To the Democrats...

Breakfast and a Prayer

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, May 28, 2017. Our pious friend, Mantis Manny , is at the breakfast table this morning. He offers a prayer for all our service men and women who have given so much to all of us. He has prepared a sumptuous repast of blueberry pancakes and honey. I have prepared enough Irish coffees to tame the most restless soul. Please join us for breakfast this morning. Manny has written a letter to the Democrats in Congress and to those who sympathize with them. We hope to see you soon.

Obstruction of Justice

Thank you all for joining POP and me this morning. Speaking strictly for myself, and I imagine sane people across the nation, I have had it with the vicious and relentless attacks upon theTrump administration. Sit back and try to relax while I read a letter I have prepared for Congressional Democrats and those who support them.

To the Democrats:

What are you doing? Are you trying to bring down the Trump administration? Are you trying to undermine the wishes and the votes of all those who voted President Trump into office? I already know the answer, but I have to ask you why you are doing this. It can't be because he is doing a terrible job. It can't be that, because in fact thus far, under almost impossible circumstances, he is doing a great job. His recent trip overseas was groundbreaking in so many ways. He achieved a new understanding with the Arab world, and clearly won their respect. He proved that he is a friend to Israel, and reversed the awful treatment of our Israeli ally under the Obama administration. He stood up to our NATO allies and told them the truth about their lackluster support of the organization. He is about to reject the Paris climate agreement, and for that he deserves applause. Why have I not herd any praise from any of you for this historic trip? Are you unhappy with the outcome? Do you prefer to be held in contempt by the world? Have you turned your back on Israel? Did you want our new president to continue the Obama apology tour? Have you lost your collective minds? Clearly, you have all lost the ability to understand success when it happens. If any of you are capable of feeling shame, that is what you should be experiencing now. You are the true obstructionists in our nation, and I speak for most bugs and people when I say, we are tired of you.

Source

Stop the Whining

Democrats, it is time to sit down and take a long hard look in the mirror. I would tell you to look deep inside your souls, but there may be nothing there. From the exact moment Donald Trump became president you started your campaign to destroy him. This Russian nonsense is boring at best and maddening at most. Give it up. Hillary lost because she ran an awful campaign and because many realized that she is an awful person. Apparently, none of you cared about her lack of accomplishment. Apparently, none of you cared about her deception and her long ugly history of lying. That alone speaks volumes about all of you, but to continue this disgusting obstructionist behavior is treasonous in my book. Thinking Americans don't give a fig about Russia. Thinking Americans don't believe that the administration is guilty of anything. Thinking Americans see all this garbage for what it is. It is a pathetic attempt to derail President Trump's presidency and bring it to its knees. What you are saying to voters who elected him is that they don't matter at all. Certainly, it is not your love of our country that has given birth to your awful behavior. It appears to be your love of power for yourselves and your party that has given us endless distractions and actual pain when we are subjected to your countless lies and unfounded accusations. You are all guilty of a massive effort to unseat our president and throw Americans under the bus. It isn't progress and problem solving that motivate you. it is greed, power and it is clear you are prepared to break the law to get what you want.

Source

Too Many Puppets

Your fervent hope is to keep Americans on a string while you yank those strings and brainwash their minds and destroy their power to think clearly and act responsibly. Admittedly, there are quite a few fools who react positively to each tug of the string, but you should know that far more people have cut those ties. We are sick of your antics. We are sick of your lies. We are sick of your fake news. We are sick of your anonymous sources. We are sick of it all, but mostly we are sick of you. You have betrayed this nation by trying so hard to see The Trump administration fail. You don''t want to see healthcare improved. You don't want to see businesses flourish. You don't want to see families thrive. You don't want to keep our nation safe. Our open and pourous borders don't bother you. You don't care about our veterans and our soldiers giving their all to protect us.

It is clear, Democrats, that the only thing you care about is resistance, obstruction and in the end the destruction of America. I'd pray for you, but it won't do any good.

Manny

Manny's Song

The moment I wake up

Before I stretch my wings

I think of you

And my day is ruined.

      To all,

I am sorry to see Brad go. I don't believe he meant anything terrible about his comment. Frankly, I too feel he sometimes gets off track. I think his frustration was showing. In any case, everyone has to go with their conscience.

Maven, he didn't even acknowledge my comment to him which mirrored yours. But I' have noticed that he sometimes has trouble expressing himself which I think was the problem here with his "passion" statement. Just like liberals if you point out a flaw in his rhetoric he runs and hides rather than acknowledge he's mistaken. It's a lack of maturity but he does make commendable points on politics as we both have acknowledged.

Brad...Sorry to see you go...I felt, and still feel you have much to contribute to the discussion here on Breakfastpop...I did indeed read your rather lengthy comments and found that I agreed with them all, having read similar statistics in other formats...But I will not stand by while you blithely define readers of this Hub as intellectually incapable of understanding what Pop has written and simply ride along on her passion...

I bear you no malice, simply critical of your comment...Which I note you have not disavowed...

You disappoint me, I write a whole list of things and you ignored them while personally attacking me for something incidental to my whole article.

I find hp and now you totally as the problem.

I will not be commenting here anymore and I hope you know, it is thanks to you.

And people that say they respect the passion are not agreeing, they are respecting the person, not the message.

      Hope you are happy.

Sorry Pop, the inn is off limits. To many hostiles.

      Good Morning TSAD,

Bill talks about my passion because he doesn't agree with most of what I say, but he doesn't want to alienate me. Usually people I know who don't agree with me, don't broach a subject remotely connected to politics. Those that do are looking for a fight. See you the Inn.

      Good Morning Paula,

It would be great if crazy people actually knew they were crazy, but that's not the case. Hillary thinks she won, Waters thinks eating peaches will cause President Trump to be impeached, Schumer makes faces, Pelosi just looks nuts, Warren is a Navajo and on and on we go I am taking a cue from you by taking a couple of weeks off in June. No television, no papers, nothing but relaxation. See you at the Inn.

Pop and Manny: Sorry I am late for breakfast..... the Democrats have an agenda and it is only to bring down the Trump presidency. They don't even think of what is right for Americans. Trump's agenda, to make America great again, is something the Democrats should be able to work with; instead, you have the likes of Pelosi stating that babies will die with the new health care reform. WHAT?????? Pelosi, Waters, Schumer, etc. don't they think about what fools they are making of themselves? I guess not. If they keep it up, there will be less and less Democrats, as Americans say enough is enough.

I am off to the Inn I need lots of Irish Coffee

Brad...I usually agree with your comments but I gotta say what did you mean by this subjectively unnecessary comment:

"All that you said was true, but people that agree with you only because of your passion, don't believe what you are saying."....

Speak for yourself, my man, you don't have a clue what people are thinking or ascribing to what is true or false, right or wrong...

Pop has been writing this Hub for a long time now...I just started reading her Hub 6 years ago...I, and most of her followers do believe in what she puts out here every week...because she writes with critical thinking, an engaging cold logic, and unabashed patriotism...

Get a grip, most Americans know BS when they smell it, and they also know the truth when presented with facts and not wishful thinking...

Yes, the strength of America is in its people, all across America, not just the middle..I'm from the Bay Area, went to college there, worked there for many years, and I can tell you we work just as hard and with as much patriotism as any other area in the U.S....You see and hear just the most vocal, not the family oriented, hard-working men and women that are too busy working and raising their families to become engaged in this political theater with any vigor...they save that for their children and friends...

Brad, who, what people ever for that matter, agree with anyone only because of that person's passion?

Bill said because he knows this is from BP's heart (whatever that means, like she believes it but he doesn't?) he respects it?

Respecting one's opinion doesn't mean you believe it and passion alone is never a reason to believe something although liberals would love for you to think that it is if you are talking about their "passion" for gun control, climate change, Trump collusion with Russia or any other of their "passionate" positions that are devoid of facts.

But I certainly do agree with the rest of what you said.

McCain has disgusted me so, I can't look at him. He's another one long overdue to retire!

Waters, Pelosi & Hillary are all 100% certifiable....they make the 3 stooges look like Einstein and we have our very own unchained madman right here on HP aka Alternative Prime....he's way way off the deep end. Do U read his posts? Needs serious meds. He uses CAPS to Rant & Rave like a lunatic, Do these people not know they are completely insane? People who rave like that need locking up under sedation. This is why I have to step back. It brings me back to the whackos I worked with for years.

That corrupt bitch HRC had to degrade & insult Trump even at a college commencement speech. She's ready to be put out to pasture or better yet.....out of her misery. How can she even show her lying, crooked face in public? She has NO shame. When she pops up on a TV screen, I feel I need a shower...EEyuuu Yuk

      Dear brad,

I have respect for the truth, so I would never delete your commentary. Let's face it, our world has changed. What is happening now in terms of resistance and obscene behavior is unprecedented. I don't see it ending anytime soon. We a ton of people who can't think their way out of a paper bag. I was at barbecue over the week-end and I noticed a book by Bernie Sanders in the kitchen. It was immediately clear to me that talking about anything important would be next to impossible. You are right, we live in bizarro world. See you at the Inn.

      Dear maven,

The whole fiasco is maddening. This garbage about Kushner and back channels is laughable. This is a practice that has been going on for decades. Everyone knows this in Washington, so what is this costly waste of time charade all about? It is a non- issue, so these fools have no right to spend time on this matter. I am sick of all of them. Like you, I can't stand that smirk on Schumer's face, and I have an awful lot of trouble looking at McCain, as well. See you at the Inn. If one of these horrors tries to enter the building they will be tossed out.

      Manny and Pop

All that you said was true, but people that agree with you only because of your passion, don't believe what you are saying.

The West Coast and the East Coast a filled with Democrats. CA, OR and WA have been under democrat control for decades, so much so that if anyone wondered what the US would look like under the goals of the democrats, CA is their vision.

High Taxes, more taxes, failure of to improve the infrastructure that since 1980 has a population that doubled. These states are so far to the left, it is wonder how they are not drifting towards Hawaii.

The following 12 states (23% of the 52 states) gave Clinton 191 EC votes, and 41 million popular votes.

CA, NY, IL, NJ, VA, WA, MA, MD, CO, OR, NV, FL.

The popular vote was close in FL, OR, WA,NV, CO, and VA

But in CA 8.7 mil for HRC, and 4.5 mil for Trump.

in NY 4.5 mil for HRC and 2.8 mil for Trump

And these two alone were 31% of the 41.2 mil popular votes for HRC.

It is sad when I grew up in NY, and live in CA.

My point is that the middle of the country is like the middle income taxpayers, as they both are the heart of the country.

Ca and Wa both make considerable amount of revenue from the department of defense and when have we not had wars to fuel their production rate.

Ca is really still part of Mexico, as they give illegal aliens not only defacto American Citizenship, but they give them benefits that Americans don't get, like free college, free medical, free education. They claim these illegals are doing work we don't do, but it seems like the middle of the country does fine without millions of them. The cost of this cheap labor is found in those free benefits, that I mentioned above. Also, a significant percentage of our 2 million people in US jails and prisons are illegals. And, I just don't understand Sanctuary Cities giving aide and protection to Convicted Felons?

The entire democrat base has rallied as one, while the republicans think that have been elected by the democrats. Both parties are pathetic, and ruin the concept of the United States. The 3 branches of US government have failed. PC has watered down most of the constitutional protections like Freedom of Speech, privacy etc.

In 2018, we need to have candidates that not only will tell us that they will be for the country over party, but they need to convince us. And those that lie, shouldn't be reelected.

Could we do any worse than vote independent, rather than reelect the likes of John McCain or Lyndsey Graham.

BTW, over the weekend, I was talking to some "republicans" and they are starting to sound like democrats. They don't like how Trump talks, and they believe he is failing, they also don't understand the reason for the wall, or why wouldn't shouldn't take in terrorists.

Their problem, I believe is that they believe what they hear on the "news".

They don't understand that actually looking at Trump live, and seeing what he is doing is better than having a "news" person tell you is a problem. All the slick politicians have a mellow approach, except for HRC, but these people fail to connect that being lulled by these politicians has the consequences of them not working for the country. They can't seem to look at what Trump has done, they focus on what the media tells them. That he failed on the wall, he failed on healthcare, and temp banning of terrorist countries. They don't seem to blame the democrats for making these failures.

I just don't understand these people. It is like living in Bizarro world. Where everything wrong is considered right.

Meanwhile, decade after decade the school systems across the countries are indoctrinating the students to be on the far left. If you track this educational influence over the last 50 or so years, you will see two things, at least two. One is the continued decline of the US, including continual wars, and failure to win them. and Two, is the social reengineering of Americans, and putting Americans in the back of the "bus".

It also seems that each generation is more infected than the previous one. Also, it seems that the US intel agencies put Americans on the same level as they do foreign countries.

I asked a question on hp the other day. What does "united" as in United States of America actually mean today?

Also, being on hp is getting more and more like being in a foreign hostile country, maybe like Venezuela, or ME, or African, but not anything like the country we celebrate on the 4th of July.

del this if it is too depressing.

I agree. What really worries me is this next generation of kids coming out of wacko liberal colleges who will expect life to be handed to them on a silver platter. I heard this morning that black students at an IVY League school are demanding free tuition, guaranteed housing and a host of other insanities. They are threatening trouble if they don't get their way. I say expel them! See you at the Inn.

You got that so right Will. What will it take for the public to realize that "professional politician" is not an occupation but actually a term of incompetence or criminality like "felon." It is not a term that, as Democrat and Republican establishments would have you believe, denotes some sort of qualification or experience for public service or government. I laugh out loud when idiots on both sides claim any elected government office requires an "experienced politician," when any person capable of reason knows that the ineptness of "experienced politicians" is what is wrong with everything.

Manny & pop.....I need to be very grateful for the strength & stamina you display. This is a powerful letter Manny has written to the Democrats. It is sad and troubling to know in advance that the recipients it is directed to, will ignore it, toss it aside, or worse, step up their lunacy, destruction, lies & distortions. They will not stop nor consider our country but only their crazed need to ruin Trump.

While the POTUS goes forward & has made great strides, their refusal to acknowledge any good he does, increases their need to hate, insult, degrade & use false (fake) news & sensationalism to repel and distract. I have chosen the attitude at this point, OK, scream your lungs out, stomp your feet, create all the fantasy you can muster and keep digging for any & all distractions you feel can support your hatred of the right. Even a run-away locomotive eventually runs out and steam and comes to a halt at the end of a trail of chaos and destruction.

Manny is to be commended for a sensible, honest and justifiable acknowledgement of our President's activities, efforts and accomplishments thus far, despite such utterly insane opposition. Thanks to both of you. I apologize for being so worn, disgusted, intolerant of the B.S. and seriously concerned for our entire country....that I am numbed by it all.......Paula

It's not just the Democrats, Pop! It's the entire political establishment, including Republicans like John McCain and Lindsey Graham. They are still furious and humiliated because the nation rejected politicians and elected the first non-politician as their president. Therefore, it is now the goal of the elite political class to make sure that non-politician fails and fails badly.

That's why Congress, controlled by Republicans, is dragging its feet on passing the bills American voters want. Trump must fail!
