There Is No Switzerland Refuge In The Fight Against Muslim Jihadist Terror

In a gay night club in Florida, fifty-five souls, so far, have lost their lives and an Omar Marteen has claimed responsibility. When a similar massacre took place in France, I wrote in this very forum, and elsewhere, that that we need a Carthaginian Peace (http://hubpages.com/politics/We-Need-Something-Akin-To-A-Carthaginian-Peace-To-Deal-With-Terrorism) to deal with this perverted, malignant strain of the Muslim faith… carrying out murders in the name of religion.

It is true that no one has suffered more than fellow Muslims at the murderous hands of those who practice this perverted strain of the Muslim faith, and, yet, too many times when these atrocities are carried out, especially in the West, many of our Muslim brothers and sisters are sonic boom quiet. Permit me to use a historical analogy to convey that during World War 11, Switzerland was the neutral country for refuge among the warring parties - but by now we all should know - including Muslims - that there is no Switzerland refuge in the fight against Muslim Jihadist’ Terror.

These Jihadist murderers want to kill everything and nothing can appease them in this life but our surrender to the ideals of their faith. This is what President Obama and many secularists in the West or the brilliant academics do not and will not understand. Just how nothing - not even the threat of death I hope in Christ Jesus - cannot thwart my belief in Christ Jesus as Lord… so too that these Jihadists believe that their rewards are in Heaven and said rewards last forever, which is a very long time - how can anyone compete with these rewards, even with the tried and true secular carrot and stick approach? If we want to maintain our freedom to choose or not to choose a particular religion… then what is left is to fight for such choices.

I would be remiss if I did not address one of the elephants in the room, especially since President Obama has already placed some of the onus for the shooting down in Florida on the easy access to guns. This stems from the ongoing debate in America about how easy it is to purchase guns and whether there should be some sort of curtailment to their access. No doubt, as the information comes out, more than likely, the murderer was influenced via the internet - do we then blame Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Face-Book or the owners of You Tube (Google) for owning the medium from which the murderer was influenced/radicalized? To that specious point, in the coming weekends, many innocents are going to die because someone will be texting while driving - do we then ban all the means used to text? Moreover, it is illegal to purchase pipe bombs, yet the jihadist brothers responsible for the slaughter during the Boston Marathon used pipe-bombs to maim and murder. Need I go on any further to destroy the specious position that because of easy access to guns that these tragedies happen?

Political Correctness on the terrorism issue is costing us dearly and then you are wondering why politicians like Donald Trump are holding sway in certain precincts in this Election circle. We are going to see that the Muslim terrorist angle will be down played, while the terrorist act on the LBGT will be seen as an act of hate crime will be highlighted. This is so because both Jihadist terrorism and gays, in this country, like Europe, benefit from Political Correctness. Those who practice this Political Correctness are in a quandary in choosing which group to give the most empathy - I might be wrong in my assessment because the purveyors of Political Correctness might highlight the terrorism issue because of wanting to make Secretary State Clinton to look tough, so not to further cede the issue to Donald Trump.

Years ago, I wrote that it was only a matter of time when the United States would have to go and save Europe from the Jihadists, akin to what happened during the Nazi era… but it seems as though that we need to save ourselves first by not letting the malignant cancer of Political Correctness that is rampant in Europe take hold here and keep us from defeating terrorism. Does anyone find it ironic that the Israelis are relatively safer than Americans/Europeans, notwithstanding the fact that the Israelis are at the mercy of the tip of the terrorist’s spear?

Terrorism of any stripe, like the flow of water, takes the path of least resistance and to that sobering end, our schools, our malls, our sports arenas, our churches, our theatres are all targets and no pablum from the political correct police out of the Whitehouse or the venal media are going to stop these jihadist murderers. For the sake of my children, I too would like to tell them that these murders, carried out in the name Islam, will not be part of their future - but I would be lying! Incidentally, no matter what I write about this subject matter, I cannot do it justice or convey the theme for us to be pro-active in speaking out when we hear or see something related to terrorism that could place many in mortal danger like how a fellow Christian, Martin Neimoller did in his epic poem that he authored against the Nazis.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
