of homosexuality, gender confusion and sexual diversity in school textbooks around the world. The UN has decided that it is incumbent upon them to change our children's attitudes and beliefs. Just to add insult to injury the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is promoting sexualizing children at the age of five or younger. UNESCO is currently under the leadership of a communist who calls for extreme sexual education. The UN is advocating a global education push to instill their radical values upon our children and future generations.

Stop The World

It's time we rid ourselves of the United Nations. The concept is bogus, the work they do is useless, dangerous and never in our best interests. We give them far too much money and they use it to do ugly things like brainwash our children. They welcome killers, promote tyrants and treat ouur allies with disdain. They serve no useful purpose other than giving diplomats the right to run people over in the streets and get away scott free. We are not one big happy global family. We are a disparate group of nations that hardly ever agree. The goals of the United States are never reflected in the UN. When a lunatic like Idi Amin could become head of the civil rights committee in the UN, any sane person would know that it is time to pack up our knives and go home. It is in the best interests of our country to pull out our money and bid this unwholesome alliance good-bye. Let's get it done!

Harlotte's Song

Oh, what a tangled web we weave

When first we practice to deceive

Sir Walter Scott...

It's all ugly and I cease to be a part of this war on words. I don't watch the news now. Instead, I concentrate on making my small community a better place to live. I'll leave the rest of it to those of you who can handle the daily ugliness. Carry on my friend.

Like so many things, the UN is a good idea that has lost its way. I believe the original intent of the UN was a good idea, but to my knowledge it never lived up to the original expectations.

The UN has become nothing but a money pit for the USA to pour in money and get nothing in return. If the UN went completely away today would we notice any difference in our lives? I doubt it seriously.

You are so right about the UN. I have been saying it for years. We need to disband the UN, stop funding it and start with something else. When something does not work, we go back to the drawing board.

Ahhhh... the United Nations. This is the job I wanted in my next life to be an ambassador to the UN To come from another country, do whatever I wanted, especially with diplomatic immunity, to be in the hustle and bustle of the greatest city in the world, and NEVER work! It is the best life.

The leaders of the UN are so corrupt. Has anyone seen any country benefit from the UN? Never! The UN is a useless drain on the American economy and we need not pay another cent to fund them.

      Off to the Inn.....

      Dear Mike,

We really need to stop throwing away our money to lunatics who never accomplish anything! See you at the Inn. At least, that's a worthwhile way to spend our time and money.

      Dear Jack,

The problem is we never learn from experience. The UN is useless and we need to wake up and smell the roses. See you at the Inn.

      Dear Pino,

You make a great point. The life of a diplomat in NYC is golden.. Break the law, and you are untouchable. In any case, I would love to see us get out of the UN and put our money to better use. See you at the Inn. I'll save you a seat.

The United States of America has a basic responsibility to it's people and vice versa~~we have to protect our interests and ideals at all times. There is no single reason why we must feel compelled to be part of a group (as we clearly see in the UN) that the vast majority of us do not agree with but actually see as dangerous to our youth as well as an egregious waste of our money. (We sure do like to WASTE money, don't we?!!)

Perhaps now is the perfect time and opportunity to CEASE our disgraceful habit of "waste" of all valuable resources; money, time, energies, human beings and creativity for good. We've all understood the concept forever, "(Shed) or get off the Pot!!"

Crazy is as Crazy does. Thank you Pop!

Other than giving humanitarian relief around the world the United Nations has been useless, and an impediment to solving world problems. As they themselves are a major problem. You can't have the good guys and the bad guys in the same organization as the bad guys will veto any action that they don't like.

What has been the results of UN action in war? A dismal failure.

Take the Korean War, it failed to resolve the problems of North Korea, China and Russia. These countries backed North Korea in the Korean War, and today after fifty years of Truce, North Korea is a major problem to the world. Had we actually won a war, then we would have to deal with the conflict decade after decade.

There may be a difference now with both China and Russia being much more Western in their economics. Yes, they are still building up their Military, but they have a sizable interest in the economies. Russia is sitting on a large fuel deposit, and China has most of the trade we used to have in the US.

Unfortunately, North Korea spent all their money on building up their military, and war chest. They have stock piles of Chemicals, and are heavily invested in conventional and nuclear weapons.

Desert Storm was another UN fiasco, as their goal was just to free Kuwait from Saddam Hussein. So we had to go back into Iraq in 2004. NO wait, we didn't have to go back, the son of president GH Bush wanted to and got his way going back into Iraq.

Today, we are still in Iraq and where is the UN? We are still in Afghanistan, and where is the UN?

What good has the UN done for Israel, one of our best allies? Where is the UN on Iran? Another Nuclear Weapon country.

The list is too long for comments, but we couldn't have done any worse, had the UN never been created.

In conclusion, I would say that the UN is a world organization that used the game of Tic Tac Toe as their operational template. Remember, once you know how to play Tic Tac Toe the game ends in a tie. Playing the game then is equivalent to a Busy Box.

      Thanks, I appreciate it.

BTW, we got that FACEBOOK killer now alarming the entire country, isn't that what a nationwide manhunt means. So why can't they find him? Did he go the Pakistan route like Osama? :)
