Who is in charge?

The New Black Who?

I had never heard of the “New Black Panther Party” until George Zimmerman claimed that the group put a bounty on his head. Now the only time I hear about the New Black Panther Party is in connection with George Zimmerman. Could it be that he is giving them way too much credit?

This link leads to a New Black Panther Party vigil outside The Retreat at Twin Lakes where Trayvon Martin was killed.

Notice that the group includes nine (9) people. The sign says “Stop the killing.” According to the article, the $10,000 bounty was for the “capture” of George Zimmerman. Does this qualify as a threat against George Zimmerman's life.

It is obvious from the “hot mess” of a website that there are no professional people involved. I clicked on the links in the index and discovered a whole lot more “hot mess.” There are pictures of “who?” people. A “who?” person is a person that no one knows. There are many names that I can’t pronounce. Dates for events do not include the year so one can’t tell rather the event has taken place or is forthcoming.

I clicked on the “Become a member” link which implies that there are 1,301 members. With that many members, there does not appear to be one nationally known person involved. References to nationally known people and events are included to imply affiliation. It is not working.

Fox News reports NPP intimidating people at the polls on Election Day.

I try to hang in there with Fox News because I like to listen to all sides of an issue. The headline here is: JUST IN: Member of New Black Panther Party Watches Philadelphia Polling Place

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2012/11/06/just-in-member-of-new-black-panther-party-watches-philadelphia-polling-place/

Notice there is one (1) person, NBPP member Jerry Jackson, standing at the door of the polling place. View the video and notice that he opens the door for some as they enter. How does he know how people plan to vote once they get inside the polling place? This is not a young, menacing looking young man. It is not possible to tell whether or not non-Blacks are voting at this location; however, if they are brave enough to live there, surely they are not intimidated by this lone “intimidator.”

Kerry Patton, a conservative retired military member, watched the NBPP member from across the street, and said Jerry Jackson was nonthreatening and pleasant to speak with.

Why couldn’t Fox News admit that the guy intimidated no one?

Stirring the racial pot

There is plenty of blame to pass around for racism and racist allegations. Most people are intelligent enough to look past it. The few who like racial discontent and discord stir the pot because they want trouble. I do not endorse or support the New Black Panther Party in any way. If they are criminals, it is better to highlight the criminal records of all members. They are not a Civil Rights organization and should not be given the recognition they are getting.
