To the Democrats...

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, May 28, 2017. Our pious friend, Mantis Manny , is at the breakfast table this morning. He offers a prayer for all our service men and women who have given so much to all of us. He has prepared a sumptuous repast of blueberry pancakes and honey. I have prepared enough Irish coffees to tame the most restless soul. Please join us for breakfast this morning. Manny has written a letter to the Democrats in Congress and to those who sympathize with them. We hope to see you soon.

Thank you all for joining POP and me this morning. Speaking strictly for myself, and I imagine sane people across the nation, I have had it with the vicious and relentless attacks upon theTrump administration. Sit back and try to relax while I read a letter I have prepared for Congressional Democrats and those who support them.

To the Democrats:

What are you doing? Are you trying to bring down the Trump administration? Are you trying to undermine the wishes and the votes of all those who voted President Trump into office? I already know the answer, but I have to ask you why you are doing this. It can't be because he is doing a terrible job. It can't be that, because in fact thus far, under almost impossible circumstances, he is doing a great job. His recent trip overseas was groundbreaking in so many ways. He achieved a new understanding with the Arab world, and clearly won their respect. He proved that he is a friend to Israel, and reversed the awful treatment of our Israeli ally under the Obama administration. He stood up to our NATO allies and told them the truth about their lackluster support of the organization. He is about to reject the Paris climate agreement, and for that he deserves applause. Why have I not herd any praise from any of you for this historic trip? Are you unhappy with the outcome? Do you prefer to be held in contempt by the world? Have you turned your back on Israel? Did you want our new president to continue the Obama apology tour? Have you lost your collective minds? Clearly, you have all lost the ability to understand success when it happens. If any of you are capable of feeling shame, that is what you should be experiencing now. You are the true obstructionists in our nation, and I speak for most bugs and people when I say, we are tired of you.

Democrats, it is time to sit down and take a long hard look in the mirror. I would tell you to look deep inside your souls, but there may be nothing there. From the exact moment Donald Trump became president you started your campaign to destroy him. This Russian nonsense is boring at best and maddening at most. Give it up. Hillary lost because she ran an awful campaign and because many realized that she is an awful person. Apparently, none of you cared about her lack of accomplishment. Apparently, none of you cared about her deception and her long ugly history of lying. That alone speaks volumes about all of you, but to continue this disgusting obstructionist behavior is treasonous in my book. Thinking Americans don't give a fig about Russia. Thinking Americans don't believe that the administration is guilty of anything. Thinking Americans see all this garbage for what it is. It is a pathetic attempt to derail President Trump's presidency and bring it to its knees. What you are saying to voters who elected him is that they don't matter at all. Certainly, it is not your love of our country that has given birth to your awful behavior. It appears to be your love of power for yourselves and your party that has given us endless distractions and actual pain when we are subjected to your countless lies and unfounded accusations. You are all guilty of a massive effort to unseat our president and throw Americans under the bus. It isn't progress and problem solving that motivate you. it is greed, power and it is clear you are prepared to break the law to get what you want.

Your fervent hope is to keep Americans on a string while you yank those strings and brainwash their minds and destroy their power to think clearly and act responsibly. Admittedly, there are quite a few fools who react positively to each tug of the string, but you should know that far more people have cut those ties. We are sick of your antics. We are sick of your lies. We are sick of your fake news. We are sick of your anonymous sources. We are sick of it all, but mostly we are sick of you. You have betrayed this nation by trying so hard to see The Trump administration fail. You don''t want to see healthcare improved. You don't want to see businesses flourish. You don't want to see families thrive. You don't want to keep our nation safe. Our open and pourous borders don't bother you. You don't care about our veterans and our soldiers giving their all to protect us.

It is clear, Democrats, that the only thing you care about is resistance, obstruction and in the end the destruction of America. I'd pray for you, but it won't do any good.
